RE4 Professional S+ Speedrun Guide

A comedic and unoptomized guide showcasing how the average gamer can still earn their S+ Rank on Professional.

Breif Disclaimer

This guide was made with very little experience and practice. I played the game over the course of a couple weeks doing multiple runs and taking long breaks in between.

Professional mode is quite difficult if you don't practice a lot so I figure I'd make a guide just showing how you can make a lot of mistakes and still make it through.

The guide utilizes a few normal skips but it also includes one of the sniper glitch skips at the first double door, but it hardly matters. The first Garridor part only takes about 5 minutes of time and I finished the run with 30 minutes to spare.

I pick up a lot of treasures and avoid a lot of the really dangerous side quests. I utilize all 15 saves in a very fair manner, the most you'll have to do is run through about a Chapter and a half without saving.

I use the infinite Chicago Sweeper to run through about 60% of the game and I kill Salazar with a Golden Egg and use a Rocket Launcher on Saddler, just to give you some perspective of what to expect.

NSFW: I use a lot of profanity and also rage vent in this video a lot so if you're easily offended, take a hike.

REMEMBER: It's an every man's guide, I didn't make it with the intention of being critized for how garbage I am at certain parts of the game. I did it to show you can make mistakes and still make it through. Some sections are better than others, give it a look, I tried to spice it up with some comedic content for the first 75% of the video.

I also miss 2 very easily found Rhino Beetles, the one in the castle near the fountain and the one at the second Krauser fight, so make sure to check out the guide to where those are located if you want an extra 20K or extended health boosts.

Please note this only works on NG and not NG+.

The game is programmed to cap your rank at S on any subsequent playthroughs. You'll still have to endure beating the game with bare bones nothing. You will however be able to take your time and collect items, as well as save as many times as you feel like. It's a great way to practice sections of the game until you nail them perfectly and are happy with the results.

Combine this with a trainer[flingtrainer.com] / other mods and you can basically just blast your way to the S+ rank without incident. If I would have known about this before attempting the run, I wouldn't have even bothered wasting my time / energy on it.
