Forts increase Population👨‍👩‍👦+1 and Defense🛡️+20 per level. This building can be improved by researching Defense of Forts x1.5 at the Laboratory. You can only have three Forts at the same time, which can be worked around by using the Fortress City skill tree (more explained below).

Acquiring the Mobile Fort from the skill tree allows you to Authorize Forts, freeing the land and increasing the level cap of your forts. The skill also gives you a 20% discount for the construction costs. This building is normally capped at Lv.40, but you can build up to Lv.100 if you have the skill at max level.

Temples have no upkeep while producing Food🍖, and benefit from all researches that correspond to the material currently in production.
