The keypad found in the Abyss map and what it does

Where is the keypad?

Due to my last guide on the Sea map being so popular, I decided to make a walkthrough for the Abyss keypad.

The keypad is found at the right corner of the map.

The Keypad

Numbers can be inputted by clicking on the buttons, these buttons are not labeled and are laid out like a phone keypad. This is the layout:

The code for the keypad is: 62831853071795

When successful, "modulo2.jpg" will be displayed:

When the code is successfully inputted, the game downloads a file named modulo2.jpg presumably from Studio Minus's website (explaining why the error "This puzzle requires an internet connection" appears when studiominus.nl cannot be contacted for some reason).

This file is downloaded, by default, to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\People Playground\

on Windows

With the file in its current state, it cannot be viewed in a picture viewer.

When looked at in a file hex editor, each byte seems to be duplicated, noticeably with JFIF being JJFFIIFF.

With this tiny Python script I threw together when I first looked into this, the image can be "decoded" by removing every other byte.

The "decoded" image appears to be a guide in Dutch for the "Inverse Teleportation" contraption that is required for the achievement of the same name.









What is required for the contraption is quite simpler
