Forza - Configuration steps

Setup guide for Forza games

PC

In the Game tab of DashPanel server select the Forza game you wish to configure and follow the instructions.

If your version of Forza is from the Microsoft Store you must add an exemption for it to be able to transmit data locally. In this case press the Add exemption button. Make sure the server is running as Administrator to allow it to add the exemption successfully.

Manually add exemption

If you wish to manually add the exemption run a command prompt as administrator and type the following line: CheckNetIsolation.exe LoopbackExempt -a -n=PACKAGENAME

Replace PACKAGENAME with only the text in quotes

• Forza Motorsport 7 = "microsoft.apollobasegame_8wekyb3d8bbwe"

Include quotes.

In DashPanel set the connect mode to Forza.
Select your chosen port.
Press the connect button on the bottom right and make note of your IP Address.

Enter the options menu in FM7


Enter the HUD submenu



Turn on Data Out.
Set Data Out IP Address to your IP Address noted from DashPanel.
Set the port to your chosen port.
Set the format to Car Dash.

Forza Horizon 4/5

Note there is a known issue with FH4 on some Xbox models.
Data Out Telemetry is not working on Xbox Series X|S.

Enter the Settings menu in FH4/5


Enter the HUD and GAMEPLAY submenu


Turn on Data Out.
Set Data Out IP Address to your IP Address noted from DashPanel.
Set the port to your chosen port.
