Hi.
Shutter is a lovely short game that is a product of graduation project from a student (or students) at ArtFx.

It's not very hard to get through alone, but I did miss a few documents on my first run so thought others may. Besides I have friends who don't like hunting through a second time for missed items, so why not.

After finishing the game, you can Continue from the Main menu so don't fret. It will load at the cafeteria. As long as you got the collectables at the start you won't miss any achievements.
Spoilers ahead!

Achievements don't show on profile?
On the right side of store pages where the features are listed you can see if a game is restricted by these metrics Steam / Valve have implemented.

A lot of sites are taking Guides on Steam to build their websites. They don't bother asking or even informing the authors. So, if this shows up on a website outside of Steam they just copied it without a second thought. To them I say, would have been kind of you to at least say you did it even if you weren't going to ask.

Hi Caluplino. If you obtained all the things mentioned above then you have everything to my knowledge. I wondered about the empty spots as well but never asked. Thought it possible more was going to get added but ran out of time before graduation.
Colluplino Jan 22, 2024 @ 2:35pm
I found the four hats that this guide features: cowbow, tray, hyena, electrician.

I also found four suits: the default blue, the pink, protection, and anomaly.

But there are still two empty hat manequins
and two empty suit manequins in the caferteria.

Any idea how to get those?
Dahl  [author] May 21, 2023 @ 10:04am
Same here first run. I included that method at the end in second mention of the achievement.
Just mentioned it sooner as i noticed the sphere my 2nd run testing the guide and it was easy enough to knock out too.

Just to make sure no one gets hung up on that first mention of it, i added a note there.
CorvusCorax May 21, 2023 @ 8:54am
For the achievement "Everything can be a ball": no need to drop anything just use the jump pad in the cafeteria. It will launch us to the lamp and our hero will automatically grab the edges and climb on top. This is how I got the achievement.
Dahl  [author] May 21, 2023 @ 8:32am
Yeah. Sorry thought I mentioned that about the camera in the section after receiving it. Will review it, but atm, as per my reply before your last two I am adding pictures at this very moment.
CorvusCorax May 21, 2023 @ 8:17am
Ah, moving the objects not only makes them bigger but it affects the distance. I managed to put the sphere on the pressure pad from the balcony. Initially, I tried to get close by jumping from the statue (there are some floating items) or in front of the door by jumping up and "releasing" the photo.

It takes some time to get used to it but I think I got it.

I understand I have to start from scratch because of the items I missed.
CorvusCorax May 21, 2023 @ 8:10am
How do I put the sphere on the pressure pad as there is no access to the top and jumping is not possible? Would you mind adding more screenshots or being more descriptive?

This is at cassette 3.
Dahl  [author] May 21, 2023 @ 8:10am
Aw. If following from the start it was quiet linear initially i thought. It was linear up to document 3, as soon as you picked up camera and walk into the next door its to your right on that desk.
Anywho, I will include some screenshots to help the visual process.
CorvusCorax May 21, 2023 @ 8:02am
Thank you but I already lost you at around document 3. I have no idea where you are for document number 4 and I've already gotten cassette number 2...
Dahl  [author] Apr 30, 2023 @ 3:43pm
Thank you, happy to know it helped. And I agree that does stink. Would be nice if you could walk back through past doors once you have finished the game.
