How to install H1 (MWR Client - H1 MOD)

Walkthrough on how to install H1 Mod Client for MWR

(STEAM/RETAIL VERSION TUTORIAL)

Download MWR-Multiplayer

This step is basic

Go to Library on Steam & Download Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered - Multiplayer.

Installing the client

Now its time to install the client

Visit the Official H1 Website[h1.gg] & Press the big green download button




Once Pressed it will take you to a Install Page[docs.h1.gg], We want to scroll down till we get to "I already have the Steam version", Scroll down and you will see "Installing the H1-Mod client"​, you will want to Press H1-Mods's Github.




Now on the Github, you will need to download h1-mod.exe & h1-mod.exe will start to download.



Once the exe has finished downloading, you will want to drag and drop the exe inside of your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered - Multiplayer Folder.

NOTE: MY FOLDER WILL BE DIFFRENT TO YOURS

Loading H1

It's time to play

Now you have installed H1, Congrats. Its now time to load the client.

Open H1-Mod.exe and you will be greated with this screen



For this guide we will be using Multiplayer, So we are going to Click Multiplayer. Once Pressed a splash screen of the H1 Logo will pop up along with a Console, not too long after the game will load.

You will be greeted with a Notice to update your game 99% of times you will want to press yes.



Once updated press Play Online and get ready to play some H1.

Error Fixing

Have some errors? dont worry i got you

Out of Memory Error

• Create a shortcut of H1-Mod on your desktop.

• Right click the shortcut, and press "Properties".

• At the end of "Target" section, please add a space and -memoryfix and click apply.

• This should generate a valid players2 folder, and after that, you can remove the memory fix parameter.

Missing File error

• The inability to load the necessary files (MISSING FILE eng_code_pre_gfx_mp.ff) usually happens due to file structure in Steam version and can be fixed by using MWR Files Cleaner[github.com] or doing the following:
  - Move all .bik files to /raw/video/ folder
  - Move all .ff, .pak files and localization folder (english or any other) to /zone/ folder

• Install DLCs

• Make sure your language zone folder is valid. The default language is english, so this could also be it.

Failed to read game binary error

• Copy the h1-mod.exe into your Modern Warfare Remastered install folder and run it from there.

Create2DTexture error

• Any of the following can fix this issue:
  - Disable shader cache preloading
  - Update GPU drivers
  - Free up RAM
  - Lower your graphics settings
