Halo CE HUD toggle

This mod lets the user play any Halo CE map or level without the HUD showing
(only in custom games or campaign). Very useful to record clean map footage & for clean screenshots.

Take screenshots & video up to 4k (or whatever your monitor resolution). Sapien is locked at 480p or 720p, so this is the better option for map screenshots.

1) Subscribe, then navigate to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\976730\2904197648
(or whatever drive directory your steam workshop contents are at).

2) Copy the 3 files that start with 'd3d' and also copy the 'Shaders' folder.

3) Paste them into your \Win64 folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\MCC\Binaries\Win64

4) Start up MCC with easy anti-cheat disabled.
5) Load any stock or custom map/level.
6) Press caps lock to toggle the HUD on/off.
7) Press down on the D-pad to toggle the HUD on/off with an Xbox controller.

NOTE: You'll have to delete the 'd3d' files from \Win64 in order to play matchmaking again. You can keep the 'Shaders' folder in \Win64 and still play matchmaking.

•When loading up your game for custom map screenshots, be sure to set Starting Weapon & Secondary Weapon to <None> to get rid of the 1st person weapon model.

•For a completely clean HUD, turn off the in-game timer in Settings>Gameplay>Game Settings

•Use with the Green Screen Map mod for making cool video edits and memes.

-Custom Game Options-
There is also an option to toggle on/off the little green triangle above your teammates that may be useful when using the flycam mod. In custom game options, select Indicator Options>Friends Indicator On Screen
Select No to get rid of the green waypoint that normally floats above your buddy's head. This setting is set to Yes by default.

-Alternative Flycam method-
Download the Halo: CE - MCC mods tools and follow this guide [docs.google.com] to use the flying camera with debug controls in halo_tag_test.

1. To customize keybinds, open the d3dx.ini file in a notpad.
   
2. Press CNTRL + F
   
3. Search for ;Keybinds (Ensure the Wrap around box is checked)
   
4. Change your desired keybinding

For example, if you want change the keybind of the button that causes the HUD to show from holding the left trigger to the A button, you need to change this section:
