[WIP] How to play Generals Evolution mod for Red Alert 3 [ENG]

This is a guide for Generals Evolution mod (Beta 0.32 Version) for Red Alert 3.

If you're a new player, this guide will probably help you.
In this guide I'll show you how to:

• Install Generals Evolution.
  
• Possible fixes to avoid pink glitches.
  
• Mods that are not appearing in the folder.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not the developer and I'm not part of the development team behind GenEvo, this is only a community guide based on the instructions given. I will not provide any links, you'll have to find the mod by yourself.

Make sure you do a clean install.. remove the Previous Versions of GenEvo. And use the latest one. Follow this video guide.

If you're experiencing crashes, or cannot launch and etc. :

Option 1: Reinstall the game

Option 2: Do a clean install. Delete every file from RA3 to GenEvo. And install RA3 again, including GenEvo. Make sure the file is correctly linked on your PC like this: Documents/Red Alert 3/ Mods/GenEvo.

Option 3: Verifying files. Steam Library > Red Alert 3 > Right-Click > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files.

For Option 2, you can also use Option 3 after doing a clean installation,

If you're having the official copy issue like I also did, using the GenEvoLauncher Application from the GenEVO_MostRecentLauncher folder (this was downloaded seperately I think) as the executable file got it to work for me.

I renamed the original GenEvoLauncher.exe (in the Red Alert 3\Mods\GenEvo folder) and copied the new GenEvoLauncher.exe from the GenEVO_MostRecentLauncher folder in there. Hope that helps some people :)

crashes constantly and that is after the BS i went through having it say i didn't have the official copy even though i have it through steam

maybe once they fix the buggy mess it will be fun but right now don't waste your time and sanity just play the original generals or zero hour at least it wont crash every 5 minutes

is there a discord server for GenEvo? i can get the game to launch and the C&C 4Gb fixed the pink graphic issues but selecting skirmish for my game type it insta crashes with no error message

I have the steam edition, mine will open but when I select skirmish the game will crash. Tried making a new profile but it didn't help.
