Intro

Hey, thanks for stopping by. ModTool codes and Extra codes can be entered at the end of editing your NaviCust. If an error has occurred after customization, you can enter a short code to fix the error and finalize your settings by pressing ZR or ZL. Extra can be entered in the same way at the end of customization only if no errors occurred and can give you some strong bonuses, such as +500HP, sometimes at the cost of a bug.

do remember if you change button layout (like i did) youned to adjust inputs accordingly(so in my case X instead of B XD)

My bad lol, following up - while highlighting the program on the rightside menu, before attempting to place it, hold whatever button or key isn't emulating A, B, R, or L and then code in, keeping the OG gameboy buttons in mind.

For example, on an Xbox controller, the command to compress Custom1 is:
[holding right or left trigger] up X X down A RBumper.

Or, in controller agnostic terms,
'up (cancel key) (cancel key) down (confirm key) (key that jacks in)'.

ZR and ZL don't allow compression, unless I'm doing something -very- wrong compared to the OG GBA method. Might need testing. (also, aren't those Switch buttons?)

Since Select is used for the Legacy Collection menu, I believe ZR and ZL are held while inputting codes instead. I will updated the guide to include this now.

Has anyone managed to get compression codes working? I can't get it to let me input them whatsoever.
