Nano-Virus - Mega Brutal Guide (Guaranteed Win & Perfect Score)

The goal of this guide is to beat Nano-Virus on Mega Brutal with a perfect score which can be achieved if you follow this guide step-by-step and make sure to manage the speed of the game to a level you can always click on Red, Orange, and Blue bubbles and time the final ability just right.

(NOTE: This guide states a Guaranteed Win & Perfect Score because it guarantees it so long as special events or closed ports like Greenland that while prepared for still create random chance and there is no guarantee that your first go of it will lead to either a win or a win with a perfect score but if tried a 2nd or 3rd time will lead to what is promised! It is impossible with all but Necroa-Virus & Fungus to guarantee a win each and every time due to random chance which we have influence but no direct control over.)

This particular guide was requested by a number of players and I so I hope you find this to be the answer you were looking for (remember if for some reason it fails, just give it another try or two and it will eventually give you a perfect score on mega brutal as stated in the Overview!).

Shall we begin?

Nano-Virus - Genetic Code

I've found this virus requires a good deal of juggling and the below genes (my trusty friends) were just what I needed!

• ATP Boost
  
  • We're going to want to setup our initial symptoms quick boosting the severity of our virus which is good if you're in need of DNA.
• Genetic Mimic
  
  • From the very beginning the Nano-Virus Cure progress has already begun. We can obtain all the DNA we need via other means and have plenty to spare but we need to slow the cure down if we're to achieve a perfect score and win this!
• Aquacyte
  
  • Greenland can be a pain especially with random events and one of our top goals is to make sure to infect this Country before they close their ports!
• Urbophile
  
  • Sweden and Canada can sometimes take their sweet time to spread the bacteria making this gene vital to our success.
• Sympto-Stasis
  
  • With the Nano-Virus we need to spread it fast and hard as well as making it just fatal enough not to kill off a portion of the population and saving the rest. There is a plan to this madness and this gene allows for it.

Nano-Virus - Choose Starting Country

Saudi Arabia plays a vital role once again due to it's proximity to important Countries and locking down those that would deny you a win (Greenland). India and China are favorites for many but I've had more luck here and so this it where it will all begin!

Nano-Virus - Symptoms :: Phase One

These initial symptoms are how we begin this guide and build up the severity of our virus (bonus DNA woo!) and of course those that would normally hit progression of the cure hardest are free of any DNA cost.... Why not?

• Nausea
  
• Rash
  
• Cysts
  
• Hyper Sensitivity
  
• Paralysis
  
• Coma
  
• Insomnia
  
• Paranoia
  
• Seizures

Nano-Virus - Abilities :: Phase One

Jump in here real quick to set off an important ability and then we're off to spread the love!

• Code Fragment Interception
  
  • I prefer to sort out my Symptoms early to speed things along but we want to prevent the signal transmitting the cure by evolving this ability (explains why the cure is already progressing before the public knows anything about it and can join in) but you can start with this at the beginning if you prefer as to not forget and evolve it right away.

Nano-Virus - Symptoms :: Phase Two

With the intent of further infecting others, increasing severity, and gathering up more DNA not to mention letting the random mutation handle a more expensive and important symptom as we play (not vital that there be any mutations), we set upon the additional Symptoms below.

• Abscesses
  
• Sweating
  
• Coughing
  
• Pneumonia
  
• Sneezing
  
• Skin Lesions

Nano-Virus - Transmission

We're going to keep it simple but these are necessary! The others can help but I've found them to waste DNA as it spreads quickly enough without and we need to manage our DNA properly.

• Air 1
  
• Water 1
  
• Air 2
  
• Water 2
  
• Extreme Bioaerosol

Nano-Virus - Abilities :: Phase Two

Alright, we've got momentum with our symptoms and delivery with transmission but the cure has been progressing this whole time and I think we should do something about it while also focusing on beefing up our virus to withstand the elements!

• Radical Elements Stabilized
  
  • This basically messes with the signal and cuts progress down considerably allowing us to focus on spreading our virus and doing some significant damage as quickly as possible.
• Cold Resistance 1
  
• Cold Resistance 2
  
• Heat Resistance 1
  
• Drug Resistance 1
  
• Drug Resistance 2
  
• Drug Immunity
  
  • Like Drug Resistance, Drug Immunity helps prevent modern medicine from doing it's job which is great in wealthy Countries.

At this point return to the World Map and collect up DNA that will be sprouting up all over the globe rapidly (again manage the speed of the game so you don't go and miss a bubble) and quickly switch back to evolving more Abilities.

• Code Segment Interception
  
  • Think of it as Code Fragment Interception 2 again intended to mess with the kill switch signal.
• Replication Factory Overload
  
  • Messes with the virus replicators for a period of time boosting infectivity. Unfortunately once used it damages the viruses ability to infect (minor) which is why this has been put off till now.

Jump back to the World Map and grab additional DNA that should sprout up after setting off RPO which we just mentioned above and then back to Abilities!

• Genetic Hardening 1
  
• Genetic Hardening 2
  
• Encryption Breached
  
  • Once again we're disrupting the signal which again cuts the broadcast cure progress down significantly!

Nano-Virus - Symptoms :: Phase Three

Alright, most of the world is infected and dying but not fast enough yet we need to be careful because if we make the virus too fatal at this point we risk killing off hosts too quickly saving portions of the population in other Countries.



We're going to go ahead and avoid Total Organ Failure because as I mentioned above we need them to die fast but too fast can lead to tears. The list below are Symptoms that should be immediately evolved and the focus for just how lethal our virus will be. But don't let that stop you from increasing it by evolving other Symptoms BUT SAVE ENOUGH FOR OUR 'Broadcast Interceptor Overload' ABILITY as it will be required for a perfect score.

• Insanity
  
• Dysentery
  
• Necrosis
  
• Hemorrhagic Shock

Again we want to speed things along so you can purchase symptoms like you see in the screenshot above as the population of Earth dies our DNA points will go up but not forever and people will be dying rapidly. Just don't get carried away or waste on Total Organ Failure as we need those points for the final Ability we just mentioned in CAPS! This ability must be timed right and if you kill everyone off before you can use it cause you used up all your DNA then you won't earn a perfect score.

Nano-Virus - Abilities :: Phase Three

So we've infected and pretty much decimated the world. You can wait for the pop-up declaring humanity lost to help you time this final ability.



Try to wait it out till around 50,000 to 150,000 people are left alive like in the image below.



Once here it's time to set off our final ability and go for the perfect score!

• Broadcast Interceptor Overload
  
  • Like the abilities 'Radical Elements Stabilized' & 'Encryption Breached' this will overload the broadcast signal cutting down the overall cure progress %, but unlike before it's temporary and the reason we waited till the last second to set it off otherwise after a short time it would return to the original progress % and that perfect score would be out of reach and you'd have to start from the beginning if that is what you were hoping to achieve.

Nano-Virus - Conclusion

We've overloaded the satellite broadcasting the cure and thus wiped out humanity with their own experiment! Or it was space debri... This has led to (if timed right) a good decrease in what our cure progress bar indicates.



For many of you (if Greenland isn't currently laughing at you) this means congratulations!



If no Island shut down it's ports and you followed the guide exactly as it was written, lost no DNA, and timed everything right (which would be described in the guide so players wouldn't have to guess) you should see a Scoreboard like the one below showing you've won Mega Brutal with a Perfect Score!
