Intro
Please note - this guide is currently under development. I didn't particularly enjoy the game, so I'm taking a break after completing it before I fully flesh out this guide to the level I'd like it to be. For now, this is what I've got.

It's basically just the price of the potions in every contest, so you know what you're up against every contest before the day, and you can plan accordingly and not brew until you know you're onto a potential winner.

A note to remember: You get to haggle with Robin during the contest. Whilst you can avoid this entirely by having a potion worth more than your opponents and win automatically, you still have a chance to bump up the price of your potion. Robin has a very high patience meter, so don't panic if you don't quite have the number needed. This is just for "no contest" achievement requirements.

Don't forget - you only need two out of three to win. Focus on the two easiest potions and completely ignore the last one. You won't be penalised. (You do not need a spare potion in your inventory to sacrifice to the one you didn't do, so don't worry about that.)

Feel free to put strong recipes in the comments.
1st Contest - Roxanne
Round 1: Health Potion - 72 (Cheat sheet: 91)
Round 2: Fire Potion - 77 (Cheat sheet: 91)
Round 3: Mana Potion - 85 (Cheat sheet: 101)
2nd Contest - Corsac
Round 1: Greater Ice Tonic - 215
Round 2: Greater Sight Enhancer - 215
Round 3: Greater Speed Potion - 215
3rd Contest - Finn
Round 1: Grand Poison Cure - 450
Round 2: Grand Thunder Tonic - 510
Round 3: Grand Stamina Potion - 495
4th Contest - Anuberia
Round 1: Superior Silence Cure - 1,200
Round 2: Superior Tolerance Potion - 1,440
Round 3: Superior Insight Enhancer - 1,530
5th Contest
For posterity, this is Robin. I just didn't want to put it as the title. Despite the opponent, you can still haggle, so don't panic thinking you have to get a no contest result.

Round 1: Masterwork Radiation Tonic - 3,800
Round 2: Masterwork Curse Cure - 3,600
Round 3: Masterwork Seeking Enhancer - 3,750
Beginners Tips
Struggling to beat it? Ain't no shame in that game. Here's some beginners tips to beating Roxanne and Corsac. These tips do not carry on past Finn/halfway through Finn. The second half of the game gets much easier when you have breathing room with your money, and these "tips" no longer apply.

  • The competitions run on a two out of three contest system, meaning only 2 out of the 3 potions are needed - the cheat sheet below will give you a potion recipe for each rounds per opponent if you're struggling. (There's also great recipes if you rummage through all the guides on steam).

  • Buy the Mudpack Cauldron immediately, and the Ocean Cauldron after the first competition. Make sure you're swapping into your new cauldrons before you brew anything - they aren't equipped automatically. The Crystal Cauldron is a trap, as odd-numbered cauldrons will take most ingredients but won't give you more potions, effectively wasting money. Always buy Even-numbered cauldrons only.
I personally bought mudpack(1), ocean(2), steel(3), arctic(4) and magical wasteland(5) cauldrons each week respectively, and just bought duplicates of the highest available week if I needed more. It was my priority to upgrade the cauldrons to max preferably before Oswald's halfway point warning.

  • Always fill your cauldron and use the max ingredients even if it might tip the potion stability sometimes, otherwise you are wasting time and money. More ingredients in the pot? More potions as a result.. For example, find a couple items that work perfectly early on? Buy three of each item, for a total of 6 ingredients. (I personally do not recommend buying the Feyberry, Mandrake Root or Sack of Slime in the shop for potions. There are better ingredients. Leave them as gifts for people.)

  • Buy only what you need, when you need it. Don't buy unnecessary potions or ingredients in case you need 'extra' - wasting money impacts you harshly at first. Recheck your recipe book at the store in the top left to never waste a trip, as you're also on a time limit. You're better off using your money to invest on Baptiste's expeditions and go on adventures, and Baptiste take priority between the two. Use the 2 spare potions with every competition craft to make cash for the next week, etc etc.

  • Potions are better when perfectly balanced, with the larger the number on the ingredients - the better the item. (This changes as you progress and have to consider traits, but it works for these first couple weeks.)

  • Initially, don't accept custom orders unless you literally have the potion ready. They take a lot of time up, and cost a lot, and do not roll over after the competition, meaning you could potentially lose them if you accept it a day beforehand.

  • Don't make potions for your adventurers - but still use the ones Mint gives you for it (aka, don't sell them like I did. They're worthless and better to give you a boost in initial ingredients). They can still get you stuff even if you give them nothing. But also don't feel your adventurers have to be adventuring. If you don't want to send them because you have everything you need, or you're a bit low on money, don't waste your coins - just passively invest with Baptiste as and when new stuff appears, and then give Quinn the new ingredient so that you can buy more of it yourself without relying on a source.

  • Potions in the window and on the shelves still count towards the contest - put your important potions in the windows displays so you don't accidentally sell them, and boost your weaker potions for sale on the shelves.

  • Take your time. You only need to be brewing potions about three days before the competition. Do not panic craft something with trash ingredients only for Baptiste to offer the best ingredient for it the next morning.(You can also save scum your visits to Baptiste for better ingredient rerolls - just make sure you leave the requisition menu before you quit to title to avoid a glitch)

  • Keep the Greater Mana Potion from Roxanne's contest if possible. You can use it in a story quest days later, instead of needing to rebrew them.

  • Don't touch Salt and Pepper's treasure, Roxanne's charms or Luna's Marketing until you're confident. It is a lot of money to potentially waste and can ruin your runs from lack of money to buy ingredients if you aren't careful, or don't know what you're doing with it.

What do you mean custom orders do not roll over after the competition?
If i accept one on day 19 and it has a deadline of 3 days, I surely could still turn it in on day 21?

Also by "Potions in the window and on the shelves still count towards the contest" you meant "you can still select potions currently on display", you worded it very confusingly.
