Valve Index Controller Support

In this guide I'll show how to configure your Index controller bindings to work for Paradox of Hope

Navigate to Controller Bindings

First navigate to SteamVR controller settings, the screenshots shown are from the desktop
but will be very similar to what it looks like in VR. Once in the controller settings select "Manage Controller Bindings"

Switch to Custom Binding

Once the next menu opens, select Paradox of Hope from the drop down list. Then switch the slider from "Default" to "Custom". Then select "Choose Another" It should open a menu where both your personal bindings and community shared bindings can be found.

Activate The Custom Binding

Once you're in the menu where you can select different bindings, look for "Valve Index Support Bindings (LATEST) by me. Click "Activate" and it should automatically apply the bindings

The bindings may not take effect until you have restarted your game. This binding is an adaptation of Echoe87's bindings except with lower grip threshold and "Keep button clicked as long as its touched" is turned on. Trying to play previously with no modifications to their bindings made it so I would always drop my weapons unless I'm gripping the life out of the controller. With these updated bindings Index Controllers almost feel native in my opinion. Please let me know if there is any edits / translations you would like to see in this guide
