The Global Map (Part One)
The Global Map in this game is the place where you carry out all global strategic actions, starting with the relocation of troops and ending with economic manipulations with political decisions.

The basics.
On the main interface in global map mode, the top (number "1" in the screenshot below) displays the amount and availability of resources, provisions and funds, when you hover over it, information is displayed with the names of populated places where they are located. On the right side block there are buttons that display the corresponding menu: technology research of production (number "2" in the screenshot below), production (number "3" in the screenshot below), construction (number "4" in the screenshot below), politics (number "5" in the screenshot below) and trade (number "6" in the screenshot below). We will talk more about these options later. Under the buttons on the right is a list (number "7" in the screenshot below) with the names of populated places and the number of reservists located there, as well as the names of the battalions under your control, their level and the number of soldiers in them. Under number "8" in the screenshot below is the speed switching:

Screenshot #1

To select troops or a populated place on the global map, you need to click the left mouse button on them. If the troops are stationed at a populated place and there is a shield symbol above the battalion name (number "1" in the screenshot below), this means that when enemy troops attack this populated place, your troops will be able to participate in its defense, replenish ammunition with fuel and provisions (number "2" in the screenshot below), rearm with weapons and military equipment available in the populated place (number "3" in the screenshot below) or replenish the battalion with a new squad (number "4" in the screenshot below). To switch between the populated place and the battalion, in such a position of the troops, you need to click on it again with the left mouse button. In this menu, regardless of the location of the battalion, it is possible to disband the squads (number "6" in the screenshot below), as well as the possibility to rename the battalion (number "5" in the screenshot below) or disband it completely (number "7" in the screenshot below), leaving all weapons and live force in the nearest populated place. You can also find out the amount of ammunition, weapons, captured military equipment and other things by switching to the tab marked with number "8" in the screenshot below:

Screenshot #2

Management of battalions.
To move troops, select a battalion and right-click on the area you want to send it to. You can also attack an enemy battalion or populated place in the same way.
To give a queue of orders, press the "SHIFT" key:

Battalions can be merged or exchange troops by moving a battalion to an area where another battalion is already stationed, as shown in the video below. There is also the possibility to change the troops in the battalion, by hovering the cursor over one of the troops and holding down the left mouse button to move it to the desired position:

In the battalion menu, you can see how full the ammunition is for your combat equipment (number "1" in the screenshot below). Also, if you hover the cursor over a squad and click the left mouse button, you can find out what the soldiers in that squad are equipped with and how many rounds of ammunition they have:

Screenshot #3

Replenishing battalions with manpower takes place near populated areas, as already mentioned above (number "4" on screenshot #2). To do this, it is necessary that there are "reservists" and weapons in the settlement. We will tell you about where to get reservists below.

Populated areas.
Currently, there are 4 types of populated areas in the game:
  • Cities
  • Industrial areas
  • Farms
  • Airports
In cities, all main production is concentrated, as well as in industrial zones, but in addition to production, mining of various metals necessary for the production of weapons is carried out in industrial zones.

On the territory of farms, in contrast to the above-mentioned populated areas, the extraction of resources necessary for the production of provisions (such as bread or meat) is carried out, as well as products necessary for stability in your country (such as tobacco and alcohol), which can cause unrest if levels decrease. Airports are used for the transportation of troops and military equipment. But the main difference of farms is that with sufficient "population" (number "1" on the screenshot below) they appear reservists (number "2" on the screenshot below) that are needed to create battalions or replenish their manpower.

In the menu of settlements, there is a tab (number "3" on the screenshot below), by clicking on which you can see the units in the defense of this settlement, the number and weapons of which can be changed similarly to the battalion:

Screenshot #4

In order to inspect the positions of the defenders of the settlement, you must click on the following button in the above tab:

To create a new battalion, click on this button in the above tab:

But let's return to the main tab of the populated area menu, which displays the property and reservists located in it. To transport anything from one point to another, you need to click on the item with the left mouse button, after which, in the opened menu, select the destination, the amount necessary for transportation, and, if necessary, set up an automatic weekly repeat of these transports, as shown in the video:

It is worth noting that the weekly repetition of transportation is extremely useful for the automatic delivery of food to settlements.

To destroy an item, in this menu, instead of the settlement, select the line indicated in the screenshot below under the number "1", and to put it up for sale, the line under the number "2", but more on this will be discussed later:

Global map (part two)
Economy.
As we mentioned earlier, in the global map interface there is a button that opens the trading menu (number "6" on screenshot #1). The left side of this menu displays items that you put up for sale through the menu shown on screenshot #5. The right side of this menu displays items that your trading partners have put up for sale.
It is worth noting that batches of products are sold in full and not in parts. Therefore, it is recommended to split them into several small batches, as trading partners may not have enough money to purchase one large batch:

Screenshot #6

In order to trade with a large number of neighboring countries, you need to enter into a trade agreement with them, which will be discussed later in the context of politics.

Politics.
The game has a system of relationships between states. You can establish relations with other countries using the tools in the menu that opens by clicking the button indicated by number "5" on screenshot #1. With countries that are not in a state of "war" with you, you can enter into trade agreements, non-aggression pacts, alliances, and request permission for troops to pass through their territory. The chance of successfully concluding any agreement depends on the amount of relationship points (number "1" on the screenshot below), which can be obtained by paying a small amount of money:

Screenshot #7

Research.
To research new types of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment, you need to click on the button indicated under number "2" on the previously shown screenshot #1. In the menu that opens, there are 3 tabs at the top: ammunition, weapons, vehicles. When you hover over the cursor on an unexplored weapon, information about the caliber is displayed (number "1" on the screenshot below). Some types of weapons and ammunition have a modification option, for which you should click on the gear icon, indicated on the screenshot below with number "2:"

Screenshot #8

Production.
To produce weapons, provisions, and resources, you need to click on the button indicated by the number "3" on screenshot #1. In the menu that opens, items available for production are displayed on the left, hovering over which you can find out the required resources for their production, as indicated in the screenshot below by the number "1". Items and resources already in production or mining are displayed on the right. It is worth noting that items whose production is suspended due to lack of resources are highlighted in red font (information about the missing resource is indicated in the place indicated in the screenshot by the number "2"). The production or mining speed increases over time from 20% to 225% (number "3" in the screenshot below), and when production/mining is canceled, this indicator is reset:

Screenshot #9

To create additional production cells, you need to open the "construction" menu, which we will discuss later.

Construction.
To mine a new type of resource or increase production/mining rates by adding additional cells in the production menu, the game provides the construction of factories, plants, farms and other facilities. The construction menu is opened by clicking the button indicated on screenshot #1 number "4 ". On the left side of this menu, the enterprises that you already have at your disposal are displayed. By clicking on one of the cells in this part of the menu, the available facilities for construction and the products they produce will be displayed in the right part (number "2" in the screenshot below). When you hover over these cells, information about the amount of products produced by these facilities and the resources and money required for their construction will be displayed (number "1" in the screenshot below):

Screenshot #10
Combat mode
When attacking enemy troops and settlements, as well as when defending against an enemy attack, the game switches to combat mode, the basis of which is to control the units of your battalion.

Combat mode interface.
The bottom left corner of the screen displays the number of soldiers in your battalion (number "1" in the screenshot below) and the number of soldiers in the enemy battalion (number "2" in the screenshot below). In the lower right corner (number "3" in the screenshot below) displays information about the number of rounds in the clip, the total number of rounds, the firing mode, the number and type of grenades, and the character's health level that you are currently playing as. The units of your battalion, the number of soldiers and their number are displayed on the right side of the screen (number "4" in the screenshot below):

Screenshot #11

Squad management.
You can select a squad by pressing a key on the keyboard with a number corresponding to the squad number, after which control over it becomes available (by pressing the same key again, the squad is deselected). To select all units, press the "Tab" key.
To order a squad to move to a certain place, you need to select it and right-click, as shown in the video:

As you may have noticed, at the bottom of the screen, when selecting units, the game gives us hints:

Screenshot #12

But also, in this mode, there is an alternative control of the units, carried out through the Command Wheel menu. This menu is activated by holding down the keys "1", "2", "3"..."0" or "Tab":

Screenshot #13

When you hover over each item of this menu, a hint about their purpose is displayed in its center, but we will discuss some items with you separately.
The number "1" , in the screenshot above, indicates the buttons responsible for turning on or off automatic shelling by artillery, which in some situations allows you to save ammunition; the number "2", in the screenshot above, indicates a button that allows you to switch between squad members, as shown in the following video:

Squad management also happens in tactical mode, which we will cover in the next chapter of our guide.

Features.
We already mentioned the levels of battalions earlier, in chapter "Global map (part one)". To remind, the levels of battalions are displayed in the global map interface, in the form of a rank icon next to the battalion name (number "7" on screenshot #1). These levels increase after successful combat operations and affect the accuracy of shooting and the morale of your soldiers.
Tactical mode
In combat mode, there is the option to switch to "tactical mode", which allows you to control the actions of your units from a bird's-eye view.

To switch to "tactical mode", you must press the "M" key.

Squad management.
A distinctive feature of unit management in this mode is the ability to select troops by holding down the left mouse button, as well as targeting enemy squadrons with artillery, as shown in the video:

Also in tactical mode, when sending a selected squad, hold down the right mouse button so you can specify in which direction it will be facing:
