British Rail Class 302/AM2

The British Rail class 302 (originally known as AM2) was a type of electric multiple unit (EMU) introduced between 1958 and 1960 for outer suburban passenger services on the London, Tilbury and Southend (LTS) line. During their lifetime these units were common sights on the LTS and Great Eastern mainline. During the late 80's several units were reduced to 3-cars and converted for use as Electric Parcels Units (EPUs). All members of the class were withdrawn by 1998.

This model is mainly derived from the Green Ranger (aka Gr1m)’s Generic Coaches V2 mod with a new 302 cab stuck on the front. It therefore was not made using a Mk1 bodyshell but it is a decent representation of the class 302. The pantograph mesh was recycled from cw_315’s class 86. Massive thanks to Green Ranger (aka Gr1m) and cw_315 for allowing me to use their meshes and textures within this mod.
