K cool. np.. BTW, Any system with a Faction HQ station has the ship upgrade stations in a topside clear glass dome. G9 is just one I saw in a video, and confirmed. But if you see a Faction HQ (maybe in the various battle/war screens?) you can use the handy ones nearest your chosen faction builds area... This particular Faction HQ is a big ring station. Every faction across the galaxy will have their version.

A Bggie to add is G9, “Chulac” in mine & Dual’s play through too. It has a ring station Faction HQ where you can upgrade your ship tiers (1st!) then levels, then add slots for gear it didn’t come with in the 1st place !
All that will cost ~15 mill for a T1 ship to go T4. Your stats can more than double. My level 6 T1 MfigX ship free from the quest line went to over 50k in shields and armor. Wow!
Might shop for a ship with T3 to start with. Same system has a Hub station with ship sales kiosk. I saw one ship (a type I didn’t want) that was T3 level 15 for only 3.3 mill. That would be a bargain, probably save you 5-8 mill, as long as you like the gear slot types already in it. Ymmv.
