Convert Multiplayer Savegame to Singleplayer Savegame
  1. Navigate to this Folder: %UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Endnight\SonsOfTheForest\Saves
  2. Open the Folder which name is your SteamID (should be the only folder there)
  3. Here you open the Folder Multiplayer
  4. Now copy the right Savegame Folder (You may want to sort by date)
  5. Go back one Folder, and open the Singleplayer Folder
  6. Paste your folder there
  7. Open the Folder and DELETE the File MultiplayerPlayerRolesSaveData.json
  8. Done, you can now load your Multiplayer Savegame as Singleplayer, allowing you to pause the Game when opening the ESC Menu.

PS: Make sure the Folder Name is some unique 10 digit name

May I ask, if you convert files from multiplayer to singleplayer, and back to multiplayer, how would it affect other players who have a copy of the original multiplayer file? Will it have a conflict?

Can you help please? I just done a factory reset on my laptop. Added steam and downloaded SotF. Opened game and no saves from my Desktop are there! So I just started a new game hoping maybe one I saved it would download them from the cloud. Nope- nothing. So I made a save on my DT hoping this would trigger the LT to download from the cloud- again nothing, however the save game I made on my LP was saved onto my DT! Any suggestions? I have copied my save game from my DT to a memory stick and was going to add that manually. but a bit of a pain in the butt if I have to do that every time.

i think creating the folder and subfolder + addint the multiplayer file should be enough

You must have created a multiplayer save before, otherwise the correct folder is not there
