Why CS:S is (and will always be) better than CS:GO
By wiktor
Counter Strike: Source (CS:S) and Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) are both popular first-person shooter games developed by Valve. While both games have a significant following, it is clear that CS:S is superior to CS:GO for various reasons. Here are six arguments as to why CS:S is (and will always be) more superior than CS:GO.

CS:S Has a More Friendly Community Compared to CS:GO
Firstly, the community in CS:S is much more friendly and welcoming compared to CS:GO. In CS:S, players are more likely to work together and communicate effectively, creating a better gaming experience. On the other hand, in CS:GO, players are more likely to be toxic, insulting and trolling one another, leading to an unpleasant gaming environment.
No Battle Royale Mode? No Problem: Why CS:S Doesn't Need One
Secondly, CS:GO has a battle royale mode called "Danger Zone," while CS:S does not. While this mode may seem like a positive addition to the game, it is not necessarily an improvement. Many players feel that the battle royale mode detracts from the core gameplay of CS:GO, which is centered around bomb planting and hostage rescuing. In contrast, CS:S focuses on its original gameplay, and players do not miss the absence of a battle royale mode.
Interactivity Matters: How CS:S Maps Are Better Than CS:GO Maps
Thirdly, the maps in CS:S are way more interactive than in CS:GO. The maps in CS:S are designed with much more detail, and players can interact with objects in the environment, such as doors, windows, and furniture. This level of interactivity adds an extra layer of depth to the gameplay, making it more immersive and enjoyable. In contrast, the maps in CS:GO are more static, and players cannot interact with objects in the environment as much.
The Movement Mechanics in CS:S are superior to CS:GO
Fourthly, the movement mechanics in CS:S are more fluid and natural. The movement of characters in CS:S feels more natural and fluid, making it way more fun for players to move around the map and dodge enemy fire. In contrast, the movement mechanics in CS:GO can feel less fluid and less natural.
CS:S Has Better Weapon Recoil and Accuracy Mechanics
Fifthly, the weapon mechanics in CS:S are more realistic and satisfying. The recoil and spread of weapons in CS:S are more realistic, making it more satisfying to land shots on opponents. In contrast, the weapon mechanics in CS:GO can feel less realistic, leading to less satisfying gameplay experiences.
Realism isn't necessary: How CS:S Graphics are better than CS:GO's
While it may be argued that the graphics in CS:GO are more realistic than those in CS:S, there is a certain timelessness to the graphics of CS:S that have stood the test of time. This is why it is still visually appealing and doesn't require an update even after almost two decades since its release. The graphics in CS:S are not only detailed but also have a unique style that sets it apart from other games in the genre. The use of color and lighting is more impactful, making the environments more immersive and memorable. The game's textures, models, and animations are still impressive by today's standards, even though they are not as realistic as those in CS:GO.

I would like to address certain people within these comments that are making some potentially disrespectful statements. I have not played either game yet (I am waiting for it to download), so I do not know what either game is like.

I am noticing that some people here are attempting to counter the claim that the writer of this guide made, and that is alright. However, I am also noticing that some of the people here are speaking their mind in ways that could possibly come off as rude. My only request is that those who fall under that category be careful when they choose to communicate in such a way as they did.

I apologize if this comment provokes anyone. I do not intend to offend people by saying this.
