Red Beans (and Store)

Red Beans are an in-game currency that you can acquire directly from Red5, or in the marketplace. They serve several purposes in game, such as unlocking advance battleframes, cosmetics, and convenience items or services.

1 - Where to acquire Red Beans?

You can aquire Red Beans on the Firefall website or on the Marketplace.

1a - Firefall Website

The first place to get Red Beans is directly on the Firefall website http://www.firefall.com, where you can buy Red Bean Packs. It's worth mentioning that buy Red Bean Packs will award you Red Bean Reward Tokens to be used on the Vending Machine.

1b - Marketplace

Alternatively, you can buy Red Beans in the Marketplace (Currency Exchange) from other players, using Credits (the market in-game currency).

2 - Where to spend Red Beans?

You can spend Red Beans on the in-game Store, finishing Printer jobs, upgrading your inventory and changing your perks. You can also sell them on the Marketplace or buy Gold Tokens for the Vending Machine.

2a - In-game Store

The in-game store have several products to sell:

• Battleframe Unlocks
  
• VIP time (and other Boosts)
  
• Vehicles and Transportation (LGV, Gliders)
  
• Warpaints
  
• Cosmetics (Hats, Glasses, Hair Cuts, and more)
  
• Pets
  
• Vending Machine Tokens
  
• Wicky Wackers!

You can access the Red Bean Store by pressing ESC, and going to the STORE link at the top left. You can also open the store interacting with Lual Larry in Copacabana.


The item unlocks acquired on the Store can't be sold on the the Marketplace.

2b - Printer

You can instantly finish your research or craft by spending Red Beans. The price depends on the the time left on the printer job you want to instantly finish.

2c - Inventory Limit upgrade

The game initial inventory is 155, and can be expanded in increments of 10 for a Red Bean price.

Red Bean costs for inventory upgrades:

• First +10 Inventory Slots: 5 Red Beans
  
• Second +10 Inventory Slots: 10 Red Beans
  
• Third +10 Inventory Slots: 15 Red Beans
  
• Fourth +10 Inventory Slots: 20 Red Beans
  
• Fifth +10 Inventory Slots: 25 Red Beans
  
• Sixth +10 Inventory Slots: 25 Red Beans
  
• Seventh +10 Inventory Slots: 25 Red Beans
  
• Eighth +10 Inventory Slots: 25 Red Beans
  
• Ninth +10 Inventory Slots: 25 Red Beans
  
• Final +10 Inventory Slots: 25 Red Beans

2d - Perks change

To change your Perks setup, you will need Perk Respecs that can be bought with Red Beans. Each perk change cost 1 Red Bean.

2e - Marketplace

You can trade your Red Beans at the market Currency Exchange, selling them for Credits.

2f - Vending Machine

In the Store, you can buy Gold Tokens that can be used on the Vending Machine for various prizes. The unlock items you get on the vending machine can be sold on the Marketplace.

Just gonna post this here and if OP sees this, he may want to add it in. To buy red beans via steam wallet, You will need to enable overlay on Firefall. Once done restart the game and or if you've already done it then open "Red Beans purchasing center" with tildie [ ` ]. Once done, the red beans listed like the ones from the website will be on it. Click on a package and it will lead you to a steam overlay and from there you can use your steam wallet. Once done, just closed everything smoothly. Red beans then should be instant delivered to your inventory UI and if not, then just /rui. Good Day!
