Intro
Thanks for checking out my 100% Achievement Guide for Octopath Traveler II! If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment here or on my Steam profile. I'll be happy to answer questions to the best of my ability. Please note:
  • There are no missables
  • Estimated 100%: ~80-90 hours
Path Actions / Utility - 3
Octopath Traveler...?
Brought along four townspeople at once.

To get this achievement, you need to have all 4 Travelers that have a recruitment path action (Partitio - Hire, Ochette - Befriend, Temenos - Guide, and Agnea - Allure) and then recruit 4 townspeople so you have an 8-person goon squad half-consisting of NPCs.
If you're like me and you chose booba aesthetic over purpose/achievements, you won't be able to complete this achievement until you conclude your protagonist's story and swap them out.

100 Out Cold
Soothed or knocked 100 townspeople unconscious.

Self-explanatory, but I suggest knocking out Thurston at least once.

Informed Adventurer
Gleaned information from 100 townspeople.

Whenever you use any of the information-gathering path actions, it will count towards this achievement as long as something pops up at the bottom of the information box. Sometimes it's a Key Item required for progression, Flavor Text, a Hidden Item, or even a buff for that area. Some buffs include:
  • Higher Guide success rate
  • Shop/Inn Discounts
  • Easier NPC battles (Mug, Provoke, etc)
There's more than enough info to go around so don't stress too much about this one.
Combat - 3
First Break
Broke an enemy for the first time in battle.

This will probably be one of the first achievements you get. To break an enemy, take down their armor points (# in blue shield icon) by hitting them with their type weaknesses.

Max Boost
Acted at maximum boost for the first time.

You need 3 points of BP to act at maximum boost (3 boost levels).

Hard Hitter
Dealt 9,999 or more damage.

This comes naturally, but can be triggered early using the Dancer's Bewildering Grace skill.
Master of Solistia - 2 (Exploration)
Setting Sail
Rode the ferry to a new land.

Go to any anchorage point to pay the ferry toll and move to another region.

Master of Solistia
Traveled to every location on the map.

Most locations are on the map. If anything is missing (Example: Eastern Sai District) it's still most likely covered by Main/Side Story completion. Be sure to revisit Frigit Isle and its areas.

Character Progression - 5
A New Skill
Learned a skill for the first time.

Self-explanatory. You earn JP to learn skills by completing battles. There are several accessories and support skills that increase your JP gain. Some active battle skills, such as Partitio's Arrow of Fortune, help you gain JP faster.

Master of Your Craft
Learned a job's divine skill.

A job's divine skill is unlocked after learning all preceding skills (see below).

EX Skill Master
Learned all EX skills.

EX skills are learned 2 ways:
  1. Interacting with the character's job-related EX Altar
  2. Finishing their story
In this example: Divine Skill = Brand's Blade EX skills = Shinjumonjigiri (Story Completion) & Ultimate Stance (EX Altar)

Please refer to this excellent video from Zelendes showing all EX Altars.

Job Master
Learned all secondary jobs.

Again, please refer to Zelendes' great video guide on where to find all of the Basic Jobs' guilds:

[Walkthrough Starts Here]
For this next mega-section of the guide, I'll just add VERY rough walkthroughs for each character's chapters. I'll mention interesting upgrades (equipment or otherwise) and how I approached the chapter's boss. Please note there will be many different ways to approach this game and mine may not be more helpful than what you or other guides suggest.

For most Chapter 2+ content, I will go with the assumption that you have already recruited all 8 Travelers available for maximum flexibility.
┌ Throné
Chapter 1
Steal some healing items from the battles in this starting area. Once out of the sewers, head back to HQ to get sent on another mission. We'll have to use Steal to get a disguise. Northeast of New Delsta is where we are infiltrating. Get closer for a cutscene and prep for a boss battle at the end of this new area. Learn HP Thief beforehand for an easy battle. Use it when the boss is broken.
  • Boss Weakness: Sword, Light, Dark
The Journey Begins Embarked on a journey. Unlocks for ANY starting chapter completed.

Chapter 2: Mother's Route
Change the time of day if you are unable to interact/steal:
  • Steal the Horse Coin
  • Steal the Mark
Drink from the right cup.
It's fine even if you mess up. The last checkpoint is just at the same choice.

Chapter 2: Father's Route
  • Winterbloom has a couple of strong Bows, Axes, and Shields you can steal easily to upgrade your team. I recommend bringing at least 2 characters that use Axe to take advantage of the upgrades.
  • I brought along Ochette since just west of Winterbloom features a lot of great upgrades to her Beast Lore in the form of AoE coverage.
Ambush the guard. As usual, change the time of day if necessary.

In the Snowhare Hideout, IMMEDIATELY replace Ochette's Shambling Weed with an Ivory Eel. It will grant you the Spiritsucker Beast Lore. Spiritsucker is an AoE Dagger attack that also gives your entire party a buff that recharges 6 SP after your character completes an action. It's only 6 SP per recharge but at this point in the game, it's basically UNLIMITED skill spam until each level.

The boss for this area is vulnerable to Sword and Bow attacks. If you are bringing any recruiters as part of your team, I recommend bringing a summon that has Sword/Bow attacks to help with Phase 2. His 2 goons are vulnerable to Daggers. You won't be able to break the boss until his goons are dead. Hikari and his Latent Powers are great here to (a) break the boss with Aggressive Slash and (b) heavily damage the boss during break status with Tenretsuzan.

At some point, the boss activates a move that doubles his armor points from 4 to 8 and adds 2 more vulnerabilities (one of them being Dagger). Remember to keep up healing, debuff the boss (if applicable), and inflict poison periodically. Break him once you have enough Boost Points on your Travelers to deal extreme damage and finish the job.

Before starting Chapter 3:
If you are using Partitio and your Agnea is around level 30-32, consider getting 2 recruits in Montwise. Both of them will definitely be of help in your fight against Mother and Father.

One is a Scholar that casts Divine Punishment (multi-hit Light) which is great against Father and can be hired for 15k Leaves if you have the discount.
NOTE: You can acquire Cheaper Hiring information in Montwise by inquiring with Castti.

The other is a Guard at a really high power level and can assist in breaking Mother's minion. It also deals massive damage per attack when enemies are broken (5-6k+). You can Allure this guard at 20-22% if Agnea is around level 30-32. There's also a save point nearby.

Chapter 3: Mother's Route
Time to pummel the most annoying villain in OT2!
  • Head to Wellgrove
  • Steal a Habit from a nearby nun.
  • Head south and make your way to Mother's Orphanage.
  • After some cutscenes, steal a key from Morozov.
Make your way through Mother's Garden and prepare to confront Mother. I was not expecting that bell scene to be honest. She doesn't summon a new minion and she only has 1 so make quick work of the little guy so you can focus on Mother. Other than that, just be mindful of the status effect she inflicts which seals away your ability to boost moves.
  • Boss Weakness: Dagger, Bow, Ice, Light
  • Minion Weakness: Sword, Staff, Lightning, Fire
After the battle and the resulting cutscene, I wondered if the cycle will ever break.

Chapter 3: Father's Route
Sad chapter and route overall. There's not much to do aside from heading one map East where you'll soon find Father. You'll have to stop and talk to him 2 more times before finally being able to confront him.
  • Boss Weakness: Dagger, Spear, Axe, Wind, Light

I personally ran 2 Thieves to fight against Father. It makes breaking and healing a lot more manageable thanks to HP Thief. If you recruited 1 or both of the recruits mentioned above, then there's not much else to say. After defeating father, you'll get some more cutscenes that will make you either more confused or sadder depending on how you perceive Father's words.

Chapter 4
We're back in this sleazy but cozy place we call home! After visiting where an old friend rests, we find a note asking us to go to "where it all started". We all know where that is so head there to find a new passage leading to the Deserted Highroad that was previously unknown to us. This area isn't too big so you'll reach the objective in no time.

Things are starting to get eerie after you meet an old man who acts as your guide. Shortly after taking a rinky-dink ride with the guide, we arrive at a town that looks like it's had the life sucked out of it. Before you do anything here, steal a good dagger from the first NPC north of the entrance.

While you're at it, head up a ladder West of the town and gather information from the boy that's up there just staring blankly into space. This unlocks 2 weapons at the shop near the entrance in case you need more upgrades (largely dependent on your extracurricular looting).

Now proceed west into the castle once you're done upgrading/looting. This castle is slightly larger than most of the other enemy-riddle areas we've gone through. I suggest bringing Dagger (Dancer) and Staff (Merchant works) type coverage on top of Dark coverage. I found the castle enemies harder than the other level 45 zones, but that's probably because their magic weaknesses were mostly Dark. You can bring what I suggested above (or not), and then just switch again right before you reach the castle objective and the boss.

Hmm. This boss looks familiar. I wonder why?
  • Boss Weakness: Dagger, Axe, Staff, ???, Dark
  • Phantom Snake (Man) Weakness: Sword, Light, Dark

This boss has 3 phases. I didn't notice anything too gimmicky during the first and third phases other than the usual high-damage attacks, but in the second phase, he transforms into our old friend and gets an attack that can cause Instant Death. Just revive through it. There are several pieces of equipment that negate Instant Death but unless you've found more than 1, it's equipping them is just a guessing game. On top of using Throné's Divine Skill once the boss breaks, I suggest having Hikari do the same. Combined with his Latent Powers, you'll have 3 opportunities to obliterate the boss without much hassle.
The Collar Removed Completed Throne's story.
├ Temenos
Chapter 1
  • Play through a scripted battle and then some cutscenes.
  • Head out of the church and south a bit to find a loud argument.
  • Recruit the Sanctum Knight that reminds me of a Golden Retriever.
  • Make your way North towards the Cathedral.
  • After failing to enter the main building, interrogate the "Architect" Southwest of the same area. This will show us our next destination.
  • Make your way through the Underground Passage.
  • It's time to play detective! Shortly after, a boss appears.
  • Boss Weakness: Sword, Ice, Light
For this boss, I suggest using Light Soulstones (if you found any) sparingly. Use it once the boss is broken for some decent damage. That way, you can save your SP to keep you and your party member topped up for the whole fight.

Chapter 2
This chapter will lead you to some light detective work culminating in the interrogation of some suspects at the Tavern. The suspects are weak to Light and Staff attacks. Afterward, you'll be doing some light cardio leading into a very easy boss battle.
  • Boss Weakness: Spear, Dagger, Ice, ???
This fight should be quick and painless provided you have the type coverage. I personally equipped Temenos with the Scholar secondary job to use Elemental Barrage to check for weaknesses. Not much else to note.

Chapter 3: Crackridge Route
Crackridge lookin' real suspicious right now. After spending the night in this apprehensive village, we get lured into a honeypot operation that eventually leads us to our main objective.

Since this is Temenos' chapter, I think it's appropriate to mention that the first red chest contains a good staff upgrade for him. It is located just above the notebook you pick up early into the ruins. The Jade staff most likely has more Elemental Attack power than what you have at this level (unless you got the ship already), and it also enhances Light-based attacks.

Further along the ruins, Temenos enters his own mind-world and does his Sherlock/Shinrei Tantei Temenos bit for extra context regarding the "night". After leaving the ruins, we have a small verbal exchange with our tour guide and leave the town to end the route. No boss this time!

Before Stormhail
Consider getting:
  • Spearfishing (3-5 random spear hits at all levels)
  • Elemental Bomb Bottle (Inventor Skill - see below for picture/description)
Chapter 3: Stormail Route
Shortly after arriving in Stormhail, we get reunited with our favorite Godsblade to continue our investigation. After a series of unfortunate events, we get to explore deeper into the Sanctum Knight's building and into the Forbidden Shrine.

NOTE: If you have been purely relying on Stealing/Mugging to get gear, you'll notice the enemies in here are starting to hit hard even at the appropriate level. It's up to you how much you want to gear up, but don't go crazy because you can just use your stash of healing items (unless you used them all up already) to trek toward any level 45 area (Timberain for example) and steal some stronger equipment.

On top of your regular weapon types for coverage, I suggest making sure you have Fire and Dark magic at the ready since most of the regular encounters seem to be vulnerable to those elements. If you unlocked Inventor and the Elemental Bomb Bottle skill, bring him along for magic-breaking reasons.

As expected by how mysterious this entire chapter has been, we have a boss fight at the end. This is a slight bump in difficulty (but definitely manageable) due to a new rage mechanic which makes the boss attack more often. I actually got hit by this so ended up having to redo the fight. First off, bring Spearfishing!! As I've mentioned in another section of this guide, it's a great 1v1 tool to break a boss. As for the weaknesses:
  • Phase 1: Spear, Axe, Staff
  • Phase 2: Spear, Axe, Bow
  • Phase 3: Spear, Staff, Wind, Dark
I personally don't know if the Weaknesses get randomized, but those are the weaknesses I found from 2 attempts. It seems that Spear was the constant which is perfect because I had Spearfishing. The way the phases go is that for each phase, the boss removes 1 of her weaknesses and then replaces it with a new one. The boss also has 2 types of shields: 1 to Nullify Status and 1 to Reflect Magic. You can also skip a phase if you deal enough damage during the first break. This fight was honestly pretty fun. It almost makes up for all the pain this chapter caused me.

Chapter 4
As soon as we enter the Nameless Village, we get a flashback that gives insight into this chapter's primary antagonist. Sad backstory. Dena? Kal? Kaldena?

Head North to the Wandering Wood and wander around in circles before figuring out that maybe we need a guide after all. The guide is marked on the mini-map and can be recruited by Temenos on the Eastern side of the village (near one of the docks).

Once we head back to the same place with our guide, we get to go through the actual starting point of the Wandering Woods. Head through this small area to meet our riddle master at the entrance to a cave. At the end of this cave, we find a save point and the aftermath of a top 10 anime betrayal. Save immediately and don't overstep before saving because the boss cutscene and battle literally starts just a few steps to the left.
  • Phase 1: Spear, Staff, Ice, Wind
  • Phase 2: Sword, Dagger, Axe, Fire, Light
This boss has an Instant Death attack so revives are a must-have. I recommend at least one maxed Apothecary that can mass-cure Blind/Terror using Dohter's Charity + Herbs of Valor and Light. The 1st and 2nd phases have completely different weaknesses and healing is reduced during the 2nd half of the battle. If you are struggling to break the boss with just weapon attacks and skills, you can rely on a double healing setup so that Temenos can abuse Elemental Barrage with his Latent Powers.
The Truth Lies in the Flame Completed Temenos's story.
└ Throné & Temenos - Crossed Path
The Cleric & Thief, Part 1
NOTE:This unlocks after completing both Throné and Temenos' 2nd chapter.

Take a moment to appreciate the lovely music ♥ as this chapter begins.

Seeing a doubter and a liar working together... something tells me this will be a good adventure! Begin by coercing (weak to Staff) and then subsequently guiding the old man to the Cathedral. Once you part with the old man, head to the back room in the immediate area and cross over the beams to reach the next objective.

After a confusing encounter, we end with a touching flashback. Do you hope for the dawn?

The Cleric & Thief, Part 2
NOTE:Unlocked after completing both Throné and Temenos' stories.

After doing a bit of light detective work at the start of the chapter, our destination is marked on the map. The Cavern of the Moon and Sun's entrance is accessed through a hidden passage West of Conning Creek. Just loop below the staircase near the North exit to find the way.

Take note that inside this cavern, the lighting changes based on whether it's Day or Night. Keep that in mind as you traverse the area so that you don't miss loot along the way. At the end of this cavern, we'll wear our detective cap to unveil more of the mystery. Switch between Day and Night in this area to reveal the clue's location.

"Where Day meets Night." It's really nice hearing Throné so expressive! After a bit of banter, our favorite Inquisitor turned Detective gives us a revelation regarding our fallen friend. We then finish the chapter with a token of someone else's mission. Short chapter!

To those who hope for the dawn.

The Detective and His Assistant Completed Temenos and Throne's Crossed Path.
┌ Castti
Chapter 1
Looks like we have a very confused protagonist. Shortly after waking up on a ship. Talk to the crew and utilize your newly introduce Inquire ability. Grab your satchel from the cabin to progress the story.

In Canalbrine, we end up healing a few sick people and find out that the water source may be compromised. We head south to investigate and at the end of this path, we encounter a pair of slimy bosses.
  • Boss 1: Ice, Dark
  • Boss 2: Axe, Wind, Dark
Both bosses inflict poison. I suggest (a) focusing on the boss with lower shield points and (b), waiting a bit before you cleanse the poison using your cleansing leaf (Medicinal Concoction). They keep inflicting it so you may as well stretch out each cleansing to save resources. Other than that, save your boost points for both healing and attacking after breaking a boss.

Chapter 2: Sai Route
This chapter is more of a huge revelation for Castti's story so the events leading up to the end of the chapter are very straightforward.

While this chapter's boss has no minions, it has a lot of HP and an increasing amount of armor (3 phases) which goes all the way up to 9 points. Once it's at 9 armor points, that means it is nearing death. Additionally, there is an extra mechanic where the boss will trap 1-2 of your characters in quicksand. You have to break the boss to release your team. Learning Boost-Start passive from the Merchant secondary job on all of your characters will go a long way to ensure you land extra Axe/Spear hits during the quicksand phases.
  • Boss Weakness: Spear, Axe, Ice, ???, Dark

Chapter 2: Winterbloom Route
After inquiring with the townspeople and reuniting with a friend, we soon insert ourselves into a little rescue mission. Head to the hideout in the Northern section of Winterbloom to escalate the situation and meet some B-tier villains who don't know their place (including their boss).
  • Boss Weakness: Sword, Dagger, Axe, Fire
  • Minion Weakness: Bow, Ice, ???, ???
The goons only have slightly more HP than your average boss minions, but thankfully the boss' lock mechanic only requires you to break them before you can break the boss. The weakness lock kicks in again when the boss wakes up from being broken. Just rinse and repeat and you should be fine. I highly recommend Temenos for this fight since a lot of the enemy's attacks seem to be of the AoE variety.

Chapter 3
Majority of this chapter is a playable flashback. You won't have any encounters until you reach the end of the path to Mt. Liphia. Once you make it through the mountain, more flashbacks and revelations occur to reveal a very painful truth. Honestly, this chapter was pure pain. There are no boss fights in this chapter, but we now have a clear purpose.

Chapter 4
We find ourselves in Timberain to stop an evil plot. Looks like all the decisions our Bonemender made even without her memories were not wrong. As some of our old friends rush to get all the residents to safety, we battle our way through the 2 small sections of Timberain Castle and to the edge of the rooftop. Time for the boss battle! A few things to note about this boss:
  • The poisonous rain gradually reduces our max HP.
  • The boss has a high HP pool relative to the other chapter bosses.
  • The boss also relies on mild AoE attacks paired with a plethora of debuffs. Thankfully, our Bonemender is the protagonist!
I recommend bringing along an Armsmaster if the boss still has a lot of HP even after reaching the 2nd phase (after the dialogue). He only has a couple of weapon weaknesses during the 1st phase, but this expands once you reach the latter half of the battle.
  • Phase 1: Spear, Axe, Ice, Dark
  • Phase 2: ???, Spear, Axe, ???, Ice, ???, Dark
Overall this boss doesn't hit too hard. It's just a matter of not letting the gradually debilitating status effects overwhelm you by taking too long (more so than the other boss battles). Once the boss is defeated, we enter a final medicinal concoction sequence made possible by the contributions of our fallen friends. Everything's gonna be alright!

Our favorite healer then darts all over town to save all the lives she swore to heal. After a sentimental goodbye and all that hard work, we gotta give our heroine a well-deserved break!

Eir's Apothecaries Completed Castti's story.
├ Ochette
Chapter 1
The events leading up to saving the Lost Girl are straightforward.

Beast Lore Suggestions:
  • Island Froggen II (the one with 2 points on their armor)
  • Shambling Weed (Beastwarden area BEFORE meeting the Lost Girl)
Island Froggen II is great for 2-turning the enemies that appear after you save the Lost Girl because it lets you earn extra Leaves and EXP (Untouched + Break bonus) by just spamming provoke at no SP cost.

Shambling Weed is great for self-sufficient healing in this chapter. It heals for 100 HP + 100 more for every boost point consumed.

After saving the Lost Girl, you temporarily get a summon every battle that heals for 50 HP each turn. This is only available until you reach the village.

On the way back to the village you can farm the untamable monsters by 2-turning them using the suggested Island Froggen II. Just use a 2x Boosted Island Froggen II after they are all simultaneously broken. During this small period, you can earn more than enough money without taking any damage. I used that money to buy a Buckler, Fur Armor, and a Handaxe for the boss battle.
  • Boss Weakness: Dagger, Axe, Lightning, WInd
Use Shambling Weed for healing (boosting adds +100HP each point to the heal) and just use regular unboosted attacks to break. Use a boosted Cleaving Blow when the boss is broken to maximize damage.

Chapter 2: Cateracta's Route
Early on in the chapter you'll get into a solo provoke battle. There's not much point in listing the weaknesses since you can just spam Mahina. Use her again with maximum boost once the enemy is broken.

There are no encounters when you take the boat. There are also no chests on the side as well so you can just go straight to the objective.

Continue on the series of linear scenes and prompts for both sad and eggciting news. After you get Acta, you'll have a buddy that can use Cheer On to give you some buffs.

Chapter 2: Tera's Route
On the way to the Crackridge Inn, we meet a couple of girls who love cute and fluffy things. We also get suspicious once they tense up at the mention of Tera. Thankfully, there's at least one person in this town who's willing to talk. Unfortunately, he's very hungry so we gotta rustle up some Buttermeep just West of the town and turn it into Aromatic Jerky using Ochette's unique talents. After a rude awakening, we will get plunged into a battle with a molten behemoth!
  • Boss Weakness: Dagger, Axe, Staff, Ice, ???
For each boss phase, the boss' weaknesses get reduced by 1—all the way down to 2. Make sure you have good type coverage among your 4 travelers. A scholar is a must. I also recommend both Temenos and Castti for AoE and targeted healing especially during the later phases when your entire team gets damaged by the heat every turn. After concluding the battle, we now have the ability to summon Tera (max boost & once per battle)!

Chapter 2: Glacis's Route
Judging from the harsh blizzard, we can expect the boss to employ ice attacks. There's a Sanctum Knight just outside of the Sanctum Guard headquarters that you can mug if you want a Blizzard Amulet. It's there if you want it, but it may not be necessary depending on where your progression is at.

Head up to the entrance just West of the Bridge to Castle Mei. Provoke the guard, and watch the cutscenes inside. Head deeper into the Sacred Peak for more cutscenes and eventually, we get into the boss fight. No crazy gimmicks in this fight, just Ice Magic that can catch you off guard.

Chapter 3
It's good to be home! Before we begin, I strongly recommend bringing along Castti to cover any resource weaknesses we may have later on (that and she dotes on Ochette so it feels rather appropriate). After reporting to our Master, we prepare for the looming night Plants vs. Zombies style. It's pretty nice seeing everyone come together so that our favorite hunter can do her thing. We even get the usual end-game sequence where the supporting cast makes way for the main heroine so that she can confront whatever is waiting for us at the end.

What's this? Something smells familiar. It looks like the companion we didn't pick has succumbed to jealousy and darkness. After a few more scenes and an "awakening", we finally get to fight the boss. If you brought along Castti, you can use her Latent Powers combined with Medicinal Concoction to great effect. She can bring everyone back from the brink of death and prepare our team for a hefty counterattack—all in one breath!!
  • Phase 1: Bow, Staff, Wind, Dark
  • Phase 2: Spear, Dagger, Fire, Lightning, Holy
This boss in particular is very dangerous in that it does several attacks that leave your travelers(s) at 1 HP. It also seems to have high speed since it frequently follows up with another attack afterward. Be prepared to revive!! It's possible that several of your characters can end up at 1 HP so manage your BP on Castti or your healer to react as needed. NOTE: If you need a light-based attack to assist you against the 2nd phase, consider using Ochette to recruit this Factory Worker in Roque Island (house beside the Tarvern). Her Solar Cannon Prototype is a moderately strong multi-hit Light attack.

Watch the chapter's ending scenes and feel a little bit of pride as our favorite meat-loving hunter begins to understand what she's fighting for and embrace her destiny. Garororo!!

Protector of the Island Completed Ochette's story.
└ Castti & Ochette - Crossed Path
The Apothecary & Hunter, Part 1
NOTE:This part unlocks after completing Chapter 2 - Sai Path and Chapter 2: Cateracta's Route

The forest path can be reached by boat. North, then East at the fork, and across the river. Follow along for an easy battle against a Duorduor (Weakness: Sword). Not much else after this battle except for a short stroll in the forest, more cutscenes, and a new friend. ♪ ♪

The Apothecary & Hunter, Part 2
Unlocked after completing both Castti and Ochette's stories.

Time to visit our Wooly friend! Something seems off about the forest...

After heading to where we first met our gigantic friend, the source of the forest anomaly shows itself. Quickly defeat it 1-on-1 using Provoke (just spam Mahina really) to clear the way and reveal a familiar face. As we take on the task of defeating the shadow, we enter deeper into the forest and get sucked into a dream-like sequence. Just follow the linear path for a cutscene in which Ochette brings us back to our senses in the only way she knows how (GARORO!!). Now for the actual boss fight:
  • Boss Weakness: Spear, Axe, Bow, Ice, Light
This boss does not pose any threat at all. Just employ Ochette's many means of breaking this boss through Provoke or other means (Double Guard Break, Multishine, Rainbow Shot, etc) and get to bursting! The boss is weak to Castti and Ochette's entire kit so this should be cake jerky.

A Peaceful Little Forest Completed Castti and Ochette's Crossed Path.

┌ Agnea
Chapter 1
  • Use Entreat to collect tips from your friendly neighbors.
  • Consider buying a couple of healing items for the eventual end of this chapter.
  • Make your way North to the Festival Grounds. Eventually, you'll need to Allure people back to this area to get some work done for the festival.
  • Looks like our sister hasn't come back yet so let's look for her around the Veil of Trees.
  • Boss fight! (Boss Weakness: Dagger, Axe, Wind)
Keep your companion buffed with Lion Dance and use both characters in tandem to whittle down the boss' high shield points. Utilize boosted Wind and Chop Wood attacks once the boss is broken. It may seem like a more vigorous boss than other chapters, but it will go down eventually. Nothing special here.

Chapter 2
After the scene at the Theater gate, change the time of day if you can't see the next objective.

Apparently, dreams taste like beans.

At some point, you'll need to use Agnea's Allure path action. If your Agnea is under-leveled like mine, this may take a few extra tries with the assistance of the save point. Just reload as needed if you want to avoid the 5k Leaf fee for restoring your reputation. Don't worry about losing any current Allured companion in case you started the chapter with a good one. The game specifies that they return after the objective.

You can start the performance early, or continue to Allure more townspeople. I chose the latter until the last person and got an Empowering Lychee (M) for my efforts.

The next bit is straightforward up until the chapter's boss battle.
  • Boss Weakness: Spear, Dagger, Fire, ???, Dark
  • Minions: Dagger, Axe
The last 3 weaknesses of the boss are locked until the minions go down. Moves like Dancing Dagger and the Spiritsucker from the Ivory Eel Beast Lore work great here. I personally used Agnea with the Thief secondary job, Ochette for Spiritsucker, Castti, and Throné. Cast AoE dagger attacks until it's just the boss left and then unload your heavy-hitting single-target skills when broken. Use HP Thief when the boss is alone to break him again. Very easy fight.

Chapter 3
The runaway is on a tiny island on the Western side of Tropu'hopu. Once you return with the runaway, all that's left is to watch the series of events unfold. Afterward, we get a heartfelt exchange near the end of the chapter. That's it for Chapter 3. We're done!

Chapter 4
Before we do anything here in Sai, note that during the day there is a strong recruitable NPC just below the save point. Depending on when you do Agnea's story, you may be at a higher level than what this chapter requires. If so, I suggest taking a moment to try and recruit this companion if your Agnea is level 40+ for a sizable boost in damage output.

The first portion of this chapter has us learning about Sai, our Mother, a certain superstar, and how all their paths intertwine. Once a tense situation unfolds, all we just need to make a very short trek through Dragonridge for an eventual boss battle.
  • Boss Weakness: Dagger, Axe, Ice, Fire, ???
This is an easy battle although I do admit I was already too strong for this point due to doing Agnea's route last for this level range. If you took my advice and spent the extra few minutes trying to recruit that strong NPC, it'll chunk the boss for about 4k even before you break her. Not much else to it.

I guess 2 people can have completely different reasons for pursuing the same dreams, huh?

Chapter 4
I honestly believe this chapter is the culmination of all the smiles Agnea shared with this world through her 4-chapter journey. Not long after we arrive in Merry Hills, we get sucked into a battle/botched kidnapping! Thankfully, all the friends we made along the way paved the way so we can answer a certain superstar's call to challenge.

This guy again!? Get ready for what I assume will be the exact same fight... NVM! I had no idea you could cancel a boss battle with just a liver blow. Finally, we get to confront the real boss and THE superstar in a battle—a performance! There's not much to prepare for against this boss, just keep in mind she can put one or more of your characters out of commission for a few turns (they come back just as healthy as before). I'm gonna be completely honest... I had no idea there was a minion because this boss was just so radiant (literally).
  • Boss Weakness: Spear, Dagger, Bow, Lightning, Dark
  • Minion Weakness: ???, ???, ???, ???
Prepare yourself for the next few emotional cutscenes as the voices of defeat our your head get drowned out by a loud, yet heartwarming minority of our friends and family. Prepare to listen to my favorite battle track in the game—The "Song of Hope"!! Now we can finally see the boss' true form to fully appreciate how this chapter was staged. From the music to the sprites, it all fits appropriately with Agnea's story arc! For this boss, just watch out for Doom/Skill Lock on top of her previous moves. She can inflict them on multiple characters so I recommend item use on top of the usual recovery from the healers. As far as vitality goes, this boss is on the lower end of the HP spectrum.
  • Boss Weakness: Sword, Dagger, Axe, Fire, Wind
Enjoy the scenes as we conclude the chapter with Agnea's encore. Watch me shine!

Agnea the Star Completed Agnea's story.
├ Hikari
Chapter 1
The first part of this chapter is a scripted war. Sometime after this war, we find ourselves in Ku. After the initial interactions with the townspeople, we end up with a power-hungry official that compels us to discipline him.

Later on, we end up meeting with a man named Benkei who gives us some unsettling news. Head toward Ku Castle to find a target we can bribe for more information. This info leads us outside of the city and towards a boss fight!
  • Boss Weakness: Sword, Bow, Fire
  • Minion Weakness: Sword, Spear, Bow, Fire
The minions go down quick because they only have 1 shield point. Once it's a 1-on-1 battle, the rest can be done on auto-pilot. Hikari already comes with all the necessary skills to pummel the boss. He can Blind, induce a break early with Aggressive Slash, and nuke once the boss is broken.

Chapter 2
The first objective is just around a staircase beside the Eastern bridge.

Soon after you'll have to challenge an arena gladiator. He's super weak with just ~1400 HP. Head on over to your new playground place of employment. To progress the chapter, head to the same arena from before and complete the new series of challenges—Corneo Colosseum style.Bring the following attack types
  1. Match 1: Sword and Spear
  2. Match 2: Sword and Lightning (Vengeful Blade and Blinding Flash for an easy win)
NOTE: Learn the skill Slowing Sweep after the match It's good for single-boss battles.
  3. Match 3...!?
Looks like the match is postponed, but thankfully we can just run straight in to start! But wait, why is he so small, unlike every other boss we've faced so far??
  • Match 3: Spear, ???, ???, ???, ???
I personally didn't get a chance to see all of his weaknesses, but spear moves like the one we learned from Zeto the Butcher will help. I recommend the Hunter secondary job for Hikari.

He hits hard, but Blinding Flash should help with that. I strongly suggest keeping your health up at all times. Looks like our friend has a bit more in thank! Time for the REAL boss battle!
  • Boss Weakness PHASE 1: Dagger and Fire
  • PHASE 2: Spear, Axe, and Light
  • PHASE 3 (if applicable): Spear, Dagger Axe, Fire, and Light
The boss will have strong AoE's so keep Blinding Flash up as much as possible. The gimmick of this fight is that the boss will lock some of his weaknesses for the first 2 phases. After that, it's just a matter of pummeling him while he's broken. Employ attacks such as HP Thief and boosted regular attacks (thanks to Boost-Start) to make short work of his armor/shield.

Chapter 3
We start off with a flashback and a target to bribe. Head West of the town and into the forest to cancel an arms deal! Looks like we've got a bounty on our heads so we'll have to deal with a group of grunts before the boss. Make quick work of the soldiers and then face a wild bull.
  • Boss Weakness: Spear, ???, ???
It's a simple challenge battle just like any we've fought before. Make sure you learn the skill from this boss as it is a good 2-hit Sword AoE. Just employ Blinding Flash and Vengeful Blade as you see fit. Break the boss and unleash your Latent Powers if available. You'll also get an assist Bleach/Hollow style if you know what I mean. After, the battle we got some GoT betrayal-level cutscenes and the end of the chapter.

Chapter 4
After reaching the castle in Stormhail, you'll end up in a small fight against someone's vassal (Weakness: ???, Axe, ???). After the battle, you'll have to go through several flashbacks/cutscenes before regaining control of your team.

Once you are free to roam again, I suggest completing a few battles past the first save point since the enemies here aren't too hard for the level recommendation in comparison to Temenos and Osvald's chapters (around the same level). Might as well get a few levels in and charge up your Latent Powers before the upcoming boss battle.

This boss battle is very straightforward and doesn't have gimmicks (I guess it matches the boss' principles/character). Watch out for fast and hard-hitting attacks (she mixes them up often) and kill the 2 minions ASAP so you can begin to break the boss.
  • Boss Weakness: Sword, ???, Fire, Light
  • Minions Weakness: Spear, Bow, Fire, ???, Dark
Aggressive Slash and Elemental Barrage (with Temenos' Latent Powers) will be your best bet to break the boss at the right opportunity to nuke. Rinse and repeat for the win. Cutscenes ensue and we place our faith in an old friend.

Chapter 5
Just like the strong wind that busted open the main gate, our team cuts a straight path to the main objective. It's a straightforward chapter, much like our protagonist. As one would expect, the final chapter of Hikari's story is filled with battles. Make your way through the castle and into the gauntlet!!
  • Boss 1:
  • Boss 2 (Phase 1): Spear, Axe, Lightning, Light
  • Boss 2 (Phase 2): ???, Ice, ???
The 1st boss has 1 phase cut up into pre and post-dialogue but his weaknesses remain the same throughout the battle. There's no special gimmick here. Just top up your HP as needed. The 2nd boss, King Mugen, has several moves that inflict Terror. The main thing you have to watch out for is an AoE move that sets multiple characters to 1 HP AND inflicts terror at the same time. Shortly after the 2nd boss, we enter a 1-on-1 duel against a shadowy figure. Nothing special here as well. Just Blind the boss and counter with Vengeful Blade.
  • Boss 3 (Duel): Sword, ???, ???
Easy-peasy! For winning this battle, our favorite Hero-king gets a thematic overhaul to match his name and change the source of his Latent Powers! Awesome! Now to take care of business, it seems that the 2nd boss still has some fight left in him. Watch him be consumed by his own malice as we enter the final boss battle of Hikari's story.
  • Final Boss: Sword, Spear, ???, Staff, Lightning, Wind

Congrats on finishing the gauntlet and becoming the Hero-king the nation deserves!
Clear Skies Completed Hikari's story.
└ Agnea & Hikari - Crossed Path
The Dancer & Warrior, Part 1
NOTE:This unlocks after completing both Agnea and Hikari's 2nd chapter. The recommended level is 8 so don't expect anything crazy here.

Very short and contained chapter/part. Everything happens in Ryu.
I honestly thought they were gonna get scammed!!

The Dancer & Warrior, Part 2
NOTE:This chapter essentially boils down to
  • Planning an event to remember loved ones
  • Running errands for Benkei who is trying his best to learn how to be an Event Planner.
  • Enter a ruined area to fight Yomi
It's just a very basic Duel-type battle. The boss is weak to Spear attacks (Spear, ???, ???) so if you have Spearfishing go nuts. Other than that, just unleash the combo of Hienka (Latent Powers) + Shinjumonjigiri to end the battle when it's time. Enjoy the subsequent melancholic celebration of life. RIP Tsuki.

By the Light of the Heart Completed Agnea and Hikari's Crossed Path.
┌ Osvald
Chapter 1&2
I personally found these starting chapters a bit more restrictive in comparison to everyone else. I had to manage my SP due to learning the wrong skill early on so to learn from my mistakes, I suggest:
  • Learn Elemental Barrage as your first skill.
  • Fully loot the underground passage so you can get Ancient Necklace. This will increase your max SP which translates to more effective SP per level up.
  • If you don't want to waste healing resources, deplete your SP the closer you get to a level up.
  • Only 1/2 of Osvald's Path Actions can be used to enrich yourself safely in the first 2 chapters. I personally think Mugging during this time is not worth the effort as it can force you to waste healing resources when none are readily available by means of a shop.
Chapter 1 Boss: Once you go through the motions of Chapter 1, you'll end up with a boss fight at the end of the Underground Passage. Use AoE Ice Magic to whittle down the minions, and then its boosted version to wipe out the Boss' minions. Before the minions are down, focus your companion's turns toward reactive healing. Once the boss is alone, employ Elemental Barrage followed up by a Boosted Latent Power Fire Magic attack once broken.
  • Boss Weakness: Dagger, Staff, Lightning, Fire
  • Minion Weakness: ???, Staff, Ice, ???
Chapter 2: This chapter is just part flashback and part escape. No boss fights.

Chapter 3
Shortly after setting foot in Conning Creek, we end up reminiscing at the ruins of Osvald's home and investigating his study. In the process, we get to beat up an old lady his former assistant.
  • Boss Weakness: Spear, Dagger, Lightning
Nothing noteworthy about this pseudo-boss. Just pummel her with multi-hit Dagger and Spear skills. Our investigation leads us to the Guard Captain's house and the eventual boss of the chapter—Stenvald. Just like the previous boss, there's nothing special about this one. If you've been doing the story chapters in the order of lowest to highest level requirement, you will most likely be over-leveled for this chapter. You may not even need a healer. Blind the boss if you need to, otherwise, just break his minions and finish them off with strong AoE attacks to release the lock on the boss' weaknesses.
  • Boss Weakness: Spear, Dagger, Lightning
  • Minion Weakness: Axe, ???, Fire, ???
A fully boosted Hired Help -> Mercenary is an excellent way to break the boss.

Does an oath to the dead hold any meaning?

Chapter 4
Our first destination is the library. A little bit of scrutinizing tells us:
  • Where our objective is x2
  • A rumor of a secret passage
  • +3 to our gathered information. Yay!
Enter the secret passage and you'll find yourself in a sewer-like area. This area is pretty small so it won't be long until you reach a lab and a simple fight with 3 chimera-like monsters. Easy stuff. After the battle, go back to the save point just before the lab because the real fight is just about to begin. Cutscenes ensue and our grizzly protagonist Osvald keeps switching from rage to admiration, and then some more rage. A huge enemy appears, but why is it talking? (FMA MOMENT) It's time to take down this sinister monster!
  • Phase 1: Spear, Staff, Wind, Holy
  • Phase 2: Sword, Bow, Ice, Dark
This boss has 2 phases with completely different weaknesses. On top of hitting quite hard, the boss also likes to inflict some cursed flame type of move that can drain SP/BP/HP when you perform an action. Just make sure you read which drain it is so you can manage your HP/SP accordingly. I personally ran a Cleric Osvald, Scholar Temenos, Inventor Hikari, and a Hunter Throné. Between Hikari (Spearfishing/Aggressive Slash) and the 2 staff-wielders (Mystical Staff), it's pretty easy to get a break during the first phase. Hikari is highly recommended (as usual) because his skillset is compatible with breaking the 2nd phase. Other than that, the fight shouldn't pose a huge challenge so enjoy the shocking reveals after winning the battle.

Chapter 4
Looks like something ominous is going down near Gravell! Head on East to find out. As soon as you enter you'll get a brief prognosis of a sullen-looking villager in front of you. We'll then have to start a few 1-on-1 battles with Osvald as we climb up to the ruins ahead. For the most part, Osvald's Scholar skillset is enough to deal with these battles. If you want extra staying power, change his secondary to Cleric. Nearly everyone is weak to Staff and Elemental Barrage attacks save for 1 enemy.

The ruins aren't anything special, but it's just slightly longer than most areas we've gone through before. Not too long, but long enough to consider our HP/SP management. If you want to breeze through this area quickly, you can equip your strongest travelers with the Full Power Support Skill to continuously nuke enemies on the 1st turn. A team of Ochette, Hikari, and Partitio (with a maxed Hunter skillset) can wipe most enemies in 1 turn thanks to Full Power.

Before finishing these ruins, I strongly suggest frontloading your defenses to lean more toward Elemental and preparing at least 1 Merchant with Hired Help. At the end of the ruins, we finally get to confront our Nemesis and regain our pride as the family man. This boss employs debuffs like Blind, summoning Pure Elementals, and multiple Magic AoE attacks in a row. No single AoE seems to be lethal but because he casts several per turn, it can get overwhelming. I personally made the mistake of not bringing a Cleric so healing was kind of a pain, but still manageable with items.

NOTE: Even if you did stack Elemental Defence, it's still a good idea to break and kill the Pure Elementals quickly. Spam your Merchant(s)' Hired Help command to use Guards (the one that costs 7k Leaves). They hit hard and can break the elementals so pony up that cash to ensure your survival!! Arcanist NOTE: If you have Agnea and the Arcanist secondary job, you can use her Latent Powers combined with Reflective Barrier to counter the magic attacks.
  • Boss Weakness: Spear, Axe, Fire, Ice, Lightning
  • Phase 2: ???, Bow, ???, Dark
  • Pure Elementals: Staff, ???, Ice, Lightning, ???, ???
As you can see, his 1st phase is very susceptible to Elemental Barrage so take advantage of that to score an early break. He has a total of 2 phases and the 2nd phase begins when he starts a conversation mid-fight. Shortly after, he switches his weaknesses. I didn't get to Analyze his last few weaknesses, but if you do find out please let me know. Good luck and enjoy the bittersweet scenes after we save Elena!!

An Answer, a Journey Completed Osvald's story.
├ Partitio
Chapter 1
This chapter starts off with Partitio learning how to be a Merchant. Fast forward a little bit and the town we're in is booming. Unfortunately, some troublemakers are around so we have to hire a companion to chase them away. After chasing them away, we jump another 8 years in the future in some less-than-ideal circumstances. Buy some medicine for your dad and bring it back to him.

After some heartwrenching scenes of poverty, Partitio eventually gets fed up with his situation and rallies the town against their greedy dictator/overseer. Hire some help (do not summon them) and make your way through the mines East toward a greedy man in his lavish mansion. Near the boss is a merchant and a save point. Grind a bit to buy equipment and supplies before confronting the boss.
  • Boss: Dagger, Spear, Axe, Ice
  • Lackey 1: Dagger, Bow, Fire, Ice
  • Lackey 2: Dagger, Spear, Axe, Ice
Focus on the minion that has lower shield points to quickly reduce the enemy's overall firepower. Work on the next minion and once it's a 1-on-1 fight, you can summon the person you hired earlier. When the boss starts glowing, use Sidestep to dodge their major attack. Everything else should be straightforward.

Eight Travelers Gathered all eight travelers. Unlocked after ALL 8 travelers have joined your party.

Chapter 2
Straightforward chapter overall. After going from task to task, you'll get to explore the factory which leads you to the chapter's boss. Cute!
  • Boss Weakness: Spear, ???, Fire, Lightning
Put Hikari on Blinding Flash duty while the rest of your team builds up their BP. If you are using any Scholars, a boosted Elemental Barrage is a viable option to break the boss. If you don't have multi-hit spear skills on Hikari, stick to debuffs until the boss is broken. By then he'll have his chance to bask in the sunlight with a fully boosted Aggressive Slash. NOTE: I ended up finding a good multi-hit spear skill called Spearfishing at Conning Creek (3-5 random hits at all levels). Unfortunately, it was after I already completed this boss battle.

Chapter 3
This is mostly a feel-good chapter where you get an uplifting quest that matches our favorite Merchant's spirit. We'll mostly employ our Hire and Purchase abilities with the game moving us along in a linear path and warping us to different destinations to complete the quest. Looks like a mysterious figure is looming about! When the bulk of the work is done, something misty catches our eye. Looks like this feel-good chapter actually has a boss!
  • Boss Weakness: Sword, Axe, Bow, ???, ???
  • Steam Engine: ???, Dagger, ???, ???
This is a simple battle where the boss employs debuffs that aren't of huge importance. The main mechanic is that you just have to destroy the Steam Engine to make the boss vulnerable to breaking. Just employ your deadliest attacks once broken. That's all there is to it!

Chapter 4
With cash in hand and purpose in mind, we head to our former mentor's island! We've got a contract to settle, but unfortunately, we don't have direct access to the front gates. Thankfully, our Scrivener friend has got us covered!

Make your way through the individual offices since some of them contain loot. Once you make it to the other end (it's not that long) we bust up the unveiling announcement to show our hefty promissory note. While our former mentor may try to snake out of this deal, our new affluent friend comes to the rescue! It can't be this simple, right??

After we settle the contract, Roque throws a temper tantrum and locks himself behind the gate. Shortly after, the boss battle ensues! This boss has multiple parts that shield the main body and they all have varying weaknesses. You could attempt, to break and destroy them one at a time, but I prefer brute force! NOTE: The 3 other parts will increase their defenses if you don't strike early—reducing the effectiveness of your major attacks. To prepare for this fight:
  • Equip the Full Power and Deal More Damage support skills
  • Bring 2-4 characters that can deal massive AoE damage.
  • Finish Osvald's Final Chapter (for One True Magic)
Alongside Partitio (Thief), I went with Osvald (Cleric), Temenos (Scholar), and Hikari (Inventor). As a Thief, Partitio can use Aeber's Reckoning to deal massive damage right at the start when equipped with Speed accessories. Osvald can spam One True Magic as well with some assistance from SP healing items. Hikari can also deal significant AoE damage with one of his Latent Power moves. Once all 3 parts are down, use Temenos' Latent Powers with Elemental Barrage to break the boss and prepare for another round of big damage. The fight should enter the next phase in 1-2 breaks. Once he starts talking, he will enter the next phase by repairing all parts so you'll have to break them again to deal meaningful damage to the core. That's that!
  • Main Body: Spear, ???, Dark
  • Cannon: Sword, Dagger, ???, Ice, ???
  • Smokestack: Spear, Dagger, ???, Lightning
  • Glacis Plate: Sword, Axe, ???, Fire, ???
Let's take a moment to admire Partitio for making the most of this situation. Feels good!

The Road to Prospetiy Completed Partitio's story.
├ Partitio (Commerce)
The Scent of Commerce: Tropu'hopu Route
  • Head to Tropu'hopu Shipyard on the Northeast corner of Toto'haha Island
  • A cutscene starts as soon as you enter.
  • Go to Tropu'hopu village and recruit a villager with the Gator Tears/Coy Wink Merchant Talent ( 5/8% chance to get 50% off purchases). It notifies you if the talent took effect.
  • Save and reload until you manage to buy the ship at a 50% discount (if you want to).

The Scent of Commerce: Sai Route
Fast travel to Sai and up a hill on the East side to find a cart and a house. 2 cutscenes will occur along the way and upon interacting with the door. The merchant seems annoyed by our request, but thanks to Partitio's insistence, he sends us on a test. Simply talk to the residents in the area and one of them will stand out in particular—Masoud's Daughter. Extract information from her, and then switch to nighttime so you can hire her and lead her back to the merchant. What a bad father!!

Looks like the girl's initial dialogue was correct! Head back to the merchant and hire him. This will finish the quest and give you permanent access to The Mercantile Manuscript.

The Scent of Commerce: Winterbloom Route
This whole quest is essentially a chill jam session with a new friend. Fast travel to Winterbloom and head East to find a fancy house. Head inside to "help someone in need".

The next part of the quest involves recruiting 3 musicians from 3 different locations. I don't know if there is more than 1 musician for each location, but here are the ones I hired:
  1. Piano-playing Nun outside of the church in Flamechurch
  2. Guitarist in his house just beside the 3 elderly people in Crackridge
  3. Violinist right as you fast travel to Canalbrine
With that, the quest will end and you will now have access to Records (see achievement).
└ Osvald & Partitio - Crossed Path
The Scholar & Merchant, Part 1
This unlocks after completing both Osvald and Partitio's 2nd chapter.

This part is essentially a very short fetch quest for a scholar with astronomical dreams.

The Scholar & Merchant, Part 2
I didn't get this crossed path immediately after finishing both Osvald and Partitio's story arcs. I had to finish another story first (in my case Ochette) before this became available.

In this chapter, we head over to check on our fellow Scholar and our "investment". As it turns out, our friend has trouble distinguishing between being stolen from and making questionable financial decisions. Thankfully, Paritio and Osvald are in a sweet/creamy coffee kind of mood right now. Time to visit the Moneylender and show him proper business etiquette!! Our destination is just a stone's throw away from the Library. Along the way, we'll have to fight 2 identical sets of goons.
  • Thug I: Sword, Bow, Fire, Lightning
  • Thug II: Spear, Ice, Lightning
  • Thug III: Dagger, Bow, Lightning, ???
Make short work of these thugs and let's proceed to deliver some bitter, pure black, frontier/scholarly justice!! After reuniting our Scholar friend with his life's work, we get some further insight into the changes in this world. Seems like the nights are getting longer!

Mysteries of the Night Sky Completed Osvald and Partitio's Crossed Path.
The Journey for the Dawn (Extra Stories)
After you complete all the Crossed Paths above, head to the objective near Cropdale. Interact with it and after some truly wholesome cutscenes, an endless night will descend upon the world. Your objective now is to identify the locations shown in your dreams to rekindle the blue light. Visit these locations in any order:
  • Flamechurch -> Flamechurch: Cathedral (Throné & Temenos)
  • Tranquil Grotto (Agnea & Hikari)
  • Tombs of the Wardenbeasts (Castti and Ochette)
  • Fellsun Ruins (Osvald & Partitio)
Take note that you can now freely swap your party members without the need for a Tavern by visiting the Formation option on the main menu. You'll need to swap in the 2 characters (tied by their Crossed Paths) to rekindle the blue light on their respective braziers (see the list above). Once swapped in, interact with the mirror key item to watch some flashbacks that provide context to current events. There are only 2 bosses during this series of objectives. 1 each in Flamechurch and the Tombs of the Wardenbeasts.

Tombs of the Wardenbeasts Boss
  • Boss Weakness: Axe, Bow, Ice, Light
  • Minion Weakness: Axe, ???
Nothing you haven't seen before. What makes this battle even easier is that the boss remains vulnerable (no locks) even with the minions spawned. Just unleash Ice/Axe AoE attacks to make short work of this chicken dragon. If you have the Armsmaster secondary job, abuse the Deep Analysis learned skill and On the Hunt.

Flamechurch Boss
Not long after arriving in Flamechurch, we get a hefty cutscene for a shocking reveal. I always thought Mindt's last few words to Temenos were kinda weird!!
  • Boss Weakness: Spear, Axe, Ice, Lightning
  • Minion Weakness: ???, ???, ???
A few things to note: The boss summons shadow minions. They do multi-attacks that can threaten your most fragile party members (Osvald in my case) but other than that, they're not much more of a threat. They should go down easily with any combination of magic and Aeber's Reckoning. The boss doesn't seem to summon more minions if killed in a timely manner. If you have Spearfishing or Aggressive Thrust (the better version), breaking this boss will be an absolute cakewalk. NOTE: Aggressive Thrust can be obtained along the western bridge leading into Canalbrine. The NPC can be found during the day.

Vidania
Soon after rekindling the last brazier, beams of light will point you to your next destination. A solitary island out in the middle of the sea. Seems like the momentary dousing of the flames exposed some brand-new real estate! Before we continue, I suggest buying extra Merchant licenses from the guild if you want an easier time breaking during this final story boss.

Head on over to this island to bring music back to our world and face the main story's final boss momentarily. Make sure to optimize all of your characters' equipment and skills! Divide the 2 parties logically based on whichever reasoning works for you.

Final Boss
After some scenes with an old conniving friend/tactician/eagle, we finally get to face the big bad boss! Take a moment to appreciate the awesome battle track to accompany our first and sadly only 8-person battle! Here's what you can expect:

Phase 1
The tentacles in Phase 1 don't seem to have a shared weakness among all of them. I suggest simply employing your strongest AoE attacks instead of worrying about the individual parts. A merchant Using Hired Help -> Beastling would probably benefit you greatly during this phase.
  • Boss: Sword, Axe, Staff, Lightning, Light → Bow, Fire, Dark, ???
Phase 2
You'll get to use all 8 characters for this battle. The main body is immune until both arms are down. Analyze if you need to, but the right arm is basically weak to magic and the left is vulnerable to weapons.
  • Boss: Sword, Dagger, Bow, Wind, Light → Spear, Axe, Staff, Ice, ???, ???
  • Left Arm: Sword, Axe, Bow, Staff
  • Right Arm: ???, Light, ???, ???
Once again, Hired Help -> Beastling will greatly assist your breaking efforts. Watch the turn order because you can manipulate who the boss attacks by attacking using the group of 4 you want to take the hit just before the boss' turn comes up. You can also heal the entire 8-traveler squad using Castti's nutty concoctions. That's it! Good luck on walloping this joke of a boss. Enjoy your scenes as you get an achievement and unlock the Epilogue!
Dawn Breaks Returned dawn to the world.

Play through the Epilogue's straightforward route to grab your last story-related achievement!

Octopath Traveler Approached the end of your journey.

Time for achievement cleanup!
┌ Worth the Detour (Side Stories)
Worth the Detour
Finished all side stories.

There are a total of 67 side stories. For the next portion of the guide, if I mention a specific Path Action such as Mug, Guide, or Inquire, you can assume that other similar Path Actions work assuming you are able to find the relevant NPC. Quests will be primarily divided by region. If you are unable to find certain side quests at their mentioned location, there is a chance you must progress the main stories related to that area first before they pop up. This is especially true for any quest labeled Next Chapter because they're related to the main story supporting characters.
├ Toto'haha
Culinary Cunning - There is a Street Vendor in Tropu'hopu that has the Spicy Chicken Recipe info. Scrutinize this recipe and bring it to the Cooking Enthusiast in the Beasting Village.

The Late Riser - Knock out the Sleepy Fisherman during the day to fix his sleep schedule.

Stage Actors - Fight and win against the Stage Director in Tropu'hopu: Floating Theater using any of the 4 characters that can duel (Hikari, Osvald, Temenos, and Ochette). Each one results in a different outcome for the play. Utilize Bottled Nightmares purchasable from the Black Market (New Delsta Flats) if you are having trouble with the battle.

Pearl Hunt - There's a man looking for pearls in Tropu'hopu. Thankfully, both pearls are nearby.
  • Fisherwoman (Steal)
  • Chest (KO the NPC blocking the way)

Building Bridges - A Human Boy in the village beside Beasting Village wants to get closer to the Beastlings. Entreat an Amulet of Affection from a nearby Beastling Girl and bring it back to him.

Ghormf! - There is another Beastling that can speak the Ancient Language. Guide this Beastling in Beasting Village (shown below) back to the Quest Giver in Nameless Village.

Shirlutto's Next Chapter - Shirlutto can be found North of Nameless Village after clearing Ochette's story. To finish this quest, you need to Steal 3 things to bring back to him.
  1. A Lute from Sai
  2. A History Book from Montwise
  3. A Paper Play from Flamechurch
├ Harborlands
Goading the Grapes - Head to the Grapevines west of Conning Creek and change the time to Night to start the quest. Proceed to then head to Gus' Tavern in Cropdale to Scrutinize information from an old man on Tricks to Growing Grapes.

The Fish Filcher - Head North of Conning Creek to find the Quest Giver. While at the exact same location, switch the time to Night, wait for a few minutes, and our Fish Filcher will show up.

A Young Girl's Wish - On the outskirts of Conning Creek, around the graveyard just before Osvald's home, is an Apathetic Girl with 3 wishes you can fulfill.
  1. New Delsta Crepe (Mug)

  2. Scrutinize Adventures of an Apprentice Cleric's Sequel (Cleric Guild)

  3. Escort Roland back to the girl (Timberain Castle: Town Square)

Lighthouse Restoration - Around the back portion of Canalbrine is the Town's Lighthouse Keeper. He needs our help to repair the Lighthouse but to do that we must first visit another island that also has a similar Lighthouse (west of Frigit Isle). Once you've disembarked at Lighthouse Island, purchase the necessary part from the island's Lighthouse Keeper.

Waiting All Day and Night - There are 2 people waiting at the exact same spot in Canalbrine (patio seating beside the Tavern) at different times of the day. Guide one to the other so they can then realize tthat they need better time management.

Traveler's Lost and Found - There is a Young Traveler in Canalbrine, just before the bridge, who lost the ashes of his dear friend (WTF). Travel to Beasting Bay anchorage to steal the Bottle of White Powder from the Ferry Staff

Lady Clarissa's Next Chapter - After finishing Osvald's story, Lady Clarissa can be found near the graveyard just before Osvald's home. She'll talk about wanting to go somewhere so after the scenes, Guide her and bring her to the Beasting Village for a cutscene which eventually reunites Clarissa with Cohazeh. Everything past this point is a cutscene until the end. After completing this quest, you can Mug the Battle-Tested Bow from Cohazeh in her hut during the night and near some vegetables (East of the village) during the day.

Floyd and Thurston's Next Chapter - After completing Partitio's story, you'll find Thurston along the hidden path to the Roque Company Headquarters. Floyd has been overworking himself so knock him out to give him time to rest.
├ Brightlands
A Gambling Man - There's a girl in the slums of New Delsta who is concerned about her husband's gambling addiction. Go to the Game Parlor (the Blacksnakes' hideout) and Bribe the Dealer to learn about the Truth of the Game Parlor. Return to the wife to end the quest.

A Genius Inventor - East of New Delsta is an Inventor living in a solitary house that provides the Inventor secondary job. You have to turn in several items to him to unlock all skills/support skills and finish this quest. I suggest checking this great YouTube guide by Zelendes for all the item locations. Subscribe to him while you're at it.

Descended from Royalty - Northeast of Clockbank's Industrial section is a Descendant of Royalty. To find the proof of his lineage, go to the Abandoned Village at night to Entreat the Nyx Royal Family Tree from the NPC near the empty stables.

My Beloved Catharine - There is a Haggard Man near the entrance of Clockbank looking for his beloved Catharine. Guide him West of the Industrial Section to reunite him with his floof.

A Devilishly Delicious Dish - The Quest Giver can be found in the New Delsta Tavern. After accepting his quest, head to Western Clockbank Highroad and use your canoe via the dock Northeast of the save point and head all the way South to reach the Sunken Maw (one of the locations needed for another achievement). SIDE NOTE: I suggest fully looting this place since it's kinda out of the way.

Deeper into the Sunken Maw, there will be a save point. North of this save point is a house with an old man inside. Steal the Special Bait from him then head South and East of the save point to use the stolen bait on a dark spot in the body of water. This will immediately trigger a boss fight (Boss Weakness: ???, Dagger, Bow, ???). Return to New Delsta Tavern after the battle.
STEAL BAIT
USE BAIT

The Bourgeois Boy - Beside the Tutor NPC in New Delsta is a building with a bratty kid inside. To make him see the error of his ways, Allure his wealthy father in Canalbrine. Once successfully Allured, head back to the bratty kid so his father can straighten him out accordingly.

Utterly Exhausted - Outside the theater in New Delsta, there is an NPC who is "utterly exhausted". After starting his quest, simply knock out the creepy Aggravated Woman nearby to solve his problems.

For Whom the Clock Tower Tolls - There is an NPC beside a broken bridge in Clockbank. Guide him to the top of the Clock Tower which can be accessed via the canoe. Come prepared because there will be a boss battle at the top (Boss Weakness: Sword, Spear, Axe, Bow, Lightning).

Veronica's Next Chapter - Veronica can be found in New Delsta after completing Agnea's story. She's looking for gift ideas so maybe someone who knew Dolcinaea in the past can give her good insight. Head to Sai's Eastern District and Scrutinize Platt's Wife to get info on Dolcinaea and Gifts. Watch the cutscenes until the end and feel free to Steal from both Dolcinaea and Veronica afterward for a Star Gown and Battle-Tested Shield!
├ Winterlands
Lingering Love - Southeast of Stormhail is a Dismal Woman who was hurt by a man named Eugis. Once you talk to her to start the quest, Entreat her Treasured Necklace to immediately finish. Alternatively, you can Guide Eugis (Southeast Merry Hills) back to her so he can face the music.

A Disquieting Shop - Knock out the girl beside the General Store NPC in Stormhail to give him some peace. Someone needs to teach this lady the concept of personal space!

Ruffian's Redoubt - There's a Peddler in the Eastern Cape Cold Snows having some bandit troubles. Their hideout is just East of this area. I recommend heading there by water and disembarking on the North side of the hideout. There's another path by land but I feel it takes longer since you'll need to knock out a guard and cross the water again. Once you reach your objective, you'll have an easy battle with some bandits. Head back to the Peddler after taking care of business.

The Baby's Coming - There's a Flustered Villager/soon-to-be father in Cape Cold that needs help finding a Midwife. The Midwife is at the Flamechurch Inn so guide her back to Cape Cold.

The Sword in the Stone - Southeast of Winterbloom is a lady that wants to do some landscaping. Unfortunately, a sword stuck in a stone is getting in her way. Head to Oresrush to find a Retired Miner in the Weapon Shop. Steal a Sturdy Pickaxe from him and return to the lady in Winterbloom.

The Washed-Up Letter - West of Frigit Isle is Lighthouse Island. Over there you can find the Lighthouse Keeper's Wife. She'll mention something about a letter in a bottle which you can then deliver to Ruby in Timberain to complete the quest. She can be found near the Courtroom Northeast of Timberain.

A Present for My Son - There's a Retired Scholar staring out into the sea in Cape Cold. Entreat his Silver Quill from him and bring it to the father blocking a door in Winterbloom.

Melia's Next Chapter - After clearing Castti's chapters, you can find Melia in her Winterbloom residence to start this quest. Find Plukk and her 2 sidekicks in the same area (Winterbloom Thieves' Quarter) as they were in during the main story. Steal the Letter from the Snowhares from Plukk and deliver it to Melia to watch the cutscenes ending the quest at the herb garden. NOTE: You can steal the Battle-Tested Dagger from Plukk and the Brooch of Joy from Melia after completing this story.
├ Wildlands
Wanted: A Good Joke - Beside the Oresrush General Store is a guy who needs to tickle someone's funny bone. Bring him 3 jokes from other Oresrush residents by Inquiring or Scrutinizing information from them. From left to right:
  1. Nikki's Special Joke (above Inn)
  2. Harry's Self-Deprecating Joke (beside Inn)
  3. Ned's Romantic Advice (Tavern)

The Cave Monster - There's a tunnel (Unfinished Tunnel) blocked by a Foreman in Southern Crackridge Wilds. Knock him out to gain access and defeat the boss deep inside to complete the quest (Boss Weakness: Sword, Axe, Staff, Fire).

The Missing Girl - There's a Worried Mother in Gravell who is looking for a missing girl. Before heading out, make sure you have someone who can Guide an NPC home. Head to the Western Gravell Wilds to find the entrance to the Ivory Ravine. Deep inside this ravine is a girl trapped on a small landmass. Before you can reach her, there will be a boss battle (Boss Weakness: Sword, Axe, Fire, ???). Guide her back to her mother to finish the quest.

Reaching for the Stars - An Ambitious Youth in Gravell will complain about being trapped in Gravell. Knock out the grown-ups all over the village so the youth can sneak out.

In Search of the Divine Weapons - Once you find at least 1 Rusty Weapon, turn it in to the Blacksmith in Gravell to start this quest. Zelendes already made a great video guide for this so please refer to his video (and show him some love while you're at it). Once you've collected and turned in all Rusty Weapons, the quest is considered complete.

Stolen Goods - Head to Oresrush: Foundry and KO the guy blocking the door. Inside is a chest containing Stocked Goods. Bring it back to the Quest Giver located East of Oresrush by the exit.

Alpione's Next Chapter - Alpione can be found in Gravell once you complete Ochette's story. She no longer has any work to do. Head out West of Gravell to find a merchant with a Hunting Request (Scrutinize). Head back to Alpione with that request and the quest will play itself out.
├ Leaflands
A Forced Hand - There's a girl named Tiffany in Timberain Castle: Town Square that has some reservations about a man named Margello. To resolve this issue, simply Guide Margello to her. Margello can be found in Montwise's Library.

Crop Revival - There's a Weaver in Cropdale with a request. Head North to glean information from the first NPC you see on the left and then go to a solitary house accessible by water to find a Hidden Item spot containing Crop Tapestry Pattern. Bring it back to him to conclude the quest.

Proof of Innocence - A guard outside of the Timberain Courtroom wants to prove someone's innocence. Simply go west of the courtroom and escort a Sickly Woman back to him as a witness.

Proof of Guilt - Scrutinize a Remorseful Old Man (South of the Timberain Tavern) and it will lead you to a Hidden Item spot (beside the Inn) containing the Azure Sun Sword. Bring this item back to Meylan to complete the quest.

Proof of Justice - Once you've accepted the quest inside the courtroom, scrutinize everyone inside for clues on where to go next. The Clerk will give you a hint about someone in New Delsta. The Reporter will give you a clue about where to search for the weapon. Head to Souther Timberain Trail to search for the Stolen Sword which can be accessed by water. Afterward, head to New Delsta: Backstreets to Scrutinize a Dour Elderly Woman for information about A Killer's Motive. With the evidence in hand, head back to the Quest Giver/Spectator to play out the quest to completion.

The Soused Nobleman - There is a Drunk Aristocrat in the Tavern in Cropdale. Knock him out.

Useless Fruit - This quest can be found along the path leading to Alrond's estate—in front of the house on the left as you turn the corner. The information for this quest can be Scrutinized from the Knowledgeable Villager in Cropdale (near the Inn). Bring the info back to finish the quest.

Through the Child's Eyes - There's a lone girl Southwest of Wellgrove concerned about her parents. Guide her parents at the same time and lead them back to her to conclude the quest. The girl's mother is just East of her location. The girl's stepfather is along the path to Alron'd estate.

Misha's Next Chapter - After completing Partitio's Story, Misha can be found in Alrond's dressing room. He wants to investigate his master's shenanigans so Bribe a couple of merchants in Wellgrove for more information.
  1. Info - Man in a Brown Coat
  2. Info - Garbage Collector
Bring back this information to Misha and the quest will play out to completion.

Mira and the Elderly Guard's Next Chapter - This quest can only be done after completing Throné's story. The Gondola referred to in this quest is beside Lostseed. Teleport to Lostseed and try to head back to the Gondola (the ropeway) to progress and finish the quest.
├ Crestlands
A Mysterious Box - East of the Shrine entrance in Merry Hills there is an unlucky NPC with a Mysterious Box. Steal it away from him and bring it Southwest of Timberain into House Wellows Manor. Deep inside the manor is a Woman in the Ruins. Give the box to her to conclude the quest.

Tourney Champion - There's a worried woman just above the Underground Arena entrance in Montwise. Help her out by knocking out the Fainthearted Youth during the day and taking his place in the tournament. Turns out the woman is Yurinas and they care deeply for each other. Cute. Defeat the arena opponent to finish the quest (Weakness: Sword, Dagger, Axe, ???, ???).

Will Research for Money - There's an Octopus Researcher in Montwise who needs a buddy. Head over to Conning Creek's Tavern to Guide an Octopus Enthusiast back to him.

Cathedral Window Repair - Inside the Flamechurch Cathedral is a Cleric wanting to repair a beautiful window. To do this, you need (L) versions of the Fire, Ice, Lightning, and Wind Soulstones. There are several of these throughout the world, but here are some:
  • A Townsperson in Conning Creek beside a house (Wind)
  • Impresario in Merry Hills just by the North section entrance (Fire)
  • Soldier along the narrow path leading to the Shrine in Merry Hills (Lightning)
  • Scholar in Montwise Library (Fire/Thunder)
  • A Boy inside a house in Tropu'hopu (Ice)

Pilgrim Protection - To complete this quest from the Elder near the church in Flamechurch, we need to bring him 4 Sacred Flame Candles by hook or by crook. Steal/Purchase them from 3 NPCs in Flamechurch and 1 in Flamechurch: Cathedral.
  1. East of the Elder by the Church Entrance
  2. South of the Elder
  3. Inside the Church
  4. Near the Blue Flame at Flamechurch: Cathedral

Ort's Next Chapter - After completing Temenos' chapter, Ort can be found at the entrance of Flamechurch: Cathedral to start his quest. His quest will lead you through the underground path you originally took with Temenos early on. The Cathedral side of this underground passage is currently blocked off so you'll have to take the original route. Deep inside you'll engage in some easy battles and then conclude the quest afterward.

Laila's Next Chapter - After finishing Agnea's story, talk to Laila along the narrow path south of the shrine in Merry Hills. Some cutscenes occur at the shrine and then she runs away out of embarrassment. You can then find her on the bridge overlooking Merry Hills.

Head back to the shrine for more cutscenes. Afterward, Laila will ask you to teach a certain man a lesson. Before that, check out Hermes' inventory and steal her useful items. The man in question can be found just East of your location so knock him out to finish the quest.
├ Hinoeuma
A Tower of Trials - After finishing Hikari's story, the building on the right in the area just before Ku Castle can now be accessed. It's a series of 5 battles that reward you with the Conjurer secondary job once completed. You can save and heal in between battles so this should be a straightforward process.
  • 1st Trial: Dagger, Bow, ???
  • 2nd Trial: Spear, Dagger, ???, Lightning
  • 3rd Trial: Sword, Bow, Fire, ???
  • 4th Trial: Axe, Bow, Fire, Light
  • Last Trial: Spear, Bow, Ice, Dark

Sword Hunter in the Decaying Temple - There's an entrance to the Decaying Temple in the Eastern Sai Sands. You must be alone to enter (recruitable NPCs are not allowed). At the end of this place is a 1v1 boss battle. This boss has a ton of different weaknesses and increasing levels of danger in between breaks. Lots of ways to approach this so just refer to any of these YT videos for some inspiration if you do need help.

The Runaways - There's a lady in Ku with runaway horses. They've actually been stolen by a shady individual. Head to Eastern Wellgrove Trail and toward the Southwest portion of this area to find the culprit. Knock him out and then return to the Quest Giver to complete the quest.

The Strongest - A Childhood Friend is getting annoyed at her 2 friends arguing in the middle of the street in broad daylight. Duel them both to set them straight.

The Treasures of Ku - In the Western building connected to Ku Castle is a bumbling Treasurer who misplaced Ku's national treasures. He's recovered 2 of the 4 but the other 2 are at risk of being lost forever. The Dragon Vase can be stolen from a Suspicious Peddler by Canalbrine's harbor. The Phoenix Fan can be stolen from a Suspicious Man by Crackridge Harbor: Anchorage. Return the treasures to the Treasurer to finish the quest.

Plans from a Ruined Nation - There's a Master Carpenter in the Eastern District of Sai who wants to make some repairs. To do this, he needs the Fort Orochi Plans which can be found in the inventory of a Former U Carpenter located on the first floor of Canalbrine's Tavern. Steal it from him and bring the plans back to the Master Carpenter to finish the quest. The chests nearby will now be accessible.

Mikka's Next Chapter - Once Hikari's story is complete, Mikka can be found along the path to Ku Castle just before the save point. Benkei wants to get her a Kimono. Head over to Agnea's home in Cropdale for a scene. She'll want to see Mikka so Guide her to Ku. From here they start an epic friendship relationship, but the heartwarming scenes are interrupted because Mikka can't find her Earrings. Thankfully, the cutscenes reveal who we need to confront to Steal back her Earrings. Bring it back to her to end the quest.
├ Al's Quests
The Traveler's Bag - The starting location for this quest depends on your starting Traveler. The thief mentioned by the Quest Giver will always be nearby and situated beside a campfire at night. Once located, a mandatory fight will take place so you can retake the bag. Bring it back to Al to conclude the quest.

Procuring Peculiar Tomes - A Tome Specialist in Montwise Library is looking for 3 peculiar tomes.
  1. From the Far Reaches of Hell is in Crackridge inside a chest blocked by a Scholar.
  2. Dispatches from Beastling Island can be found in Beasting Village held by an NPC near the save point.
  3. Curious Legend of the Great Wall is in Southern Stormhail Snows held by a lady looking over Stormhail's entrance.

From the Far Reaches of Hell - Once you've completed the quest above, Al appears on the Eastern part of Montwise Montwise Library and needs help translating the tome. The person who can help translate it is trapped at Nameless Isle because of a boss. Nameless Isle is literally just North of Toto'haha as soon as you set sail. The translator is located at the very top of a hill with a large tree in the middle. This area is being guarded by a boss (Boss Weakness: Sword, Bow, Fire, Ice, Lightning). Once you've saved the translator Georges, glean information from him on How to Decipher Unknown Languages. Bring back this info to Al to finish the quest.

A Gate Between Worlds - This side story is directly tied to the next section of the guide. After gathering all travelers and completing the 3 quests related to Al above, the gate on the ??? Island will open. To reach the island, you must first defeat the whirlpool boss (Boss Weakness: Sword, Spear, Dagger, Axe, ???, Staff → Dagger, Bow, Lightning, Dark) for permanent access through the canal East of Beasting Bay Anchorage.

Once you've disembarked at ??? Island, you must then enter the mysterious gate and defeat the superboss within to finish the quest. Read the next section for more information.

It looks like the 100 Out Cold achievement requires you to knock out 100 unique NPCs, so you might want to add that as a note. I knocked out 27 NPCs in New Delsta 4 times (by going in a circle, walking through the Backstreets to make the NPCs wake up) and it didn't unlock.

I'd like to confirm: I don't need to discover every weakness of every enemy like the first game?

Happy to hear that. <3

Thank you for the brilliant guide! Without this I would've never taken the time to do all the side quests, and would've missed the last location I needed which was tucked away on Frigid Isle. You saved me a lot of time, and I can't imagine how long making this took. You're a legend.

@Cryin' I would just personally clear them. Some dungeons are not part of any main/side quest. You could go through the trouble of finding out which ones aren't, but that sounds like extra work xD
