“SpellForce Savegame Converter/Patcher” is develop for Microsoft Windows 7.1 up to 11. The complete development is a fan project and is not related to the official game developers of SpellForce Platinium Edition. Made by NeoX and IT-Huskys have no connection to THQNordic.

How to convert/patch savegames

1. Select the savegame you want to convert/patch
Select the savegame you want to convert/patch to an other version of the game. The default location of your SpellForce savegames is “C:\Users\user_name\Documents\SpellForce\SAVE”.

2. Set the version the selected savegame has to be converted/patched to
Please play attention to the version you want it to patch to. For example the german version of SpellForce Platinum Edition is 1.52 and not 1.54 even when its normally advertised as that. Check your in game version first to be sure.

3. Convert/patch the savegame
In the conversion/patch process a backup of the loaded in savegame will be automatically created next to the original source file in case of bad configuration or process issues.
The Backup file can simply be used again by removing the “_backup” addition in the file name.

4. Enjoy the new converted/patched savegame
