Resident Evil 4 Remake PC Full Version tested on AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti.

Greetings, everyone.
 
Today we’re checking out the full release version of RE 4 Remake, on my usual system, with the following specs:

-CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 (stock settings) with Coolermaster Hyper 212 Black RGB (w/2 fans, push-pull).
-Mobo: MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC.
-GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC and WHQL driver 531.41.
-RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT (2x8GB) CL16 DDR4@3200 Mhz.
-Storage: PNY XLR8 CS3030 1TB NVMe (O.S. and game), Samsung 750 EVO 500 GB.
-Case: Fractal Design Meshify S2 (Intake: 2x140 Front, 1x120 Lower Front - Exhaust: 1x140 Rear, 1x120 Top/VRM Area).
-PSU: Corsair RMx 650W 80+ Gold.
-O.S: Windows 10 Pro 64bit (v.22H2).
-Monitor: AOC AGON AG251FG 1080p-240Hz.
-ReBAR and HAGS OFF
-DSR uses 33% Smoothing

After having tested the Demo (video here: https://youtu.be/sL7nT6JumcE), here we have the full release version of the game, where I try to focus on testing stuff I was hoping to see improved, from the Demo, to this release.

Namely AMD’s Fidelity Super Resolution 2.2, or FSR 2.2, which is used in this game, and the obvious and hard to ignore Temporal Shimmering that we saw in the Demo.
Sadly, I have to say this is still happening in the full release, and in the video I compare it against No Upscaling at all, and Interlaced Rendering, with various degrees of visual quality results, depending on the scene…there’s not a clear winner here, I’m afraid.

Surprisingly, my game is running between 10 and 15% faster, FPS wise, than the Demo, probably it is better optimized and/or the Nvidia Gameready driver has improved things, you never know.

All in all, I think the video speaks for itself, in what I show and, despite these small visual issues, I’m very much enjoying this game, quite likely one of Capcom’s best games ever, I have no doubts.
