Guide - Gore Screaming Show [visual novel]

GSS guide; How to get all 15 endings (all-ends). This guide is for the JAST USA release or the Steam Patched version. One can not use this guide playing a vanilla steam copy. This guide may contain spoilers.

Controls (mouse and keyboard)

Move mouse to top of screen for options menu
Left click to advance

- Shortcut Controls:
S Key = Save Game
L Key = Load Game
C Key = Settings Menu
Space Bar = Hide Text Window
Shift Key = Skip Text
Up Arrow Key = Backlog
A Key = Auto Mode
Right Click = Return To Game

Notes

After finishing Akane’s, Aoi’s and Kiika’s routes, Yamiko’s route is unlocked. After clearing Yamiko’s route, Yuka’s route is unlocked. After finishing the game there are still optional cg (Black Sheeps all heroines version) to collect under the cg collection header and a secret ending. For the secret ending you must clear all heroine routes. There are a total of fifteen heroine endings to clear.

This guide has save and load spots to effectively gain all endings. After the first route you can skip the prologue on a new game. To start Yamiko’s and Yuka’s routes you must start a new game. You can skip the prologue.

The good endings are always at the last choice in this guide and the bad endings are before the load points.

The game uses affection points (there will be colored hearts after certain choices) to determine the ending you get. It is advised to follow the guide even if the choice hurts the specific heroine’s bonds. You should do this because certain bad endings will be locked if you get too close to the target heroine. For example if you pick all of Kiika’s correct bond choices you can not get [The Avenger’s Requiem] Ending.

You do not need to select all of the correct bond choices to get the good endings. If you want to see what a certain choice does you can always save and load the game without any consequences.

Kazuyagi Akane [Childhood Friend]

- Note: In my experience, it seems that one has to make a combination of pro-Akane and pro-Aoi choices in order to get Aoi’s good-end. If you focus on pro-Aoi choices only and ignore Akane, then you’ll ultimately get the ‘Aoi through the Looking Glass’ ending.

For example, if you follow the Aoi-path good-end guide up until the mansion-enter choice, then pick “We shouldn’t, not when we’re in the middle of an assignment.” [+1 Aoi-point, -1 Akane-point] instead of the guide’s recommended “I guess we could check it out.” [+1 Akane-point, -1 Aoi-point], you’ll ultimately get an Aoi bad-end; despite picking a pro Aoi-choice, as you have lost a Akane-point needed for Aoi good-end.

In any case, following the guide’s recommended sets of choices should lead to whichever endings you’re going for.

Misono Kiika [Familiar Face]

- Note: It may seem counterproductive to pick choices such as 'Ask Aoi out' when on Yukari-path, but if you don't do so, Kyoji will gradually become obsessed with Yuka, and this obsession will ultimately lead to a bad-end.
