Birmingham Cross-City passenger timetable

This guide includes a timetable of all passenger trains on this route. Great if you just want to explore it as a passenger! Train numbers and length included.

Introduction

I created this timetable using LibreOffice calc, then created a PDF file from it. Screenshots of this PDF file have been added this guide. I can not upload PDF files here on Steam, but you can add these pictures into a document file and create a PDF from it if you want to.

Most and least used stations

With the timetable being done, let's see what station is the most served one first. In this case, it doesn't make much sense to list them all up but pretty much all of the stations from Five Oaks to Longbridge counts here - with one exception. There are six trains per hour each direction, pretty much one train every 10 minutes.

The least used station is Duddeston, where four out of six trains just rush through, leaving only two trains per hour to actually stop here. In Barnt Green, trains to and from Bromsgrove only stop once per hour. However, due to the trains to and from Redditch stopping here every 20 minutes, Barnt Green dodges the bullet of being the least used station. It does however, have got the least used platforms if you don't count a few tracks at Birmingham New Street.
