All Destinations Layer Guide

A quick overview on how to achieve the multiple layers per location

The basics

There are different kinds of Endings in Monster Prom 3, these being:

• Destination Endings, which are achieved by reaching 25 of a certain Stat and surviving until the end of a Week.
  Each Stat will have you reach a different Destination (one out of six) with its own layers:
  

  Regular Layer	Is always achieved. You'll unlock this one the first time you reach a Destination.
  Romance Layer	Every Destination is linked to a certain character - romancing them through Deep Conversations while also avoiding a 'Loser' end (none of your Stats should be under 5 and you should be fine) will unlock these layers, one per Destination.
  Storyline Layer	Storylines are comprised of three Random Road Events, which can be triggered by the player after reaching 15 of a certain Stat no earlier than Week 3 - of these, the first two Road Events will work as your regular Prompts (pick one answer to gain/lose some Stats), with the last one being a three-phase Stat Check, a la previous Monster Prom games.

  
  
• Most Valuable Player Endings, which occur once the player has reached a certain Stat threshold in the case of single player runs, or by being the best player in the case of multiplayer runs.
  
  
• Romance Endings, which are achieved by connecting with a Hitchhiker through Deep Conversations. This requires picking them up at a Rest Stop

Hype Destination - Knifeland

The Hype Destination is Knifeland, an amusement park exclusively themed after sharp knives. To reach it, you must accumulate 25 Hype, and it has the following layers:

Knifeland - Romance Layer

The Hitchhiker that you must romance for the Hype Romance Layer is Damien LaVey. This is his Deep Conversation:

"F*ck yeah! What else should I put on my resumé?"

• "Best Trait: passionate about everything I do. I would morder for this job! Yes, I will murder if you need me to. I may murder even if you don't need me to."
  
• "Past Jobs: Prince of Hell. So young and in such a high position already!"
  
• "Languages: Native-level speaker of Infernal Enochian, Abyssal, and Bellsybabble. Fluent in Common Monster and Swearing" [Correct answer]

Knifeland - Storyline Layer

In order to obtain the Hype Destination's Storyline Layer, you'll need to accumulate 15 HYPE no earlier than Week 3 while also being careful of not triggering the Destination no earlier than Week 7 (as the Storyline will be cut off otherwise). Here are the Road Events that make up for it:

Road Event #1 - Bumpin' Uglies
"Sure, why not? Which design do you like best, (NAME)?"

• "The 'Baby on Board' is the better design. You'll avoid full confrontation, since MOST cars will avoid running over a baby!"

• "The 'Just Lots of Eels' is the better design. It doesn't avoid full confrontation, but it provides a f*ckton of eels, which when weaponized are great for full confrontation!"

Road Event #2 - Grandpa Kale's last wish
"Yeah, no way can your zoomer ass read old man cursive. But you're not out of ideas yet..."

• You must find Grandpa's old acquaintances. Old people's texting apparently involved handwriting, so they might understand the will!

• This might be the only time that you can think of that one of those professional calligraphy analysts might come in handy! Hire one!

Road Event #3 - Knife Land's Open Mascot Hiring Event!
This event is a Stat Check!

On this Event, you won't gain and lose certain Stats, but will be tested on the answers you choose and the Stats that are associated with it.

First Check
"Guess it's your turn now. What's your biggest weakness?"

• "My biggest weakness is a bright spot that only shows once during my attack pattern. Allow me to demonstrate!"" (Proceed to attack the HR rep).

• "My weakness is... you." (Proceed to seduce the HR rep).

Second Check
"Okay, not bad. What about you, (NAME)?"

• "I do this trick where I steal kids' noses. Kids don't need those noses; I can put them to better use!" (Proceed to steal the HR rep's nose).

• "I can stay drunk for a very long time! As a matter of fact, I'm drunk right now!" (Proceed to vomit profusely).

Third Check

• "We show the lost child on the park's big screen... then we threaten to cut them in half so the real parents reveal themselves. Parents hate when their children are cut in half!"

You'll gain 5 HYPE for passing this event.

Magic Destination - Dreamed Dominions

The Dreamed Dominions are the Magic Destination. To reach them, you must accumulate 25 Magic. They have the following layers:

Dreamed Dominions - Romance Layer

The Hitchhiker that you must romance for the Magic Romance Layer is Aaravi Mishra. This is her Deep Conversation:

"Uh... okay? You search for the best mount suggestion in your phone..."

• "Secretariat: a celebrity racehorse who remains the undefeated champion thanks to its strict keto diet and its daily dose of scenic strolls in the beach."
  
• "Bisbaal the Battle Boar! It's a seasoned sturdy mount known for being 'mad thicc'." [Correct answer]
  
• "Bigotes, the regular-sized rabbit. It's a very portable mount with the cutest whiskers."

Dreamed Dominions - Storyline Layer

In order to obtain the Magic Destination's Storyline Layer, you'll need to accumulate 15 MAGIC no earlier than Week 3 while also being careful of not triggering the Destination no earlier than Week 7 (as the Storyline will be cut off otherwise). Here are the Road Events that make up for it:

Road Event #1 - Dahlia's Wacky Misadventures
"Don't ask me! Those sorts of questions are what war advisors are for. I'm a general; a woman of action!"

• Summon a powerful creature that's the true heir to the dinosaurs, source of endless eggs, and -- according to old wives' tales -- the true source of chicken nuggies!

• Since you don't know what they use as currency in this other reality, you must acquire the only thing that holds value everywhere: p*rn.

Road Event #2 - Calculester's Dimensional Repairs
"You decide to tell him (AKA make up) the #1 rule of interdimensional travel, which is..."

• Do not alter the course of that reality's timeline by introducing them to Shrek.

Road Event #3 - Previously... on "The Coven"
This event is a Stat Check!

On this Event, you won't gain and lose certain Stats, but will be tested on the answers you choose and the Stats that are associated with it.

First Check
"It's obvious Joy isn't gonna relax until she finishes her saving-the-world bullsh*t, so maybe you should speed this along by getting this guy to spill the beans!"

• If he's not spilling the beans, you may need to do it for him: FLIP THE TABLE TO SPILL THE BEANS HE'S EATING!

• Waterboarding might be too much even for you, so what about... SNOWBOARDING?!

Second Check

• Pull a literal deus ex machina by renting a mechanical crane and tying Scott to it.

• You will never defeat Nu by fighting... you must prey on his pride and challenge him to the only duel you could win... A SNOWBOARDING RACE!

Mind Destination - Cryptid Prom

For the Mind Destination, you'll be visiting a new kind of prom... Cryptid Prom! To do so, you'll have to accumulate 25 Mind, and it has the following layers:

Cryptid Prom - Romance Layer

The Hitchhiker that you must romance for the Mind Romance Layer is the Moss Man. This is his Deep Conversation:

"Sure, a topic that makes academic research on oral history fun and thrilling... easy-peasy... Eh..."

• "'Utterly convincing': a study on how the overuse of adverbs can make gossip sound more believable."
  
• "'Not my Avril Lavigne': examining the tradition of believing celebrities have died and been replaced." [Correct answer]
  
• "'Who cares if they f*cked or not': the importance of incorporating actual truth into gossip to make it work."

Cryptid Prom - Storyline Layer

In order to obtain the Mind Destination's Storyline Layer, you'll need to accumulate 15 MIND no earlier than Week 3 while also being careful of not triggering the Destination no earlier than Week 7 (as the Storyline will be cut off otherwise). Here are the Road Events that make up for it:

Road Event #1 - Spooky Pictures
"You don't know, but you intend to find out! How will you catch this elusive, blurry stalker?"

• Do the "technologically illiterate old person" trick: take a picture but mistakenly hit "record video".

• Lure this creepy cryptid out with every cryptid's favorite food: the creepy pasta.

Road Event #2 - Glitchy Binary
"ERROR. FILES CORRUPTED. REBOOT NEEDED. PLEASE RESET GAME."

• You must contact the people who make a living fighting corruption: investigative journalists!

• Take some time to sit down and search online: "How to fix Monster Prom 3: Monster Roadtrip".

Road Event #3 - Cryptid Investigations
This event is a Stat Check!

On this Event, you won't gain and lose certain Stats, but will be tested on the answers you choose and the Stats that are associated with it.

First Check
"You're pretty sure these aren't those sorts of tests... but anyway:"

• The Bechdel Test: does a piece of fiction feature at least two women talking to each other about something other than a man? It's not about knowing more, but about doing better!

Second Check

• Appeal to the human's clear horniness for cryptids: if she helps you all escape, she can join the Cryptid Prom for some monster-on-human fun!

• You are all in detention and missing prom? According to movies, the only solution is a big, heartfelt speech that reminds the ones in power they were young once too!

Money Destination - Merkingdom Feast

The Money Destination is a Merkingdom Feast, for which you'll have to accumulate 25 Money. It has the following layers.

Merkingdom Feast - Romance Layer

You must romance Miranda Vanderbilt in order to get the Money Romance Layer. This is her Deep Conversation:

"Do you have any ideas?"

• "Film a TV comedy where Miranda must share an apartment with 3 other merpeople. She'll be seen as likeable and down-to-earth!"
  
• "No more public executions! Executions will be held privately to respect people's privacy."
  
• "A 20-foot tall statue of Miranda, but with a twist: the statue is made of cake! Free cake for the people!" [Correct answer]

Merkingdom Feast - Storyline Layer

In order to obtain the Money Destination's Storyline Layer, you'll need to accumulate 15 MONEY no earlier than Week 3 while also being careful of not triggering the Destination no earlier than Week 7 (as the Storyline will be cut off otherwise). Here are the Road Events that make up for it:

Road Event #1 - Helping out Brigadier Beluga (1)
"We can help you, bro; Coach says to leave no soldier or teammate behind! (NAME), what should he do?"

• There's no need for confrontation at all: just ask the workers holding the fort if they're billing these siege-related extra hours.

• A Trojan approach: cook some hot dogs and send them a much-needed hot dog vendor... but hide one or two Merkingdom soldiers inside the cart!

Road Event #2 - Helping out Brigadier Beluga (2)
"You suspect that jumping off a cliff isn't Brigadier Beluga's only option. He could also try..."

• Ordering some pizza to be delivered to the Sacred Sanctuary, then following the pizza delivery person into the sanctuary!

Road Event #3 - Merkingdom-Hell Diplomatic Talks
This event is a Stat Check!

On this Event, you won't gain and lose certain Stats, but will be tested on the answers you choose and the Stats that are associated with it.

First Check
"What would be an unexpected asset for the Merkingdom to offer that'd tip the balance in favor of this treaty?"

• Being underwater gives the Merkingdom juicy intel to barter with. You can offer... THE FULL ICEBERG, EXPLAINED!

• Hell is a very unpopular destination for tormented souls, but that's just because it's missing... its own catchy theme song!

• The fanfic twist: orchestrate a strategic marriage. With the proper intel on who the betrothed should be, you can play into the trope of diplomatic allies-to-lovers.

For the Soul Destination, you'll get to visit the (in)famous City of Vice. But before doing so, you'll have to accumulate 25 Soul, while also achieving the following for its layers:

The Hitchhiker that you must romance for the Mind Romance Layer is Vera Oberlin. This is her Deep Conversation:


"Well, it sounds like it's time for a prison break! How can you help Vera?"

• "There's no shame in delegating, gurl. It might take some trust, but it's always better than testing what Vera Oberlin's breaking point is." [Correct answer]

Road Event #1 - Tubular Eddy says no to Gambling
"Can you think of a creative way to convince a bunch of gambling addicts to give up the incredible rush of gambling?"

• The Gamble to end all Gambles: get the gamblers to gamble on how long they can go without gambling. Are they gambling if they gamble about not gambling?

• Give them a baby to raise collectively. The power of responsible parenting will push them in the right direction.

Road Event #2 - Valerie's Boat Misadventures

Stamina Destination - Veranotone

The Stamina Destination is Veranotone, the hip festival everyone wants to go to during the summer! To get there, you'll have to accumulate 25 Stamina. It also has the following layers:

Veranotone - Romance Layer

The Hitchhiker that you must romance for the Stamina Romance Layer is Liam de Lioncourt. This is his Deep Conversation:

"But maybe it's time to help your friend with a resounding idea that defines the fate of Liam de Lioncourt:"

• "Liam has always flown alone. Maybe it's time for that to change. Maybe it's time for... pairs-figure-skating Liam!" [Correct answer]
  
• "Become something Liam has never been: Larry. Legally change your name. Do it now!"
  
• "Bring poetry into the future so the kids appreciate it again: AI-generated poems; F2P (Free to Poetry); sonnets written in meta-verses; stuff like that!"

Veranotone - Storyline Layer

In order to obtain the Soul Destination's Storyline Layer, you'll need to accumulate 15 SOUL no earlier than Week 3 while also being careful of not triggering the Destination no earlier than Week 7 (as the Storyline will be cut off otherwise). Here are the Road Events that make up for it:

Road Event #1 - Ghosts of Parties Past (1)
"You're no Ghost of Parties Past, but you've been around the dance floor enough times to know the perfect addition to any festival survival kit..."

• The biggest risk is losing your friends and spending the whole festival stressed and looking for them. The solution is a red thread linking each one's index finger at all times.

• The biggest risk is wearing your legs down after three full days of partying. The solution is attending the festival on a horse.

Road Event #2 - Ghosts of Parties Past (2)
"I'm sure (NAME) can help; they're pretty good at scemes! Got any ideas, bro?"

• "Go to the festival site before it starts and bury bottles of alcohol under the ground. When the party's on, you bring a shovel and dig up your secret stashes!"

Road Event #3 - Getting Tommy's "goods"

On this Event, you won't gain and lose certain Stats, but will be tested on the answers you choose and the Stats that are associated with it.

First Check
"Who knew attending a music festival would involve becoming a code-breaker? Life's funny that way! How do you proceed"

• Research the Rosetta Stone from which all drug dealers' codes come from.

• Convince the cops to tell you about their ongoing investigation to decode the Sphinx's complex lingo. It's "for your safety"; you don't want to "accidentally sound like a dealer"!

"Ugh, if we can't get Tommy to agree on someplace then none of us will be able to get stupid on drugs. Any suggestions, (NAME)?"

• Meet at Tommy's comfort zone by having dinner at his parents' house.

• Meet at the one place that's above law and punishment: a gated community.

Third Check
"You've got a funny feeling that Tommy will need more proof than that. Convince him you're not cops so he'll give the ghosts their drugs!"

• "It's only a crime to SELL drugs. If you give us the drugs for free, you can't possibly be incriminated!"
