Requires the "InfMap - Infinite Map Base" listed in requirements

This time i've managed to port the tutorial area from jak and daxter, a ps2 game, rn only the ground has collisions, i'm still trying to optimize the walls

I've also been unable to export some of the models that this map uses, the large iris door frame and pillars that you can jump on, also no working water yet

If you experience crashing while loading into the map, try loading the map on the x86-64 beta, if that doesn't work do the usual addon conflict check, start the map with no other addons enabled, and ofc if you run into any other issues, check the infmap base addon, your issue might have been solved there


Huge thanks to OpenGoal and their people for porting jak and daxter to pc, i cannot wait to get my hands on jak 2

you got 2 ways, infmap obj loader method or converting the models to .mdl, depending on which you want to use, infmap obj loader is faster but it also means the map will be forced to be loaded using infmap base, if you want to do that start by importing the map models to blender, export to obj and make sure the texture paths in the .mtl file don't have paths, just file names, then check how infmap obj loader works

would you mind pointing me in the direction of where to start with porting Jak Levels? I'm really interested in attempting to port Mountain Temple or Haven Forest

I hope this gets a bit more lively soon, since a lot of Jak and Daxter related stuff, especially the maps were uploaded in Models Resource.
