Basic houses (up to Fancy Residence) [ver. 2]
All housing blocks comes from https://pharaoh.heavengames.com/strategy/housing/
Im posting here best one ive always using

Housing block above contain place for 4 temples (diffrent gods). Also it has library and mortuary for some bonus culture rating. They are NOT required for housing develop
NOTE: it will not provide enough entertaiment building to provide "perfect" status

This is old image.
Estates
WARNING: All houses after Fancy Residence do not generate workers! Estates have highest tax income, but watch out, beacuse you will lose many workers that can easily collapse your production chains or services

Culture rating
To get highest culture rating you should get "Perfect" status in entertainment, learning and public health buildings.
They are calculated for total citizens in your city.

Entertainment could be tricky beacuse:
- Pavilon contains 1 juggler's stage, 1 musician's stage and 1 dancer's stage
- Bandstand contains 1 juggler's stage, 1 musician's stage
- Booth contains contains 1 juggler's stage
- 1 juggler's stage supports 400 ppl in city
- 1 musician's stage supports 700 ppl
- 1 dancer's stage supports 1200 ppl
That means 1 pavilon supports 1200ppl in dancing, 700ppl in musicians and only 400ppl in juggling.

Senet house supports 5000ppl
Zoo supports 7500ppl

But what is most important - they need to work so it would really increase your cultural rating.
Buildings in left will do this, buildings on right will only be shown in overseer tab, but will not increase your rating.

This same goes for education buildings (school, library) and public health building - physician, mortuary, dentist,

School supports 300 children
Library supports 800 ppl

You have actually got very little housing. In effect, two bizarres when only one is needed. 16 quads (4 houses merged as 1) when 30 are possible. And finally, you only need medium statues with Fancy residence up to Modest estate.

I would love to know how you posted the images.

@Mono and Six
You use the mouse scroll wheel. Double check key bindings in Options I think.

@Scorpio1be - well its simple - you cant build that :)
On dessert map ive also do this same - put multiple blocks near river. You need only 1 spot of grass for water carrier, it dosent need to stand on 2x2 grass

Good day to you, I have a questio ntowards the common (fancy residence block) when u mirror it up to have it as the shown picture below as a big city block all together.. u use 4x water carriers.. I am mostly stuck on desert-like maps, so not much grassy areas to put the water carrier.. how does on execute this blueprint? .. I am using smaller city blocks alongside the river to give more workerpool. but that big block looks so satisfying to use.. altho it sucks to be i ndesert for now, haha.:cozybethesda: very nice guide i must say.. cheers!

how to keep high culture raiting with this build? for me it almost imposible to have more than 40, and even for this i have to build mortuary instead of one house nearest to pavilion and library instead of gardens near crossroad

@Taglia - if it works and you like it, just use it. Im not claiming that housing blocks from this guide are the only one working, or they are best in terms of ppl/area or something.
