How to get your PC saves onto your phone

This guide will teach you how to put PC terraria saves onto your android phone!

Getting your save

Your saved games will be located in C:/*username*/Documents/My Games/Terraria and it will have 2 folders that you should copy, circled in red.

Importing your save

Plug your phone into your computer using a USB cable with data transferring support. Make sure file transfer is enabled in settings.


Now on your PC open file explorer and go to your phone, which should be in the sidebar, then Internal Shared Storage, Android, Data, com.and.games505.TerrariaPaid, and copy your 'Worlds' and 'Players' folders.

Checking the game

Open the terraria app, press single player, and if you did it correctly you should see your save from your PC!

Notes

You can't copy resource packs, because they are not supported in the mobile version.
You can do the opposite of this, by copying the mobile saves to the PC save path.
I don't know if you can do the same for iOS, if you can the paths you copy your save to will be different.

I'm in the same boat Ricky. I just bought the game on android, thinking it would be easy to move my game saves over from my iPhone. Apparently not. Im not sure how it's impossible on android but super easy on iOS... Definitely is pretty frustrating

unfortunately on newer android versions(like android 12 and newer), the data folder is not writable and in some cases not readable either. I did use a program using ADB to move the files over but while i can see my player and worlds, i found that when in the world and i try to save and exit, it just sits there trying to save the world. Turns out that my player and worlds are read only even to the game. If i create a new player and load into my existing world, i cant save and quit. And if I create a new world and use my existing player, i cant save and quit either. The only thing that seems to work is if i create a new player and a new world. Only when using both of those can i then save and quit. So frustrating. I hope a fix comes out sometime soon
