I should add - the issue only arises with this version, if you just want the second nationality "Catalan" without all the Spanish 4th division homegrown stuff, just use the other file (Copa Catalunya etc)

The issue is that players homegrown at Olot don't count as "homegrown from nation" for other clubs in Spain? Sounds like an unavoidable issue arising from the massive degree of changes we've introduced here.

If you changed all other Catalan clubs to "based nation" "Catalonia", they might be OK, but would then have the same issue with Spanish players, I guess? In truth, I imagine you'll have more than enough homegrown players in every situation. This would only arise if you went to, say, Barca and signed your entire UE Olot squad to move over with you

Just with Olot players, right? We can change every Catalan club to be "based" in Catalonia, I just don't know if that will have unintended effects elsewhere. Plus we want them to be able to use homegrowns from, say, Bilbao

Yes, Barcelona has spain has primary nationality, but if you WERE to sign players from Olot, they will not be added to the homegrown nationality. I just switched club to test the nationality real quick. I did have the same problem when i made my own save, when I tried to make the "sign only lazio" players for my Italian save.

Thanks, I noticed the odd non-Catalan in the youth intake but didn't realize it would cause a problem when signing them. Let me think of something to deal with it. As for Barca, don't they have Spanish primary nationality and are thereby homegrown within nation? Have you tried to register a squad? Might have to brainstorm something for that too

I noticed that some regen players that gets created in the U21 team, does appear to not be catalan. so when Youth intake appears. You can't sign contract with them. is there a fix for this?
Also if you were to play for Barcelona and sign Catalan regen players. they do not register as homegrown players within nation. wich will cause issues when register for Champions League in the future?
