Mass Effect Legendary Edition: The simplest fix for getting achievements (EA APP FIX) (2023)

In this guide I describe how to solve the EA MISTAKE.

1. THE PROBLEM

From February 14, it is mandatory to install up to a new EA application (EA APP).
This causes problems with getting achievements in ME:LE.
Everything is fine with the first part of the game: you can get achievements. But there are problems with the second and third part - achievements are not counted.

2. PROBLEM SOLUTION

To resolve this issue, you must have the ORIGIN client installed (and delete EA APP if you have it). You need to set the date on the PC to the previous mandatory update date. For example, I set it to February 10th.
After that, when launching ME:LE through Steam, you must refuse to install the EA APP.
Next, we are waiting for the launch of the game and enjoy.
After exiting the game, return the correct date.
It WORKS!

A brilliant solution to a stupid problem. I did as you wrote and everything works perfectly. Every time you have to roll back the calendar to January but what to do. EA failed. They press something that doesn't work.

It doesnt work anymore....worked yesterday after deinstalling the EA app and installing origin. Now I i wanted to start ME2 and saw that I cannnot resume, but just start anew. I still have the files in the BioWare folder but they are not avaialble to use.

What an ingenious solution, I am in awe! You have my deepest gratitude for sharing this workaround, it works for installing Origin as well. I couldnt install it at first, but I set my date to january 1st and then it worked!
