Ever just wanted to drive at night in Forza? Maybe you want to take some awesome pictures. Maybe fun exploring at night, or maybe you just want to vibe to some music of your theme and to drive aimlessly. I'll show you how to in this guide.

Step 1: Setup
Let's setup for the drive with somethings we need to choose/change.

Firstly, let's pick the right car.

Now, you're wondering why does this matter? Well, it's important, because what we will be doing to achieve nighttime will not allow us to change our car after.

Now you can pick your own car however you like, could be your favorite, a funny car, a off-road car, whatever. But in my opinion, try to pick a car that isn't too fast, preferably anything under or B class. The reason why is (for this case nighttime). You probably wan't to appreciate the drive, if you wanted to go fast, you'd play regularly with day time. But again, you can choose whatever car you like, it's just a suggestion that you pick a car that's a B class or under. Now that you've chosen your car, we can move it to things we need to change.

Now, we need to change some in-game settings. First, navigate to the "HUD and Gameplay" tab. And Copy these settings.

Essentially, we'll be turning off every hud element in the game.

After that is done, navigate to the "Audio" tab.
This part is optional, but I feel like changing your audio allows you to listen to your music much clearly. Copy these settings if you want to change your audio.

After that, everything should be ready. Now we can move to step 2.
Step 2: The Track and Track Creation
Essentially, we will be making a track because we can choose what weather and time of day we want for the race.. And trust me, we will not be making a huge track to drive on, just follow along.

Firstly, navigate to this exact race on the map.

Next, you will create a new route.

then choose your car.

Now you'll enter the track creating phase. Essentially, you're going to drive towards the beach (Should be just going straight. If you don't know, press ESC and click "View Map"). You're going to drive for a little bit, and you're going to place 1 checkpoint, then drive a little further, and then you're going to press ESC again. And Press "Place finish line". You should end up with something looking like this.

Then you're going to click "Create new", name it, then, something should pop up, and you're going to press "Create event with this route".

You'll be brought this screen, click "Event settings".

Now, follow along the legend below to know what settings you need to change and what are to your choice.

Anything Yellow you can change to your liking.
Anything Red you NEED to change.

Finally, You're going to confirm the changes. And then you're going to click "Test Drive".

Now, we can finally move onto the the last step.
Step 3: The Drive
Now all you need to do is simple, start the race, and DO NOT GO TO THE CHECKPOINT. Drive away from it! The reason why is because if you go around it, it will Respawn your car at the checkpoint, hense why I chose this exact spot, it's one the furthest race on the edge of the map, which means driving the other way essentially will give you 90% of the map of freeroam driving!

And now you're all done! All that's left is to play music of your choice and you can enjoy Nighttime (or any time/weather you chose) driving!
How to repeat.
Now to repeat this, just go back to the race location, but don't press create this time. You're going to click "SOLO". And then you're going to click "Event Lab"

Click whatever you want after, (It really doesn't matter what you click for Theme and performance class.) And it should take you back to this screen.

But you'll notice that the track is not the same, don't worry, just click "Create/Choose Route" and pick the custom route you made.

Then change the event settings like before and you're done!
(EDIT: Thank you!)
I'm glad that I managed to (hopefully) help so many people that my guide ended up on the Guides Trending page this week!

I'm really glad that you all really enjoyed my guide and found it helpful! Thank you for taking the time for reading this, and if you wan't to make this guide get known to more people. Rating it could definitely help it get out there! You don't need to rate it however, that is entirely optional. Once again, thank you!

true, good stuff.

but there's a way easier way than this, if you like - just create an event and set "go to destination". you'll just have 15 minutes, but it's far quicker than doing anything in eventlab. it was even easier in the 4th game.

everything was, though. even signing in. no "Let's Get You Signed In" to X-Box Live. ah, well. maybe 6 will be best of all.

good post! I agree -- nighttime is the best in these games, and in the main open world they FLY by. guess people don't like driving at night or whatever. a shame. good post.

Stupid how this isn't already in the game directly from the devs.

I made an event based on this guide, 764 837 528, set up exactly like this one. Storm season, dry weather, night time.
