Widescreen Fix by Aero

1. Download Widescreen Fix made by Aero[github.com]

2. Extract the zip contents.

3. Copy the extracted contents and paste them to your Bully game director ( the one with Bully.exe file).

SilentPatchBully by Silent

SilentPatch attempts to fix Bully memory management completely, so it behaves in the same way independent of Windows version. This is not the only fix included, however - most notably, it attempts to improve gameplay experience by improving frame pacing, as well as fixing a few other issues. from Silent's Github...[github.com]

Change FPS capped at 30...

An option to change FPS cap has been added to SilentPatchBully.ini file (game defaults to 30 FPS).

1. After installing the Widescreen Fix and SilentPatchBully go to Bully game directory and open SilentPatchBully.ini.

2. Change the FPSLimit to your monitors refresh rate and enable VSync ingame to avoid any bugs.

Note: "Four missions - Weed Killer in Chapter 2, Balls of Snow in Chapter 3, The Gym Is Burning in Chapter 5, and Finding Johnny Vincent in Chapter 5 - may break or become glitched. For those missions, temporarily limit the FPS to 30."

Resolution Scaling...

The game goes full screen with only a quarter of the screen showing when changing the resolution.

This method fixed the issue for me hope it fixes for you.
1. Go to Bully game directory and open Properties of Bully.exe.
2. Switch to the Compatibility tab and select Change high DPI settings.
3. Enable Override high DPI scaling behavior and make sure Scaling performed by is set to Application then Ok and Apply.

This thread is also helpful if you got older version of windows.

Are any of these recommended for Windows 11? Thinking of trying SilentPatch even though the game hasn't displayed any issues as of now; Also I found a mod called Anniversary Edition HUD that improves hud aspects quality, for anyone that might wanna look into that.

While these crashes only exist because of Windows 10, it’s still a very good idea if you’re on an older operating system to still install SilentPatch because not only does it fix crashes, it also improves the game heavily, like the ability to change FPS, and gives proper FPS locks.

i got a question for the "repeat voice lines" bug
does it have anything to do with the fps?
like should it remain at 30 for it to not die and requiere a restart?
