How to get PAID FAST in PVZ

Are you in need of GOLD but can't bother with going through all that hassle for a measly turnout of 500 coins per level? Well, if you read this guide, I can show you the secrets of GOLD FARMING.

Preperation

I have gotten this strategy from this user on youtube a while back.

This video was published almost 13 years ago, and the quality is terrible, so I'm here to dumb it down for you. This method is pretty much automatic, and the bare minimums to run this setup are as follows:


9 SEED PACKET SLOTS OR MORE


LAST STAND MINI-GAME UNLOCKED


Lily Pads. (Obvious reasons.)


Coffee Beans. (These will wake up the Fume-Shrooms that we will be using in our setup.)


Marigolds. (These will be the main source of income.)


Fume-Shrooms. (These will be used to transform into Gloom-Shrooms.)


Gloom-Shroom Upgrade packet. (These will be our main source of offense for this setup.)


Magnet-Shrooms. (These will be used to transform into Gold Magnet-Shrooms to auto collect the money that the marigolds drop, essentially making this build automatic.)


Gold Magent-Shroom Upgrade Packet. (These will be used on the Magnet Shrooms.)


Garlic. (Used to change the zombies into the lanes that benefit this setup most.)


And finally, Our pumpkins. (These will be placed over certain plants.)


And if you have the 10 Seed Slot Packet Upgrade, just pick a random Bogus plant. (I chose the Cherry Bomb)

Execution

Now that you have everything you need, lets get started with the setup.


STEP 1

Open up Plants Vs Zombies and make your way into the Mini-games collection and click on Last Stand.








STEP 2

Choose your plants.


The ones we will need in this setup are:


Lily Pads


Coffee Beans


Magnet-Shrooms


Gold Magnet-Shrooms


Marigolds


Fume-Shrooms


Gloom-Shrooms


Garlic


And Pumpkins.

(Note: If you have the 10 Seed Slot Upgrade, Just choose a random plant. Doesn't matter which, just choose one. For example, I chose the Cherry Bomb.)





STEP 3

Place your Lily pads. Make sure to get 12 Lily pads on the very left slots of the pool. Like the image below.





STEP 4

Place your Garlics. Place one garlic each on each side of the pool in these positions below.





STEP 5

Place 3 Fume-Shrooms behind each of the Garlic, and then wake them up using the Coffee Bean.





STEP 6

Plant the Gloom-Shroom Upgrade Packets onto your Awake Fume-Shrooms.





STEP 7

Place 1 Magnet-Shroom behind each row of the Gloom-Shrooms you previously made. Then, Plant the Gold Magnet-Shroom Upgrade Packets onto both of them. (Note: Do NOT plant a Coffee Bean onto the Magnet-Shroom and THEN Place the Gold Magnet-Shroom Upgrade packet onto them. When the Gold Magnet-Shroom Upgrade Packet is placed onto a sleeping Magnet-Shroom, It already wakes up the asleep Magnet-Shroom and turns into an awake Gold Magnet-Shroom.)





STEP 8

Place your pumpkins in these spots exactly. THESE ARE IMPORTANT.





STEP 9

After placing these pumpkins, Place and fill up the rest of the space with Marigolds. Now, place a pumpkin around one of the two spots that I circled in the picture below. The reasoning for this is to deter Dolphin Riding Zombies jumping past your first pair of defended Marigolds and eating the rest of the ones behind it.





Now, If you did all the steps correctly, you should have a setup that looks like this.





This setup in total has 32 Marigolds, and two Gold Magnet-Shrooms that do the picking up for you. You can go AFK while the Gold Magnet-Shrooms pick up all your goodies for you!

How to Manage and take care of this setup while in play

Now the first step of advice to taking care of this setup effectively and getting the most out of it, is to change out the Garlic every single wave, and replant them. If you don't replace the garlic every wave, make sure you have enough sun to change them out in the middle of a wave if needed. (Note: In most cases, you don't have to change out the garlic after the very first wave. It can last until Wave 2.)





Waiting to change the garlic until wave 2 comes with Benefits of having extra sun to place more Pumpkins for defense, especially in the later rounds against the All-Star Zombies. After you finish defending the Marigolds behind the Marigolds in the frontlines of the pool, Move onto protecting the Marigolds on the sides of the pool behind the Marigolds you protected already. (Confusing, I know.)





It is to be noted, If one of your pumpkins that is protecting a marigold is close to its end of durability, prioritize fixing and mending that pumpkin before anything else. (Note: besides replacing garlic. Garlic replacements should be your number one priority handling this setup. Second priority is mending pumpkins. Third priority is defending more Marigolds or fixing up holes in the setup.)


THIS SETUP EFFECTIVELY LETS YOU AFK FARM GOLD WHILE DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! It earns to around 10K ish every cycle you go for, but it is to be taken to your attention, this setup starts to buckle and fold nearing Wave 3 and 4 due to the huge quantities and pressure of the zombies, so if your setup starts to fail in the middle of Wave 4, don't sweat it! Just restart and do it allll over again. B)
