Around a corner after the corrosive gas conveyor:

From the start of the chapter, go straight and reach a dead end with a Encyclopedia entry:



Hidden behind a corner before riding the magma mixer is a button to open a secret area:



Behind the newly-opened door on the catwalk is Maurice, a unique enemy you'll have to kill for Encyclopedia completion.

Chapter 6 - Off A Rail

The start of this chapter is your only opportunity in the game to kill a Jetbird, which is required for Encyclopedia completion.

Chapter 8 - Nyx

Instead of entering the cave, go in the opposite direction and find an Encyclopedia entry in a dead end:

Load up chapter 7 from the level select screen and kill the JetBird at the start of the level. It's the only one in the game.

@HUDcats is correct. You don't have to kill him to get the entry; you are supposed to automatically get the entry when he appears on the screen in Chapter 4.

great guide but i am personally missing the entry for officer 13, does anyone remember where that one is? i've done every single one aside from him
