От GageMP5
In this guide you will learn how to make textures for RUST, using only the tools in Blender, The textures you use will be completely up to you, and Textures.com has many to choose from. (MAKE SURE YOU PUT IN THE DESCRIPTION that you used their textures, otherwise your skins could be flagged, or even taken down. A texture IS an asset. Don't steal assets. Get permission. OR make your own)

Introduction
This Guide will teach you how to make RUST skins 100% in Blender. The textures however are up to you and make sure they ARE YOURS or you have permission from the creator. (Textures dot com and other sites require you to put in a disclaimer that you used their textures. For this tutorial I will be using my own that I made in Texture LAB, another free to use program.

Why Blender?
Blender is Free, and now is pretty powerful. Their tools are also pretty easy to grasp the concepts for the creation of Rust Skins.

What makes up a Rust Skin?
Rust skins are like wall paper on an object that are "wrapped" around the Model. These are called Maps.

What are maps?
Maps make up Material in Unity (The engine that powers RUST). You have a Diffuse Map and Normal Map in almost EVERY rust skin, but some have Specular and AO As well as "Emission" maps; an Emission map will make your model glow.

So what do I need?
Blender, And a copy of RUST.
