Nesting Grounds
Nesting grounds are areas of the map that lower the time it takes to incubate eggs, Atm i don't know any of the other effects, if any. Although I personally don't use them due to how open they are and prefer to use more hidden areas since nesting grounds don't even have shrubbery to hide eggs let alone grass, being very open and hard to defend

At the moment, there are only 3 nesting locations on the map, More or less in each corner of the map (except northwest). The first being the northeastern nesting grounds, which you probably weren't aware even existed as northeast is a very uncommonly visited area
-417,-183

The second nesting grounds is the very well known Southern Nesting Grounds. It's located west of south rivers head and is very easy to find (it also has a wallowing spot VERY closeby)
-171,-628

The final nesting grounds are located in swamp a little ways southwest of the dam. It is also the substantially largest of the nesting grounds, covering ALOT Of Ground
-23,-233
Salt Licks
Salt licks (possibly one of the most underused mechanics in the game) Are very strewn out and more often than not, people have seen them but not even known it. salt licks are white, often with large swaths of pink, rocks located around the map. when you interact with these rocks they can cure vomit sickness, which can be applied by ceras or over-eating. the salt licks do not cure cannibalism debuff or food poisoning from eating rotten food

This salt lick is located inbetween South and Swamp, if you follow the treeline it is very easy to find
-155,-380

This salt lick is far southwest, inbetween the human building and port
-271,-704

This salt lick is around the north west area, and can be found slightly south bordering the second river from the main hotspot of northwest
-349,-612

this salt lick is a little east of northwest as long as your in northwest the coordinates can do the work
-519,-432

This salt lick is not far north of the main northwest hotspot, bordering the treeline
-531,-628

This salt lick is located along the far northeastern river
-526,-160

This salt lick is in a very strange location, it is very impractical to use and is probably the least visited salt lick, this salt lick is located around the center of east, inbetween northeast and southeast, the best way to find it is either to go straight north from the mouth of the southeastern river where it meets swamp, or to go south from the last bend of the northeastern river
-302,-152

This salt lick is located in swamp and is straight south of the human building located in south, you can see the salt lick from the human building
-140,-112

This salt lick is located in the dried ravine, the strange looking path that goes right where center ends and northwest begins
-401,-326
Wallowing Holes
Wallowing holes for a while, we're strange and not really usefull for much. now they seem to be actually fixed. after you wallow any scents you give off, like blood and footprints. will not be given off as long as you have mud, while standing, running etc. the bleed rate you'd normally have is decreased. something good of note though, if you sit after you wallow ALL bleeding will be stopped. and very quickly the bleed will heal. if you get up before its in the healing state, bleeding will resume

Good ol' oasis, whats left of it anyways. What used to be the only water source not connected to a river (ignoring the coastal puddle) is now the largest notable wallowing hole it is located around south in the open, you'll find it
-184,-438

This wallowing hole is located by south nesting grounds, very hard to miss
-163,-618

This wallowing hole is located along the west coast around the southwestern corner of the map and works as a surprsingly good bridge between the inland and beach via the cave it directly borders
-182,-768

This wallowing hole is at the northwestern river, not the hotspot one, the one slightly more west with the arch, the wallowing hole can be found bordering the river
-381,-720

This wallowing hole can be found where center river ends and turns into the northwestern river, it borders the treeline
-461,-473

This wallowing hole is located (in a cave?) in the large ridge of rocks at center, the rocks form a kind of cove which the wallowing hole sits in, whether you call this a cave is up to you. it is located in dense forest but is easiest to find by crossing center river (where it meets with 3 channels) and traversing into the woods to find it
-335,-507

This wallowing hole is located in northeast not very far from the northeastern salt lick and also borders the river
-474,-166

This wallowing hole is located smack dab in the middle of swamp, easy to find around where the river meets with the main swamp
-144,-167

This wallowing hole is located around the back of swamp, bordering those large rock formations
-182,-81

This wallowing hole can be found by following the large path, yknow the one that cuts through swamp? and taking the second left turn
-111,-100
Human Structures
Ah yes the human structures, these large, almost alien structures can be found all around. they're absolutely useless but are still pretty fun to look around in and explore.(and if your small enough serve as somewhere to hide from bigger predators

Starting with the largest (and most unfinished) human structure, port. Port is located around the southwestern corner of the island bordering the coast
-283,-812

This building is located around south a little ways from southern nesting grounds, going northwest should find the building, The building does not have an interior but does have a fence that surrounds it which you can go in as well as several cargo crates
-240,-692

Classic radio tower, finding your way up here is a difficult task, i recommend heading east from south along the treeline, plunge into the woods and make your way uphill at your own risk, the radio tower does have a built in path but it only extends mayb halfway down the mountain, if you suddenly find an abundant amount of mud or plain dirt texture that appears to go in a path, follow it up
-57,-513

Drainage pipe. idk what else there is to say, located in northwest this drainage pipe is the source of the popular hotspots river, kind of poetic such a place as the northwest hotspot is fueled by a glorified ♥♥♥♥ fountain
-430,-668

Outpost, a small human structure surrounded by a fence, you cannot enter the structure only the fence. Its located around that central east area that salt lick is, just head in that direction and use the coordinates provided to narrow it down
-292,-98

This building is one of the few with an interior, its located at swamp and can be found by taking the first left on the path at swamp, not the one that goes from south to swamp, the path that starts in swamp and goes out of the map. Go left past the little water source into the woods and you'll find not even 50 feet in
-156,-115

THE DAM, a very popular spot at swamp, its size makes it obvious, just follow the swamps edge you'll find it
-81,-140

Broom closet. This small structure is absolutely tiny, a cargo crate is more spacious than this i bet, go straight south of the dam, its in the forest so you might have some trouble spotting it but you'll find it eventually, it even has an interior
-14,-117
Rock Structures/Caves
Beach Hole, this small cove is located on the west coast and is most accessible by making your way down to the coast and then heading left, you may have to swim a bit but its not that bad
-98,-682

Beach Cave, this tiny cave is located to the right of the little path that takes you to the beach and can be found in the cliif bordering the beach, close by to the beach
-152,-698

Beach Cove, Possibly the largest cave (thats accessible) at beach, going left once you use the path that takes you to beach puddle you will eventually find it. It even has a path up to the mainland with a wallowing spot at the top
-173,-771

Ridge Caves, These caves border the large ridge that travels along where south river becomes center river, the best way to get to them is to cross the river in the open plains area at south, you know the one, the one with little path. and go straight right. it can be a little turbulent and has a few falls that could cause a leg fracture but you should be fine, its alot of small caves so pick whichever one you want if your nesting, beware though. one of the caves has a small hole in its side that leads deeper into a crevice. you may be able to escape as a hypsi but anything else will be stuck. the opening is tiny though so unless your a small juvi utah or smthn no need to fear
-222,-520

Stalactite cave, a small cave not far from the ridge caves cluster, it even has one decoratory stalactite
best way to get here is the same path to get to ridge caves but keep going past them
-235,-525

River cave, this small cave can be accessed either by water, so it is very croc friendly or by land, you'll need to be on the west side of the river to find its land opening though
-258,-511

Monument, idk why i named it monument its just a huge hollow collection of massive rocks, you know the one its around center and is one of the tallest rock structures, i'd call it a cave but its more like a bunch of rocks stacked ontop of eachother with a hollow center and some branching paths, it also has a wallowing hole in it
-341,-507

Archway, Not the archway over the river in center, this archway is located in the northwest area and has quite a shallow river to it, its also home to one of the tallest waterfalls you can find, not counting the falls that stem from south mountain
-357,-719

This rock structure is located in northwest and can be found by going north into the forest, its kinda hard to find, i've heard it be called jungle gym due to its strange structure but tbh idk what it is
-587,-574

Northwest cave, a small "cave" in the northwest area not far from the jungle gym rock formation
just head into the trees north of northwest and you'll reach it
-558,-561

Gulley, this large ravine used to be filled with water, now its completely dry and only serves as a path between northwest and northeast, still a cool location to visit, go to the end of center river and instead of going left to northwest go right and follow the path, you'll be in the gulley in no time
-399,-353

Collection: a collection of rocks of varying sizes, this location can be found northeast not far from the gulley, a neat spot especially for nesting
-422,-262

Beach Arena: a large rock structure shaped like an arena, you can stand on the rocks above or take a small path down into the sinkhole like structure, which opens out into the coast
-487,-262

Tripod rock thingy, this rock structure is located in central east not far from the little central east building just head straight north from southeast and you should find it, its at a high elevation but its an easy mountain to climb
-317,-80

Crossroads, has a small rock formation but is a summation of a few paths, pretty cool spot use the overhead screenshot to get there and the coordinates, you can figure it out
-326,-244
(Overhead view of the branching paths)

Tar cave, this cave is inaccessible without using spectator mode but the sounds of the tar can be heard from the outside and you can find some painted tribal stuff on both the inside and outside, touching the tar doesn't do anything if you do tp in. it also has a cool hollow log that i don't think is used anywhere else. You can find it by going west of the dam, its a little densely covered by forest but you'll probably hear it before you see it
-66,-230

Sinkhole, this large area can be accessed from the bottom by a small entrance but also can be viewed from the top as a large cavernous hole, fun fact this hole is so deep it almost hits the water under the map
-54,-192

Swamp cave, the most cave-like of the caves, its unfortunately also inaccessible without admin powers But extends far enough to almost meet with the sinkhole, infact this may have been planned, as where the swamp cave ends a large section of dirt underlies it which makes a large square connected to the sinkhole under the ground
-69,-168

Flooded cave, this large cave is partially flooded by the winding channels of the eastern side of swamp and is really only accessible by deinos. cool spot to visit
-132,-87
Other Areas Of Interest
A small pond at the back of radio tower, you can find it at the bottom of the mountain on the opposite side of where you usually are so gl getting to it, the best way is to try and go west to get around the mountain then go back east once you've gotten around it, you can smell it as a water source
-32,-554

Beach puddle, a small puddle at beach easy to find if you just go right when you take the beach path, its even drinkable
-147,-713
Final Notes
And That Should Be Just About Everything! (This Is How I Normally Type But I Felt People May Find The Locations And Stuff Easier To Read If I Kept It Lowercase) I May Do Plant Locations For Their General Areas But Not Only Are Plant Locations very Random And Strange Atm But At The Same Time Thats ALOT More Effort For Plants, If Enough People Do It I Might But I'd Personally Wait Until Gateway Comes Out To Do All That While its Fresh. If You Yourself Have Found Any Locations You Think Should Be In Here Do Tell Me in The Comments! I'll Be Sure To Give Credit To Fellow Location Hunters

The Screenshot Is For Coordinates In The Upper Corner. Although Tbh It Actually Would Probably Be Easier On The Vulnona Map, I'll Start Working On That
Superbius Aug 23, 2023 @ 8:10pm
Would be great if you could point them out in the map instead of an screenshot 90% blocked by the character window.

Shallows No Longer Exists. You Can Find Its Remains By Going Down The Gulley, Infact Shallows Was The Very Shallow River That Lead Into Gulley, Which Has Now Been Reduced To A Path More Or Less
