Fix crashing/hanging during video playback and enable hidden x4 anti-aliasing

Some people may experience crashing or hanging during video segments at the startup or in-game. Here how you fix it. Also, I will show you how to enable hidden x4 anti-aliasing.

Fix crashing/hanging during video playback

The most frequent problem is a compatibility issue with LAV filters bundled together with K-Lite Codec Pack. Steps to fix them:

• Go to K-Lite Codec Pack website[codecguide.com] and download the latest version.
  
• Delete the old one if you already have it.
  
• Select "Install codecs only for MPC-HC" checkbox during fresh install.
  
  
• Done!

Now, videos in game would not interfere with LAV filters and should work just fine.

Enable hidden x4 AA

For some reason the devs decided not to include the option to turn on AA in the configuration tool while the engine supports up to x4 AA. Let's do it manually:

• Navigate to "C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\FALCOM". The path will be hidden, so make sure to enable "hidden items" in the file explorer; other possible locations:
  - C:\Users\YourUserName\Saved Games\FALCOM;
  - "SAVE" folder in the root directory of your game;
  
• There you will find a few folders: ED6 for Trails FC, ED_SORA2 for Trails SC and ED_SORA3 for Trails the 3rd.
  
  Each folder will contain a config file.
  Open it in any text editor;
  
• Look for "FullAntiAlias" option under "Video" section and change it to 4. This is the maximum value supported by the engine.
  
  
• Save the changes. Congrats, it's done!

@wave, weird. In my installation those files are located in two different places but only one of them actually works if you edit it, so make sure that the changes you make are applied and working.

For me it's under steamapps\common\Trails in the Sky SC\SAVE
Might be because I have it on a different drive

Can't find the FALCOM or ED_SORA2 folders for SC even though I have it installed (and works fine). Hidden items are also enables
