Busting LVL

Busting Level is the main method of determining the reward you obtain upon successful deletion of the enemy in the Mega Man Battle Network series. Higher level equals better rewards, so players will want to shoot for the highest ranking possible, unless they seek specific rewards from a lower level. These rewards can be changed in games with the Navi Customizer to bypass busting level drop requirements.

Busting LVL

Scoring over 10 points is considered as Busting Lv. S.

Story Battles
Mega Man Battle Network 1 to 5
This is how your Busting LV. is determined in Battle Network 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Virus Delete Time This will be your starting marker after finishing a Virus battle.

Delete time Points
0:00:00 ~ 0:05:00 7
0:05:01 ~ 0:12:00 6
0:12:01 ~ 0:36:00 5
0:36:01 ~ 9:59:59 4
Navi Delete Time This will be your starting marker after finishing a Navi battle.

Navi Delete time Points

0:30:01 ~ 0:40:00 8
0:40:01 ~ 0:50:00 6
0:50:01 ~ 9:59:59 4

Aback Every time your Navi is hit and flinches aback, points are deducted. Having the "Super Armor" Program will prevent point deduction from non-status attacks.

Multiple Deletions Deleting a number of enemies in a short period will increased your score.

Movement If your Navi moves a certain amount of time, points will be deducted.

Mega Man Battle Network 3
In Battle Network 3, in addition to the previous scoring methods, being in Custom Style or Team Style will affect your reward.

Custom Style:
Busting LV. S+: Scoring a Busting LV. S in a Virus battle with a Delete Time of less than 5 seconds without using your Buster, the ChargeShot PowerAttack, or Navi chips, will get you an exclusive reward.
Busting LV. S++: Same conditions as above, but if you do this without re-opening the Custom Screen, a different exclusive reward can be obtained.
Team Style: Scoring Busting LV. S in a β (Beta) version Navi battle and have the Delete Time under 20 seconds will get you their V4 Navi Chip.
