Once you get to the final zone you will need to save a new NPC. Use the first ship and stack some tendril chests to ensure you can make it there. After that in each run he will ask for items throughout your run. As long as you give him enough items over the course of the run he will build something new in town. It appears to swap between unlocking an egg (modifier) or building a new thing on the island.
Good old days, pew pew, M'lady, Ship of Fog, and Mirror. Complete a run with each of these modifiers active. Not too difficult. Fog may throw people off as planning is thrown out the window.
As it should have been, complete the island.
Fool's Gold - Using Goldie use her ability, costing 100g, to dig up a treasure chest. It took my 3.5k to dig one up, just be lucky. Can be dug up anywhere, I got mine while on the boat.
They can be grouped into two main categories, new fool challenges and new island unlocks.
Fool Challenges:
Arc Nemesis - Using Gastropaul block 20 blocks in a run. This one is super easy. Rolling charges up a shield. I easily farmed this when I only had an octopus on screen. You can also farm this on the boss fights but it is really easy to farm on lone octopus.
120 Volts - Using Eelvis shoot his electricity multiple times during one combat. I found a longer combat and stopped by autocannon from shooting and just rolled until his charge was ready, drop cannon and shoot the enemy. Useful to do on slow long combats with some predictability.
