Functional Wind Chimes

Have you ever felt like some maps feel empty in sound? Did Someone forget to add soundscapes?


This mod adds various parts for you to create your own relaxing wind chimes in Gmod!

This Mod Includes

• 4 Variants of Chimes With 3 Types of Pitches Each
  
  
• A Custom Chime Entity That Lets You Set Your Own Pitch and More (Press E to Edit!)
  
  
• A Tool for Spawning Wind Chimes
  
  
• The rest of the required parts for a functioning wind chime (Wind Catcher, Striker, Top Piece)

Spawn some chimes, a top piece, a striker, and a wind catcher, Use the rope tool (or just right click with the wind chime spawner tool), (default rope settings work fine for me but you might find better settings for yourself), and follow the diagram:

Set ca_windpower to a number less than 5, and run ca_windrun

DISCLAIMER: This does not support Storm Fox 2 because the wind in Storm Fox 2 doesnt affect physics props.

Now you have a working Wind Chime! If you made any cool designs you can put them in the pinned discussion below.

(Collision Resizer is recommended if you want more specific piece sizes)

Use windchimes_realistic (0/1) to toggle speed checks for chime sounds to be played, default is 1
