Rattle Me Bones

Back from the 1989 game of the same name, Rattle Me Bones plunders the land of Aether in search of Treasure!

Welcome aboard, mateys. Rattle Me Bones, Rattle Me Bones. Take what ye will, but don't Rattle Me Bones! Spin the wheel for the treasure to take! Careful my friends, or he'll rattle and shake! Rattle Me Bones! Turn the lights low, there's a frightenin' glow, but don't RATTLE ME BONES! (trumpet solo) Rattle Me- Rattle Me- Rattle Me Bones. You can use your skill to take what ye will. You can take your fill, but don't RATTLE ME BONES! Batteries not included. From IDEAL.

Main Gimmick - Take What Ye Will

Getting hit during the active frames or endlag of your normals will cause you to drop your weapon! This will make your move worse until you pick it up again!

However, not having an item is not necessarily always a bad thing. Spinning the wheel will cause a powerful explosion hitbox on all items on the ground! Not only that, but the less items that Rattle has, the more powerful he will be when RATTLING HIS BONES!

You can also hold the attack or strong input as your your strong moves end to manually throw the item to get rid of it!

On the character select screen, you can select different Voice Packs for Rattle Me Bones!

NSpecial - Captain's Locket

A magical locket that Bones cannot drop that pulls all of his missing items toward him. Use it to bring your items closer to you, or to set up explosion hitboxes with the wheel!

FSpecial - Spin the Wheel!
-----------------------------------------
Rattle throws out a spinner wheel that stops after traveling a short distance. If Rattle hits the wheel, it will begin to spin!

While spinning, the wheel has a constant, weak hitbox. This can be used to control a decent amount of stage space, or to extend combos by knocking opponents into it!

When the wheel stops spinning, it will make a noise, causing all of Rattle's missing items to explode!

DSpecial - RATTLE ME BONES

Channel your inner skeleton and RATTLE YOUR BONES! This is a fast-acting, but weak move that is VERY active.

For every item Rattle is missing, this move increases in power.

Holding the input lets you delay the activation and increase it's power by one level (equivalent to one more missing item).

USpecial - Abandon Ship!
-----------------------------------------
Bones ditches his ship wheel and launches himself upward. This move launches Rattle up a considerable distance, and he maintains air control, but is extremely vulnerable.

Try landing on your opponents!

Due to the nature of the design of the character, expect a LITTLE BIT of jank. I'll be working on what bugs I can find, so if you find any let me know here in the comments, or in the discord.

Characters made in joint by AmberLearner and I are NOT designed for any kind of competitive play.
I don't have enough time to actively maintain these characters from a balance perspective, so I would prefer it if these characters weren't added to competitive workshop rosters. These characters straight up have some jank that WILL ruin someone's day.
This warning really only applies to any bracket looking to create a competitive atmosphere. Casual brackets are perfectly okay as long as everyone's okay with a lil bit of jank!
