Kobold's Treasure Event Guide: Ruanok, the Broodlord (i.e. How to get Frenzied Bunnies)

Guide on how to complete the Easter Event, defeat Ruanok and get the 3 hidden achievements and Seasonal skills (Easter Eggs and bunnies)
Now including spoiler-free hints!

Intro

This is currently the simplest event yet, so I don't really know why you would need a guide, but here it is if you want it

Kobold's Treasure Event: 06 Apr - 16 Apr
Find the forgotten prisoner and reveal his secret! Challenge will be permanently available in-game.

Q. What map do I go?

H. You kinda need to find a place with lots of crystals
A. The Second Map, the Caves of Dhal Zhog

Q. What do I do on the map?

H. Walk around the map, you have 2 minutes before the event is null
A. You should find a cage with a lil guy trapped inside it

Q. I destroyed it, what now?

H. Wait for something else to spawn
A. Crystal eggs will spawn randomly on the map

Q. I collected 8 eggs! What now?

H. Deliver them to lil guy
A. You have a deliver a lot

Map: The Caves of Dhal Zhog

Enter The Caves of Dhal Zhog (Map 2) at any Curse Intensity (or if you want to do this once, just Intensity 34+, see Medium and Hard)

To unlock this map, defeat a Boss from Map 1

Kobold, the Forgotten Prisoner

Free Kobold at around the top left of the map Caves of Dhal Zhog, after that there will be a sigil on the ground
You have 2 minutes to free him before the event fails to start, which you would have to restart the map to start it again

Crystal Eggs

Crystal eggs will now spawn randomly around the map (They do not show up on the minimap)
Touch them to pick them up
You can hold up to 8 eggs but you can deliver any number at once
Deliver 50 eggs to the sigil, this should take you at least 7 delivers
When you're done, there will be a giant egg and the sigil disappears

Ruanok, the Broodlord

Finish the run and go back to Kobold
Enter the portal and kill Ruanok, the Broodlord to complete the event

Tips

Use Dashes! You can still Dash while holding the Eggs which make you move really slow
Dash Mastery would be a good idea as well as using Sentinel or Assassin
Do NOT use Death Knight unless you're a masochist

Any number of eggs can be turned in and they add up, sometimes it's safer to just grab 2 eggs so you can still run quickly!

Medium and Hard

Same as the previous event, there are 2 other secret skills and achievements, in which you would need to do the same thing but with Curse Intensities 25+ and 34+ respectively

Doing 34+ first will give you all 3 achievements at once, and doing 25+ first will give you the bottom 2

Any Curses work as long as you hit the threshold

Q. Is the event limited?

No, it's permanent

Q. Can I do the event on Endless?

A. No, the heart crystal only spawn if your selected map is The Caves of Dhal Zhog, if you go into that map using a portal (ie from Endless) it will not spawn

Q. Can I go to Endless from Ruanok?

A. You get to use both portals after defeating Ruanok regardless of whatever time you completed the map or defeated Ruanok

You can defeat Ruanok in any time and still use them even if the total time exceeds 13/14 minutes

After doing it a fifth time the portal did in show up and I was able to kill Ruanok. I counted and turned in 50 eggs exactly but other than that I have no idea what was different. Probably just a bug that the portal does not open at the end of the match occasionally.

uhmm i have same problem as @quirkyPaladin i've done it multiple times now and portal wont spawn when all the lords are dead only the 3 portals in middle of room will spawn. I even made sure to look for the big egg that spawned when all eggs are turned in yet i still didnt get a portal at the end....

It did show up for me, and there is no time limit, u need to finish the map first (defeat all 5 Lord waves)

@QuirkyPaladin I'm gonna test this but I believe the portals are currently bugged to not show up visually , but they are still there

I collect 50 eggs, turn them all in, egg disappears, no more eggs on the map spawn, and the portal just does not appear. I have done this three times now with different characters at 36 curse. Is there a time limit? Do you have to turn in 50 eggs exactly or something?

Just done it now and is abit easier now. Dont have to run, eggs spawn after 2min mark, then you just need to grab them while do the map. I finish my mission at 12min mark with 41 curse intensity, then just finish the 20 boss then went to final one. Really easy dont need to run. Thx for the guide!

Chaos golems made it a breeze for me to collect the eggs (and destroy pillars) while they were keeping the final three bosses busy.

you don't need specifically C5, you need 34 curse, if you have unlocked C6, you can remove one house of lords and overwhelming corruption which are the deadliest ones, and take everything except overwhelming corruption in C6, it makes it a lot easier imo.
also I'd suggest using one of the characters that has +1 dash.
