Introduction
This guide is a full walkthrough for the character Marina. Follow this guide to get all 3 endings in one play through.

This is not a comprehensive guide where you can look things up and make your own strategies. This is a guide where if you don't follow the instructions the guide will fail you. So if you don't want to do the things that I did then I don't recommend following this guide.

This guide was made for Fear & Hunger v1.7. So if something in the guide doesn't work anymore it's not my fault.
Strategy
This game has two major power spikes.
1. 16 Agility. When you reach 16 agility you permanently have double actions every turn after the first which in turn doubles your damage output.

2. The Enlightened Soul (aka O'ssa's soul aka Yellow Mage's soul)
O'ssa has a skill called La Danse Macabre which, over the course of a few turns, more than doubles your magic damage. O'ssa also has a skill called Spice Forge which lets you cast the same spell twice every turn at no extra cost. So with La Danse Macabre and Spice Forge, you have quadrupled your magic damage output.

So if you put these two power spikes together, your character will be dealing more than 8 times damage than normal. That is absolutely phenomenal and that is how we are going to beat this game. So the strategy here is grab both power spikes a.s.a.p. and then do other stuff.

So why Marina instead of O'ssa? Because you need access to three spell trees (Gro-goroth, Sylvian, and Fear & Hunger) and Marina can get access to all three spell trees without relying on luck. In addition she has Engrave which is essential for reaching 16 agility. Also she has access to Advanced Occultism at the start which lets her cast Black Smog on her first turn unlike others who have to wait until their second turn. The literal only thing she is missing is O'ssa's skills which can be trivially obtained on the first day. O'ssa on the other hand needs to rely heavily on luck to get the 3 skin bibles to gain access to the three spell trees. In addition, unlike Marina, he cannot use guns and guns are essential. So to answer the question we choose Marina because she is flat out superior to O'ssa in every way the entire game including both early game and late game.

There's only 3 sources of Agility: Small Thing's Amulet, Engrave, and Hexen Table.
You start with 10 Agility
Small Thing's Amulet is an accessory purchasable at Dr. Kefer & Co and gives +5 Agility.
Engrave is one of Marina's skills and it gives +5 Agility.
Hexen Table has two skills that give +1 agility.

You will need all three because one of the endgame bosses, the Kaiser, actually has high agility too so if you want double actions against him you need all of the above to outspeed him.

Defensively, Spice Forge lets you cast a spell at the start of combat as a free action. So your primary defense strategy is to create a Blood Golem with Spice Forge at the start of combat and cast Pheromones on it as your first action so 100% of enemy attacks will go to your Blood Golem, not you. In addition to being a 200hp punching bag, this strategy will also protect you from game ending status ailments like blind or amputation.

WARNING. This ability of Spice Forge is BUG RIDDEN. Against some enemies it will give them a free turn before you. And some of those enemies' free action is an instant-kill attack. Do NOT use this ability of Spice Forge against August.
Maps
X means it's blocked from one side and must be opened from the other side first.
Yellow means it's blocked because of plot.

The maps are high res. If you have trouble reading it I recommend downloading it and zooming in.
Character Creation
For character creation options, choose Blood Magic, Sylvian, and something to read. And then redo it all again and again until the Skin Bible you get is Gro-Goroth. Then save this character start and never rewrite over it.

The reason for this is because you need access to three skill trees: Gro-goroth, Sylvian, and Fear & Hunger. I don't think Marina can start with the Sylvian bible. I think she can only start with Gro-goroth, Vinushka, Rher, and Fear & Hunger Skin Bibles so we choose Sylvian as her affinity and the Gro-goroth Skin Bible for something to read. Sylvian and Gro-goroth skills are significantly more important than Fear & Hunger skills so we prioritize Sylvian and Gro-goroth over Fear & Hunger.

Note about circles: There are two types of circles GVSR circles (Gro-goroth, Vinushka, Sylvian, Rher) and AF circles (All-mer, Fear & Hunger). Do not draw Gro-goroth, Vinushka, Sylvian, or Rher sigils on AF circles and do not draw All-mer and Fear & Hunger sigils on GVSR circles. Doing so accomplishes nothing and wastes the circle.
Day 1 - Morning
It doesn't have to be said that you need to loot everything the eye can see. So loot everything you see even without me telling you to.

WARNING: Do NOT use Penny buns for anything. They are essential later on for Mushroom Stew+. So do NOT create regular Mushroom Stews or eat the Penny buns directly.

WARNING: Do NOT use Red Herbs for anything. You need 3 for boss killing so do NOT use your last 3 Red Herbs for anything.

1. Herbs
As soon as you get control of your character scavenge the immediate area for green and blue herbs. Green herbs cure the "infection" status ailment which will kill you if left untreated and blue herbs heal your hp. You can go to Outskirts 1 for more herbs but do NOT go to Outskirts 2. There is a very strong enemy there called Woodsman and he will kill you.

2. Sewer Keys
Once you gathered all the herbs make your way east Forest 1, Riverside, Lake, and then Old Town 1, Old Town 2, Derelict House, and finally Old Town 3. Kill all the villagers but dodge all the ghouls. Kill the villagers by attacking their Torso.

Enemies in this game have cone vision. Meaning if you are literally right next to them they still won't be able to see you so dodging all the ghouls should be easy. But if you don't want to dodge the ghouls just turn them passive by talking to them. Use the Talk skill in combat and select "Ignore It->Ignore It->Let's see it! I call your bluff!->GIve me something and I might spare you." and the Ghouls will turn passive.

In Derelict House don't step on the glass shards on the ground.

In Old Town 3, to kill the sickle villager, attack his sickle hand first, then attack his torso. It will take you 2-3 attacks to kill him.

Go to the Mayor's House 2nd floor and go LEFT. Not right. There's a very powerful enemy on the right side. On the Left side is Henryk. Talk to him until you get the option to snap him out of it. Once you do that go right. You will see a priest kneeling on the ground. DODGE HIM. Go past him and in the room above him there is a way down. Go down there, grab the Manor Keys, come back up, and continue to dodge the Priest by going into the adjoining room and then exiting to the hallway. Don't try to walk past him. Then go downstairs, then go down to the basement, and one of the rooms is the food storage. Go back to Henryk and he will give you the Sewer Keys.

3. Get 3 Ghouls
It's time to raise your Ghoul Army. Raise the sickle villager you just killed and the soldier corpse next to him. Go back to the Derelict house, step on some glass shards, and kill both villagers. The Rifle villager is dangerous but you're just gonna have to suck it up and take the hits. Attack his torso. His arms have way too much hp so ignore them and go for the torso. He should die in 2-3 turns. Once they're both down raise the 2nd sickle villager as your 3rd Ghoul.

4. Get the Bonesaw
Go into the old house and go down to the basement. At the bottom right corner is a bonesaw.

5. Get 15 Heads.
Go to Old Town 5 while killing everything that crosses your path. In Old Town 5, kill everyone there EXCEPT the Pigman. He's a guy wearing a pig mask holding a gas weapon. Stay the hell away from him for now but everyone else you can kill. Do NOT bonesaw the corpse of the sickle villager. Cut the heads off every other corpse. There is a dual knife villager in a house in this area, visit her and take her head. Afterwards backtrack all the way back to the train, killing and beheading all the ghouls and villagers EXCEPT the villager closest to the elevator. I use that villager as my primary healer so keep that villager alive but kill everyone else.

2 Rifleman
2 Ghouls
2 Knife Villager
2 Pipe Villager
7 Moonscorched Villagers
= 15 total heads.

Glass Shards is your friend. Glass shards to the head is how you safely kill Riflemen and Ghouls without taking any damage as blinding them this way makes them miss virtually all of their attacks.

Once you reach the train, go to Outskirts 1, draw a Gro-goroth sigil in the GVSR circle and sacrifice your weakest most damaged Ghoul. Then go back to Old Town 5. You can cut across Outskirts 2 but don't explore that area. Get to Old Town 5 a.s.a.p. while the Woodsman is busy beheading a villager.

Raise the sickle villager you killed in the middle of the town.

Go to the New God Altar in the Old House and offer all 15 heads to get 15 Soul Stone Shards. Go to the crafting menu (it's located in your normal menu, underneath "Equip") and craft 5 Soul Stones immediately. Make this a habit because I guarantee you you're gonna forget to craft them and waste a sleep.

Once you have 5 Soul Stones, go upstairs to the bed and sleep. End of Day 1 - Morning.
Day 1 - Noon
In your dreams, save in a different save slot. Then go to hexen table and select these skills:
Engrave
The Warding Sigil
Advanced Occultism

Hurting
Black Smog

Then leave. I like to save before using Hexen in case I make a mistake.

Let me tell you about Black Smog. Black Smog is your go to spell for everything except endgame bosses. You're gonna kill virtually everyone with this spell. It's that amazing. Unfortuntaely it's nowhere near it's potential right now and you only got it because it has a great chance of landing a headshot which is instant-death to enemies. Now the problem is the enemy might get lucky and dodge the Black Smog so a little bit of luck is required for this part.

1. Kill the Priest.
Go back to the Mayor's manor and kill the priest by casting Black Smog. You need to "rev up" once to cast it. Even if you miss the first one the second one should hit. If it doesn't then lady luck hates you so reload and try again. Once he's dead collect his soul stone and behead him.

2. Obtain the Betel Stone.
Make your way to the Riverside and then enter the Sewers. From there make your way to Prehevil Central. Kill any Neighbours you come by. If they dodge your Black Smog your ghouls will kill him with their head shots. If everything misses then lady luck hates you. You don't have to reload as long as you don't die. Unlike the Priest these guys don't amputate or insta-kill.

Once you're at Prehevil Central go East. The path is a bit convoluted so be careful. Dodge the Bobby. Don't fight it. If you do fight it use Black Smog solely to kill all of his arms and work the Torso with your weapon. If its head stops spinning hit it to kill it immediately.

Bobbies, after death, will resurrect themselves. However if you "beat up" their bodies they will stay dead so do so. It might be tempting to keep a few alive to heal off of via Betel Stone but moonscorched villagers in the slums are much easier/quicker to heal off of so permanently kill every Bobby you take down every time.

Once you make it to the church, on the right side there is a hole you can enter which will lead to some stairs. Climb them. Once you're at the top go right to the next area. From there you should see a ladder. Go up the ladder and to the ceilings. Dodge the Pillarmans. At the bottom right corner is a hanging corpse. Drop the corpse down and make your way back down. If a Pillarman saw you and is chasing you, just drop down from the ceiling by falling.

Search the corpse you dropped to get the Betel stone. Equip it.

3. The Enlightened Soul
In the same room is a confessional. Go in there and confess. After you finish O'ssa would come out and reveal how much of a sadistic bastard he is so kill him to save mankind from him. Same deal as the priest. A single Black Smog should kill him. If not then lady luck hates you and hopefully he butchers your ghouls instead of you while you try to kill him again next turn. If he cuts a limb off then restart.

4. Bolt Cutters
At the entrance of this area there are a bunch of statues. On the wall with the exit there's a loose tile with the Bolt Cutters. The tile is perfectly aligned with the bottom row of statues. Get it.

WARNING: DO NOT use the Bolt Cutters on the chandelier. Doing so will block content. Just take the bolt cutters and leave.

5. Get 12 Heads
Go back to the sewers and make your way to the Sewage Treatment Plant. In the middle is a control machine with 4 switches.
a. Turn the inner 2 switches off
b. Go to the left and lower the ladder.
c. Stay on the raised platform and go right and push the blue box as far right as you can.
d. Go back to the control machine and turn the outer 2 switches off.
e. Go back to the blue box and push it further, where the water used to be.
f. Go back to the control machine and turn that switch on. It should push the box off the platform. Turn that same switch back off.

And that's it. Puzzle solved. Go left and ignore the path we just opened on the right side. Go left. Go all the way to the Western end and you will find 7 ghouls there. Kill them all. Not necessarily with Black Smog.

Note: There is a Levi Doppelganger somewhere in Western Tunnels. Somewhere in the north east. While you can kill him with a single Black Smog I'd hold off until the next day when you're stronger because that single Black Smog can miss. So stay away from him. Stay south until you reach the exit to Western End.

Your own ghouls are no longer worth the food it takes to keep them alive so let them die. Let them get infected. Don't heal them. Still feed them though so they can one shot the ghoul limbs. Keep one alive to sacrifice later.

Don't be shy about using Vodka, Beer, and Wine to replenish your mind. After this day Mind is a non-issue so go ahead and use all of your supply.

By the time you're done you should have 12 heads from ghouls, neighbours, and rat hags.

Go back to the New God Altar back at the Old House via the Sewers. Offer the 12 heads and craft 4 Soul Stones.

Then sleep. End of Day 1 - Noon
Day 1 - Night
In your dreams, save in a different slot and select these skills
La Danse Macabre
Meditation
Spice Forge

Blood Golem

Pheromones
Loving Whispers

Activate Spice Forge and put the Green Orb next to the Blood Golem, Red Orb next to Black Fog, and Blue Orb next to Loving Whispers.

1. Kill Karin
Go to Old Town 1 and kill Karin. She should die to a single Double black smog. Cut off her head.

2. Moonless
Go to the Sewer Treatment Plant. It's the sewer puzzle area. This time go right, past the newly accessible door we ignored earlier, and descend to the Foundations of Decay. Stick to the left until you come across a bag with 5 Blue Vials. Then stick to the right, ignoring the rat man. The rat man leads to an ambush with worthless gear so we're just gonna ignore that. Keeping going south and sticking to the right and you'll come across Moonless.

Pheromone up your Golem, wait until the Moonless fully shows himself, then spam Double Black Smog until all of his limbs are dead then attack his head until he's dead. Black Smog will blind him and make him miss most of the time so it should be a cakewalk.

Once finished, go to the next area and take the LEFT Elevator.
Activate the Telelectroscope.
Kill the Tanaka Doppelganger.
Loot the Ammo boxes
Then go back up and take the RIGHT Elevator.

Go left and check both crevices. The one that's further in the left has an Elevator. Use it to go to Old Town 1 and the Church of All-mer to unlock this shortcut. Don't explore the Church yet. There's some tough enemies here and we need to come back here later anyways so don't explore the Church yet.

3. Kill Levi Doppelganger
Go back to the sewers and make your way back to the Western Tunnels. Go find the Levi Doppelganger and kill him with a single Double Black Smog. Cut off his head.

4. PRHVL BOP
Exit the Sewers into the Shopping District. To the left is what appears to be the entrance to the underground. Go there. Avoid the Inquisitors. While you can kill them, if you get unlucky they will blind you permanently so it's best to avoid them until you have the Elite Trooper Helmet which prevents blindness.

Inside PRHVL BOP there's a trap door hidden underneath the butterflies. Enter it and loot the place dry including the guns.

* The Trenchgun kills Death Masks in two shots in the overworld and stuns them with each shot as well. That's their sole purpose. To kill Death Masks.
* The Rifle shoots the arms off an enemy. Their sole purpose is to shoot the arms off of bosses.
* The Pistol is largely useless as it takes many shots to kill any monster except the smallest ones, which die in one shot. So there's no reason to save any 9mm bullets. We'll be using them all right now to kill all the small monsters in the school.

You'll notice that the Ghouls left your party. Talk to only one Ghoul. Ghouls are now fully dead weight at this point so take only one to sacrifice in the school and leave the rest here.

5. Leechmonger Ring + Chainmail Dress
Once you're done looting exit the PRHVL BOP and go north west into the department store.

BUG WARNING: If you have the Green Orb on spice forge on any skill, then the Sew Jobs will get a free attack on you. So remove the Green Orb in Spice Forge, kill all 3 Sew Jobs with Double Black Smog, then put the Green Orb back next to Blood Golem.

There are no enemies in the department store itself so no worries. Go to the 2nd floor and inside a shop is a Chainmail Dress. Grab it. Outside the store, look at the yellow guard rails. They go up. Follow them up to the 3rd floor and then 4th floor of the department store. On the 4th floor is a corpse that has the Leechmonger Ring. Grab it.

6. School
Exit the Department Store on the west side. There's a shop called Dr.Kefer & Co. He sells Purifying Talismans. You need 2. If you don't have 2 then buy two. If you have two then spend your shillings on anything you want. I like Tobacco because it's really cheap and restores 30 mind. There's also a shop that opens up in Day 2 in Old Town 5 that sells Blue Vials. Some people like Hardened Heart because it prevents a lethal blow from killing you, leaving you with 1 hp, but I never get in that situation so I prefer a different accessory.

Planning ahead, the fight with the Kaiser requires you to have 21 agility and amputation protection. Fluted Armor is guaranteed amputation protection but drops your agility by 5. So the guaranteed strategy against the Kaiser is to wear a Fluted Armor and 2 Small Thing's Amulet (one bought from Dr. Kefer and one from the sewer Mid Tunnel Ratkin). If you have a Pep pill, Brown Vial, or Salmonsnake Rune then you don't need a second Small Thing's Amulet. If you don't then I suggest you keep 50 Shillings on you at all times until the final part so you can buy a 2nd Small Thing's Amulet if Lady Luck screws you over with loot.

Don't touch the lamp in the back of the building. It spawns a Genie that hunts you everywhere you go, spams instant-kill-coin-toss attacks, and drops nothing on death.

Keep going north west and you'll come across a school. Enter it. Equip your Lugr Pistol and kill every Fallen Cherub in the school, school basement, school 1F, and school 2F with 1 bullet each. There are 15 Fallen Cherubs. If you don't have enough bullets then don't sweat it, leave them alive. Or alternatively, after shooting 2, engage the third and kill him. Cherubs don't amputate or give any permanent status effects so they're relatively safe to kill the old fashioned way. There's a Priest in the basement. Kill him and take the soul stone.

Sacrifice your Ghoul in the Gro-goroth circle in front of the Headmaster's office.

The headmaster is skippable in this difficulty. Killing him gives you a headmaster's key which gives you access to 1 more bookshelf and 1 soul stone elsewhere in the school. If you kill him with guns (18 pistol bullets, 10 rifle bullets, or 10 trenchgun bullets) you can loot his office for 1 additional bookshelf and 1 chest. Rifle bullets are not essential or mandatory once you get your magic stuff going (which you already have) so go ahead and spend 10 rifle bullets on the headmaster and grab the additional loot.

You probably will come across a Death Mask during your way back (in front of the school). Shoot him twice with a Trenchgun and he'll die. If you mess up and fight him use Double Black Smog on your first turn. It will blind him and make him miss most of the time. Then run and kill him with the Trenchgun in the overworld.

Return to the Old House, offer all your heads to the New God Altar, craft as many Soul Stones as you can from shards, and sleep in the same bed you've been sleeping in.

End of Day 1 - Night.

*Note: If you have a Fear & Hunger Skin Bible, engrave your face with the Fear & Hunger sigil and draw the Fear & Hunger sigil on two AF Ritual Circles before sleeping. My choice is the Train and the Two-Story House in Old Town 5 because they've already been cleared.
Day 2 - Morning
In your dreams, save to a different save slot and then select these skills.
Black Orb

Greater Occultism

*If you have the Fear & Hunger Skin Bible then get Rot, Agility +1, and Mastery over vermin.

Use Spice Forge and put the Blue Orb next to Black Orb. Switch back to Loving Whispers for out of combat healing or specific encounters I spell out. Otherwise keep it on Black Orb.

Today we're gonna kill the majority of the contestants. Why? Because they all need to be dead for Endings B & C. Also because they're time sensitive, miss-able because they disappear forever, they're buggy as hell, and some of them have amazing skills. So follow my instructions carefully to avoid bugs and not miss anyone.

1. Olivia, Henryk
Go back to the train and kill both of them.

2. Caligura
Go to the sewers and make your way to Back Alleys 1. From here go to Back Alleys 2. You might face the mob. You might not. If you do you might have to restart depending on what gear you have.

If you have the Salmonsnake Rune then you're good. You can kill them just fine with no amputations. Spam Black Smog until they're dead. You can use Black Orb too.

If you have gotten the Fear & Hunger Skin Bible the previous night and as a result have 16 agility, then you're good too. I pheromone up my Golem on my first turn. Then I use Rot to downgrade the Meatgrinder to a Meat Mallet. Then I Black smog them to blind them. Then I just attack with my Black Steel until they're all dead.

If you don't have either then it's mainly luck. You have to Pheromone your Golem, Double Black Smog to blind them, and just hope for the best while you hack away at their massive hp pool.

Arm Pieces might be enough too, I'm not entirely sure if the meatgrinder amputates your legs or not.

Once you're in Back Alleys 2, go north to Prehevil - West. It is very IMPORTANT that you enter Prehevil - West from Back Alleys 2. Levi is buggy as hell so do as I say.

Once you're in Prehevil - West you should see Caligura trying to kill Levi. Kill Caligura and say "Are you okay?" to Levi.

3. August
Enter Prehivil North West from Prehivil West. As soon as you climb the stairs go left as far as possible then go back to the stairs. You will see August killing a Cocoon. Open up Skill Forge, remove the Green Orb entirely and then fight August.

BUG WARNING: If you fight August with a Green Orb on any of your spells, he will get the first move and it will be an instant-death coin flip attack so don't do that. Fight him without the Green Orb and kill him with a single Double Black Smog.

4. Levi
Go to the school and go right. Levi is in one of the classrooms on the right. Kill him. He won't leave a body because he's bugged. If you encountered Caligura and Levi from the other side, Levi won't be here. He won't be anywhere. He's disappeared. I remember scouring the map for him, giving up and sleeping, only to find that I have his soul but he's not considered dead. Levi is extremely buggy.

5. Fellatio Effigy
Since we're at the school already we should get the Fellatio Effigy now to avoid coming back here. If you have a Purifying Talisman make your way to the Schoolyard. If you don't buy one from Dr. Kefer & Co. Once there, there's a door with a blood diagram on it to the left. Use a Purifying Talisman to open it and enter. There's a ritual circle with Rher's sigil on it. Use it to teleport to Rher's dimension.

You're going to have to make a full circle here so just keep going forward, all the way around, past the Golden Gate (can only be opened by the Golden Gate skill. It's worthless so don't bother) and you'll reach an Angel Statue holding the Fellatio Effigy. Take it and leave.

Ronteals can be killed by simply doing a Rev3 double attack with Black Steel on their Torso. Alternatively you could use Double Black Smog twice which blinds them and makes them miss most of their attacks. If you want to be absolutely safe you could Pheromone your Golem on your first turn but Pheromones can miss too. My choice is Rev3 double attack on the torso with Black Steel.

6. Hunger Effigy & Daan
Go to the Back Alleys 1. From the Sewer Entrance go directly south and you'll come across an apartment. Visit the two rooms on the floor. One has Keys. The other a Television. Don't go to the basement or upstairs yet.

Watch the television and write down the 4 apartment numbers.

Go to floor 3 and go to room 10. Go all the way left into room 9 and you'll see a horse statue. Move the horse statue onto the middle of room 10, over the cracked floorboards. Jump down the resulting hole.

Daan is here. KILL DAAN.

There's a diary of a madman here. Pick it up and read it. He lists 4 of his neighbors he killed in order. Their room numbers is the password to the washing machine. Check out the 4 apartments mentioned on the TV to see what order he killed his neighbors. Once you have that go down to the basement to the bloody washing machine and input their apartment numbers in order. Crawl through the washing machine and you'll be in Rher's dimension.

Stick your hands in every hole. They won't get chopped off. Instead they hold awesome loot so loot the place silly as you should.

Make your way to floor 3 and drop down into the room with the Angel Statue and take the Hunger Effigy. Then leave.

7. Pav, Marco, Tanaka
Go back to the Riverside via the Sewers (I know I know, it's tedious as hell to walk all the way back and forth from the sewers.) Then make your way to Old Town 5. Cut the double bolt gate with Bolt Cutters you found from the Church and proceed. You will see Pav trying to kill Marco and Tanaka. Kill all 3. You have to kill all 3 yourself right now. Don't let them leave and don't let Pav shoot. Attack him on sight and then behead all 3.

8. Pocketcat
Finally, go up the staircase, permanently killing the Bobbies you encounter along the way. And go up the left staircase. You will see Pocketcat beating a girl inside a bag. Trade 7 contestant heads for the following books:
Fear & Hunger Skin Bible
Rher Skin Bible
Alchemillia Vol.3

If you have some these already get Book of Enlightenments instead. If you have any contestant heads left over get more Book of Enlightenments.

Alright that concludes the Contestant slaughter for now. Only 3 remain. You, Abella, and Samarie.

9. 10 Soul Stones
Gather soul stones until you have 10 total and go to sleep unless you got the Fear & Hunger skin bible the previous night. In which case you only need 7. There's plenty of enemies everywhere so you shouldn't have any trouble getting all the heads you need.

If you want to kill Inquisitors I suggest you first go to Eastern Outskirts to kill the Elite Trooper there first for his helmet. Shooting his arms off with a rifle makes the fight trivially easy.
Day 2 - Noon Part 1
In your dreams save to another slot then select these skills
Rot
Agility +1
Mastery over Vermin

Advance Botanism
Undergrowth Awareness
Toxicology

Slow Metabolism
Melee Proficiency
Masterchef

Greater Meditation

This is the final day. You're gonna get all 3 endings today. If you want to save you'll need to use an AF Circle with the Fear & Hunger sigil drawn on them.

1. Church of All-mer
UNEQUIP YOUR WEAPON. Do not equip a weapon. There are Crimson Fathers here that will mind control you or your golem before your first turn. If your Golem is mind controlled spam Double Black Smog until all of his limbs are gone. Then kill him with a Black Orb. If you're mind controlled, you should survive all of his attacks until you snap out of it if you're full hp when you start the fight so do that. After you're free heal yourself, Pheromone up your Golem, and kill him.

IMPORTANT: Don't scribe any sigils here on the ritual circles unless I tell you to.

In the North Western most area there's an angel statue holding something. Take it, it's the Martyr Effigy. South of him is a dismembered corpse. Loot him for the Church Keys. Go to the north east corner of the map and enter the open cell. Pick up the Rusty Key.

There's a GVSR circle in the middle of the map south of the Pillarman with the Rher sigil already drawn on it. Go through it and kill Samarie. Pheromone up your Golem and spam Double Black Smog.

There's another GVSR circle on the map in the south side. Draw a Rher sigil on it, go through it, go to the end, unlock the gate with the Church Keys, free the Prisoner with the Rusty Key, and pick up the Heart-shaped lock.

Note: This summons a secret boss from the New God Altar. Do NOT accidentally sacrifice it while trying to sacrifice heads. You will die.

2. Sergal
Go up the stairs to 1F. Place the effigies on the altars in front of the stained glass. Go through the tunnel that opens up. You might have to fight some enemies but you can also just dodge all of them. I personally go for the Priest and Pillarman. Both are easy to dodge or kill with Double Black Smog spam.

Once you get past the Church, just go straight through the Mausoleum Alley to the giant Alter of the One. Move to the middle and Sergal will challenge you to a fight.

Open with Double Black Smog to blind him making him miss most of his attacks and then Pheromone up your Golem. Then work one arm until it's amputated to win the fight.

There's a Soul Devour Necklace on a corpse at the top of the scaffolding. Grab it.

3. Fluted Armor
Go to Temple Site 1 and go south. In Prehevil Central there's a blue box you can push. Push it out of the way so you can walk to Temple Site 1 without going through the church.

Go back and go to Temple Site 2. On the bottom right corner is a purple door that leads to Donnovan's House. It has a hexen table on it which means you can now get any skill you want without sleeping.

There's a museum in the middle of Temple Site 2. Grab these 3 items and get out.
Fluted Armpieces
Fluted Breast Plate
Chac Chac
The Chac Chac is located in the glass box next to the Gaelian Greatsword and Yggaegetsu Amulet. It's hooked up to the alarm system so you can only get one of the three. Get the Chac Chac unless you already have a Chac Chac. If you do then get the Yggaegetsu Amulet instead.

Go back to the Mayor's House. In the basement, in the right most corner is a door. Destroy the door with a Double Black Orb. Not smog, Orb. You need the Chac Chac and Death Mask equipped as well. Beyond the door is the Fluted Fauld and together with the other two Fluted pieces you can craft the Fluted Armor. This prevents limb loss at the cost of 5 agility so if you want to use this you got to get the Small Thing's Amulet to keep your double turns.

4. Small Thing's Amulet
In the sewer Mid Tunnels is a Ratkin. You can corner him by pushing a blue crate to block the circular path he goes in. Once in the fight, talk to him (requires Mastery over vermin) and select
Sure thing tough guy
Sorry about that
Yes I mean no harm
Then talk to him again in the overworld to get a free Small Thing's Amulet.

5. Condensed Hemlock
This is the best boss killer item in the game. Go back to the Train and above the house with the rotten meat are some poison hemlocks. Gather as many as you can. There should be 7. You only need 6. Craft 3 Condensed Hemlocks.

6. The Heartless One
Secret boss time! She drops the best weapon in the game.

Go to the Church of All-mer 2F. There's an AF ritual circle here.
Craft as many Mushroom Stew+ and Light Blue Vials as you can.
REMOVE the Green Orb from Spice Forge.
Equip yourself with the Death Mask, Fluted Armor, Small Thing's Amulet, Chac Chac, and Soul Devour Necklace.
Then draw a Fear & Hunger sigil and save.

Now go to the New God Alter in this church. CONSUME a Mushroom Stew+ and then sacrifice the Heart-shaped lock to summon the Heartless one.

Turn 1: Use Condensed Hemlock on her Torso
Turn 2: Summon a Blood Golem and use Pheromones on him
Turn 3: Heal up and Guard
She's now just a headless armless Torso with wings. The wings are bugged and that's why they don't die with the rest of the body.
Turn 4+: Greater Black Orb spam the Torso and Wings until they're both dead.

And that's it! You now have maxed out on equipment. You'll notice you have a status ailment from the fight that makes you miss most of your melee attacks. Use a Purifying Talisman to get rid of it.
Day 2 - Noon Part 2
7. Telelectroscope #2
Make your way to Prehevil - West. Then once you reach the building with the word Gazette on it, make your way south. You'll reach the exit to Ruined Streets. From there keep going south until you reach Deeper Woods.

IMPORTANT. There are pitfall traps on the leaves. Don't walk on the leaves if you can help it. You can see the traps if you look closely enough. Don't be careless. Don't die to this.

Deeper woods is where it gets frustrating. The exit to the west is hidden. Keep going south in Deeper Woods until you find an Owl Cultist that pops out of the ground to shoot poisoned darts at you. Kill him. Directly north of him is the entrance to the way west. Hug the tree wall until you find it and once you're through, head west to Deepest Woods.

BUG WARNING. Remove the Green Orb from Spice Forge. It will give the Centaur a free first action that murder you.

You can avoid the centaur if you want. If you want to fight it there's no secret. Just Double Black Smog to blind him and work the Torso with Red Virtue or Greater Black Orb until he's dead. I wouldn't bother with the Golem. The Centaur's main attack, Stampede, hits both of you so the Golem isn't gonna be tanking anything.

Once the centaur is dead open up Spice Forge again and apply the Green Orb to Blood Golem again.

Once you're down there, just find the 2 gas canisters and put them in the generator. There's an enemy called Stitches here. Just Pheromone up your Golem and spam Double Black Smog until she's dead. As for Living Flesh I just work the body with Red Virtue

Once you powered the generator, go down the elevator and turn on the final Telelectroscope.

8. Abella & Telelectroscope #3.
Go back to Old Town 5 and go west to the Maiden Forest. Go find the tunnel entrance and enter it. Find the two Gasoline Canisters and pour them into the generator.

When you approach the elevator that leads down Abella in her moonscorched form will pop out. Abella is bugged. If you kill her here she still appears after you descended and if you kill her there too you will get 2 "Caressing Souls". As in, the game will treat you like you killed an extra contestant. So to avoid finding out what kind of bugs that will result from that, do NOT kill Abella on this floor. When she pops out simply run and go south at the first chance you get. Lure her through the south corridor. If she drops the chase try again. Once you're both at the southern most part of the tunnel she will stop. Then go west, making a full circle back to the elevator and descend.

Once you're down Abella will attack you. Kill her this time by doing a Rev3 Double Attack on her torso with Red Virtue. Should one shot her. Then activate the Telelectroscope, go south, enter the Rher circle, and make your way up to leave the Bunker.

Congratulations, all 13 contestants are finally dead.

9. Saving
Once you're finished, go to the Donovan House and save there using the AF Circle.
Endings A, B, & C

1. Endings B & C
Go to Temple Site 1 and touch the Moon Tower. It'll open up. Equip the Betel Stone and Chac Chac and go up.

Choosing to join them will result in Ending C.
Choosing to leave will result in Ending B.

Per'kele is a joke. Condensed Hemlock on the torso and he dies at the end of next turn. So turn 1 Condensed Hemlock his torso, turn 2 pheromone your golem.

2. Ending A
Go to the Museum. From the entrance go south and you'll come across a door underneath a clock. Go to the clock and set the long hand on 7, set the small hand between 1 and 2, and set the double hand to encompass the symbol with the two triangles on top of each other. It kinda looks like a spear. It's at the top. The door will open.

Go down the door and through the giant metal gate. Go to the Old Site for a gas canister (if you have gas canisters to spare this can be skipped). Then go towards "Logic". Just make your way all the way to the end until you see a psycho latex bunny. Equip the Betel Stone and Chac Chac. I like to use a book of enlightenment at this point because the platoon is a coin-toss spam fest. Also consume a Mushroom Stew+.

Against the Platoon, use a Condensed Hemlock on him. Then pheromone up your Golem and spend your Lucky Coins on the coin toss while spamming Double Black Smog until the bunny is dead. Then switch to Greater Black Orb spam.

Against the Kaiser, equip the Fluted Armor along with Leechmonger Ring and two Small Thing's Amulets. Or alternatively, one Small Thing's Amulet and consume a Pep pill. Or alternatively, Darkness, Small Thing's Amulet, and Salmonsnake Rune. You get the idea. Amputation prorection + 21 Agility. Also consume a Mushroom Stew+. Then just work his torso with the Red Virtue until he's dead.

Against the final boss equip Leechmonger Ring, Betel Stone, and Chac Chac and set your Blue Orb on Loving Whispers.

In the first phase Pheromone up your golem and use Greater Loving Whispers and Light Blue Vials to keep both of you alive and healthy. Whenever the red lights turn on use a Double Black Smog before returning to regular attacks.

In the second phase destroy the Hand of Destruction asap before your Golem goes down. Spam regular Black Orb on it until it dies. Once that hand is down you've won and now begins the grind game. Attack the hand to your left until it dies then hack away at the boss until it dies. Let your Golem die. Her attacks do 100% lifesteal so if you want to kill her you gotta let your Golem die because she does insane damage to your golem. Against you she does exactly 45 damage every time. 25 if you guard. So the strategy here is to do a Rev3 Double Attack and a Greater Meditation Guard every single turn until she goes down. Your Leechmonger ring should almost let you break even on the 25 damage every turn.

Once you get to the screen with the green nebula stuff, move forward to get the ending.

And that's it! Game is beat! All 3 endings.
Maso Mode Part 1
Maso Mode is the game's hard difficulty and let me tell you, it's EXTREMELY hard. You need two things:
1. Complete memorization of all the key points on every map.
2. Master the following Dodge technique
xo
ox
x is you and your enemy
o is empty space
Once you're in position like this the enemy is going to move to an o. When he does you need to immediately move to a different o. Once you do that he's going to move to where you used to be standing and that's how you dodge 100% of enemies that are slower than you. Bobbies, Neighbors, Ronteals, etc. you name it.

If you don't have this technique mastered do not attempt Maso Mode.

The Maso mode gameplan is simple. Get to the Hexen in the orphanage and get the skills you need while fighting the absolute minimum number of enemies possible. Then use those skills to kill Mastermind (O'saa) and Sergal to get access to the Hexen in the Donovan House. And then steamroll from there.

Also skip all dialogue. I mean it. Keep a finger above the W key at all times and skip everything. Don't even read what items you found during looting. Timing is very tight so don't waste it reading anything. If you want to read stuff go back to Fear & Hunger mode.

Some things you need to note about Maso Mode is
1. Your mind drains ridiculously quickly. So you need to rush rush rush to not develop Panophobia which is a death sentence. In my experience 1 Vodka is enough to get to Renka Cafe if you're rushing as fast as I am so it's not that hard to prevent this.
2. There are Bellends everywhere preventing you from backtracking.
3. Every Death Mask coffin is active which also prevents you from backtracking and re-visiting areas.

Alright so lets get started.

NOTE: Keep 3 Red Herbs. You need them for Condensed Hemlocks. So be sure you don't use up your last 3 Red Herbs on anything.

1. Character Creation
This time we are going to start with a Marina with:
Engrave
Maxed Gro-goroth affinity
Fear and Hunger Skin Bible.

The reason is you can beat Sergal and Mastermind without Sylvian (though she makes it SIGNIFICANTLY easier) but not without Gro-goroth, and the Fear and Hunger Skin Bible is the only way you can SAVE in this difficulty. And trust me, you're gonna want to save. A lot. More times than you can. We choose Engrave over Necromancy because Ghouls are deadweight after the initial area and makes dodging enemies really, really hard. Since Dodging enemies is 100% of the gameplan we don't use necromancy until the Mastermind fight.

2. Two Keys
You can't get to the sewers at the start unlike Fear & Hunger mode so we need to get the two keys to open the gates in Old Town 5 to progress the game. So do that.

Reminder that Ghouls can be pacified by talking to them. Ignore it->Ignore it->Call their Bluff.

The Genie that spawns from the radio can be despawned simply by exiting the area. So exit the area and then re-enter whenever he spawns to permanently remove him from that map. You never need to fight him and you get nothing from killing him so there is no point in risking coin-toss-instant-death by fighting him. Despawn him always.

The Villagers in the Old House can be dodged by triggering the two in the north first and running all the way back. They stop in the middle of the two chairs. And then the last Pipe Villager can be dodged by running a full circle around the New God Altar.

The Pigmask Villager can be dodged by moving behind the Death Mask Coffin to avoid his sight. Do NOT enter the nearby shop because you'll trigger the Death Mask if you do. If you fail and the Pigmask Villager attacks you, talk to him and then repeatedly select the first option until you get a coin toss. Use a lucky coin. If that succeeds you kill him. If that fails you're restarting.

Be sure to loot every Fridge for White Vials. They are very important this time around.

For Tunnel 7, follow my instructions carefully. After you get both gas canisters, go straight to the generator without looting the two locker rooms. After the generator is started go ahead and loot the two locker rooms. The reason is because Abella will patrol to the locker rooms while you're looting and will chase you once you exit the locker rooms meaning you can't access the Generator because Abella is in your way. So you do that first. Once Abella chases you simply go south as possible (she will stop) and then make a full circle back to the elevator to get to the key on the soldier.

***Mind
If you noticed, your mind drops like a brick in this difficulty. Developing Panophobia is a death sentence so avoid it. Eat Lavendar and drink them alcohol. I reached Renka Cafe with only one Vodka bottle so it's do-able in virtually all playthroughs. You just gotta rush rush rush.

3. Old Town 5 Save
This next part is extremely difficult and will take you multiple tries so save now.

4. Mad Dash to Back Alleys 1 Apartment
This is very, very hard.
Use the two keys to open the gates and dash into the restaurant. If you have any glass vials fill them up with the wine barrels.

And now for the very hard part. You need to get to Pocketcat asap. I dash to the right side with the dead bodies and the crates. Then I dodge the Bobby with the technique I mentioned above. Then I run to Pocketcat and SKIP HIS DIALOGUE. The moonscorch timer ticks while you're talking to him and that's why this is so difficult. You can't backtrack to the restaurant because of the Bobbies and Bellends so you're only option is to dash to the Apartment in Back Alleys 1. So once Pocketcat finally shuts up run to Back Alleys 1 and just keep going North. North North North North North until you hit that Apartment before you get moonscorched.

If you do this enough times you can do it every time. No luck involved.

5. PRHVL BOP
From here going to PRHVL BOP should be easy so do that and get the guns.

6. Leechmonger Ring
This ring is extremely important. Pick it up from the Department Store.

7. Dr. Kefer & Co
Buying some Tobacco here is mandatory. You need the Tobacco to stay sane until you get the Betel Stone. But if you have enough Shillings (remember you get 10 from each cash register in the Restaurant and Renka Cafe) you could buy a Small Thing's Amulet to get your double turns now. You're gonna loot the school shortly which will yield some extra shillings so it's fine if you splurge on the Small Thing's Amulet. But yeah, get some Tobacco. Unless you didn't get a Purifying Talisman in which case you need to get that.

There's a Soul Stone in the back inside the lamp. Take it. The Genie already hunts you anyway so no reason not to take that Soul Stone.

8. Hunger Effigy
This part is really hard so brace yourself.
First loot the school's 1st floor. Depending on how many 9mm bullets you had this maybe easy or hard. Save 2 bullets for the Fecal Hounds in Back Alleys 1. They're a bigger pain in the ass than the Cherubs. Dodge the Weeping Scope by dropping down to the basement. I don't loot the basement at this time due to lack of bullets. Once you looted as much of the 1st floor school as you can go to the school's Rher dimension.

Follow my instructions carefully. Go south until you see a fork. STAY THERE. The Weeping Scope will move right (you should see him, if you don't move forward until you can barely see him). Afterwards he will move towards you at which point you run left. Make a full circle to progress forward.

You will now see a Ronteal directly in your path. Do the dodge maneuver I explained above. Stand diagonally to him before he fully pops out and dodge him.

Once you dodge him keep going until you pop 3 more Ronteals. You can dodge them because the area you're in have two loops like a 8. Use them to circle and dodge the Ronteals. You're now free and clear so get to the Hunger Effigy, wait for the Weeping Scope to gtfo and then exit.
Maso Mode Part 2

9. Sewer Winch
Equip the Trenchgun.
Head to the Waste Disposal Office. A Death Mask will pop out. Kill him with the Trenchgun.
There's some kind of bug here because when i shot him near his coffin the bullets just missed. So just run to the office and once the Death Mask runs past the lamp post kill him, loot him, and behead him. Then go grab the Sewer Winch.

10. Fellatio Effigy
With the Sewer Winch in hand make your way to the Apartment puzzle. It's your choice whether to backtrack through the Department store or through the sewers. Personally I backtracked through the Department store. The Bellend can be dodged by luring him to the tables and using the tables to ditch him.

Open the sewer entrances and enter them to reset the moonscorch timers.

Get to the Apartment puzzle and get the Fellatio effigy. All the Neighbors can be dodged with both the dodge technique I mentioned above and using the corridors and jail cells to run circles around them. The Marcoh Moonscorched can be dodged this way too.

11. Betel Stone
Once you have the Effigy make your way to the Staircase and then to the Bookstore. From there go to the sewer entrance. From the book store I usually go the north route to dodge the Bobby and Rifleman fire.

From the Sewer Entrance go to the church, don't try to loot anything, just mad dash to the church. I take the exit through the stairs to avoid the two bobbies on the lower area.

At the Church grab the Betel Stone.

12. Moonless
Backtrack back to the Sewer entrance and make your way to Moonless. With Leechmonger Ring and Betel Stone Moonless should be a cakewalk.
Blind him on the first turn with Glass Shards.
Kill Miasma asap. Miasma will kill you so kill Miasma asap.
Once Miasma is down take the Black Steel.
Once you have the Black Steel chop his Right and Left Paws off so he no longer has the ability to hurt you. Then take out his legs and then his head. It's a very long but easy fight.

Kill Tanaka Doppelganger and remember to loot the ammo boxes. And activate the Telectroscope.

13. Martyr Effigy
Back in the church get the Martyr Effigy. There's a Death Mask coffin nearby but you should know your way around the church to get to the Martyr Effigy without triggering it.

14. 30 Heads.
You should have 1 Soul Stone already from Dr. Kefer. And there is 1 Soul Stone in the Hexen room in the orphanage. That means you need 10 more Soul Stones so 30 heads.

Extra 9mm bullets go to the school for Fallen Cherub Heads for a maximum of 15.

8 Moonscorched in the slums though I HIGHLY recommend you keep the moonscorched next to the elevator alive for easy Betel Stone healing.

You're probably gonna have to use the Trench Gun to kill the Death Mask in Old Town 1.

You need 10 rifle bullets. You should have 3 from PRHVL BOP, 5 from the Levi Doppelganger (it's ok if you haven't kiled him yet), and 1 from the Two Story House from Old Town 3 for a grand total of 9 guaranteed bullets.

Anyways if you see that you have extra rifle bullets go kill the priests in the Mayor House and in the Orphanage Basement. 2 Rifle shots and a Glass Shard in the eyes renders Priests completely helpless. If you have a Small Thing's Amulet I don't bother with the Glass Shards. Each Priest is worth 4 heads. 1 guaranteed Soul Stone (3 heads) and the Priest's heads.

Last resort is the Pipe Villagers and 7 Ghouls in the end of the Western Tunnels.

Do NOT go to Old Town 5 for there is a Death Mask coffin.

Anyways, get those 30 heads anyway you can.

15. 2 Sylvian Circles
If you have found a Sylvian Skin Bible go ahead and draw 2 sigils on the GVSR circles in the Mayor's House and the Woodsman's House. Woodsman I usually kill with a bear trap but if you don't have a bear trap just skip. Loving Whispers is not mandatory right now and Pheromones is a tier 1 ability so just the Mayor's house is fine. The circle in Outskirts 1 in my opinion is not accessible. Any attempt I made to use it resulted in me getting moonscorched due to it being so far from any house.

15. Orphanage Hexen
Go to the orphanage and loot the entire 2nd floor. Then shoot the Headmaster 10 times with a rifle and loot him and his office. Then make your way to the Hexen Table and activate it from the SOUTH (very important) and get the following skills
Necromancy
Blood Golem
Black orb
Hurting
Black Smog
Rot
Agility +1
Warding Sigil
Advanced Occultism
Greater Occultism

Pheromones
Loving Whispers

WARNING: The Gull Bros appears and destroys the hexen table. They're actually pretty easy to dodge. The first one can be dodged by making a circle around the Hexen Table and the 2nd one can be dodged by just making a mad dash to the exit. On the 1st floor just go straight south to the exit because the Gull Bros follow you down. Once you're outside you're safe.

16. Ghoul Army
Go raise 2 Ghouls. NOT 3. 2. Very important. Unless you don't have a Sylvian Skin Bible. If so then get 3 Ghouls.

17. Bookstore Save
Go to the Bookstore's 2nd floor and use the AF Circle to create a save point and save. You can use the PRHVL BOP save instead if you like.

18. Mastermind (O'saa)
Go to the church and open the tunnel.
Down there I go Priest then Pillarman. Priest is a joke to kill at this point and the Pillarman can be dodged by making a mad dash to the exit. When the Genie spawns just backtrack and exit and re-enter.

Once you're out, dodge the Bellends and enter the Altar. From there exit back out and mad dash to the Mastermind so he doesn't chop an arm off.

First turn Pheromone up a Ghoul. He'll die. Next turn create a Blood Golem and Pheromone him. You're now safe. Then work the Torso of the Mastermind with Black Steel until he goes down. Takes about 4-5 strikes.

You can get unlucky and he can kill you with Mischief of Rats spam and you getting stunned. If you lose an arm just restart. That's what the Bookstore save is for.

If you did not manage to get a Sylvian Skin Bible then just work the body hoping he doesn't amputate an arm and kills your ghouls instead.

19. Sergal
Easy fight. First turn Black Smog and he'll miss almost 100% of the time. Second turn summon and pheromone a Blood Golem. Subsequent turns just work one arm with Black Steel until it drops.

Grab the Soul Devour Necklace at the top of the scaffolding.

20. Donovan House
Just go straight to it. Don't even go to the moon tower. As soon as you get outside the Altar go straight left straight to the Donovan House. At the Donovan house finally get La Danse Macabre and Spice Forge. Also grab Greater Meditation (mandatory for Ending A)

21. Olivia
Go to the Museum and loot it for the Chac Chac (or Yggaegetsu Amulet if you already have a Chac Chac) and the two Fluted Armor Pieces. Then kill Olivia. Equip a Small Thing's Amulet and Fluted Arm Guards and open the fight with a Double Black Smog to blind her. Then Pheromone up your Golem and Black Orb spam her head.

22. Toxicology
Go back to the Donovan House and get Toxicology from Olivia's skill tree.

23. Mayor
Go kill the Mayor. Pheromone up your Golem and Black Orb the Torso to death. Also grab the Fluted Fauld by doing a Double Black Orb on the door with Death Mask and Chac Chac equipped.
Maso Mode Part 3
24. Condensed Hemlock
This is mandatory. It's the best Boss killer in the game.
Make your way to the Sewer Entrance in Riverside. If you decide to go there via Sewers be prepared to kill Caligura. He's easy. Spam Double Black Smog until all his hands are dead then spam Black Orb until he is dead. Then drink a White Vial.

This next part is very hard. Brace yourself.
From the Sewer Entrance you need to get to the Train. The timing is VERY TIGHT. I often reach there right before the fourth and final moonscorch heartbeat ends. So from the Sewer Entrance make an absolute mad dash towards the train. In the Riverside map, if you did not exit to the east perfectly (as in you went too far south and had to backtrack a little) then go back to the Sewer Entrance and try again. If you accidentally hit an obstacle go back and try again.

There is a little room for mistakes so it's not do 100% perfect or fail but it's very close.

Once at the train go to the house in the east. From there go north while hugging the right edge to find the Hemlocks. Gather all of them and return to the house then to the train.

Use the AF Circle in the train to save. You're not gonna come back here again so might as well use the AF circle for something.

25. Masterchef
Go back to Donovan House and get Masterchef from Henryk's tree. This lets you craft Mushroom Stew+ which gives Evasion for 5 turns and lets you consume it before a fight (thus removing the need to waste an action on a brown vial)

26. Heartless One
Equip Black Steel, Death Mask, Fluted Armor, Small Thing's Amulet, Chac Chac, and Soul Devour Necklace. Remove the Green Orb in Spice Forge. Go to the Church and get the Heartshaped Lock. Create 3 Condensed Hemlocks. Draw the Fear & Hunger sigil on the AF Circle and save. Then go to the altar, EAT a Mushroom Stew+, and summon the Heartless One.

Turn 1: Use Condensed Hemlock on the Heartless One's Torso.
Turn 2: Summon a Blood Golem and use Pheromones on him.
Turn 3: Heal yourself and Guard.
Turn 4+ Spam Greater Black Orb to kill the Torso and then the wings. Torso first.

We use a save here because if she gets lucky she can kill you on your first turn.

27. Kill All Moonscorched Contestants
Caligura: Sewers. I end up fighting him in Southern Tunnels but I think it's bugged. He attacks me while I can't see him. Spam Double Black Smog until his hands are dead then work the Torso. (No head)

Samarie: Church Rher's Dimension. Spam Double Black Smog until she's dead. (Head)

Levi: Orphanage Rher's Dimension. Hit his Torso with Greater Black Orb until he's dead. (No Head)

Marcoh: Apartment Rher's Dimension. Pheromone up your Golem then spam Double Black Smog until his legs are cut then Greater Black Orb his head until he's dead. (Unbreakable Head)

Abella: Tunnel 7. Shoot her arms twice with a rifle before engaging and then Pheromone up your Golem and work her Torso. (Unbreakable Head)

Karin: Old Town 1 Island. Go to the shack. RIght outside is a boat. Go there and go to the East most end of the island. Pheromone up your Golem and spam Double Black Smog or Greater Black Orb until she's dead (Head)

Tanaka: Museum. He's stationary. Pheromone up your Golem and spam Greater Black Orb on the Torso until he's dead.(Head)

Daan: Museum Pocketcat.
a. Trade all Contestant heads for Books of Enlightenment (unless you failed to get Sylvian or Rher skin bibles).
b. Remove the Green Orb from Spice Forge.
c. Wear Fluted Armor and Small Thing's Amulet.
Turn 1: Cast Double Black Smog.
Turn 2: Summon and Pheromone your Blood Golem
Turn 3+: Keep your Blood Golem alive while working the Torso until he's dead.

28. PRHVL BOP save
Go to PRHVL BOP and save (or Bookstore if you used PRHVL BOP earlier).

29. Telelectroscope #3
This part is ridiculously hard. Brace yourself.
a. Make your way to Prehevil North-West Waste Disposal Office.
b. Then do a mad dash to the Sewer Entrance in Prehevil West.
c. Then do a mad dash to the Old Storage in Ruined Streets. When the Hornet enemy spawns kill him now so you don't have to bother with him later. I'd kill the Rifleman and Soldier while I'm at it too.
d. Then do a mad dash to the tent in DEEPER Woods. I don't think there is shelter in Deep Woods. Timing is tight. MIND THE PITFALL TRAPS.
e. From the tent go to Tunnel 1. You're gonna have to know the map perfectly. Mad dash from the tent to Tunnel 1. If the owl cultist hits you with a poison dart then you did not know the map perfectly. If you did you would've entered the passage way between the trees that leads to the west before the owl cultist has a chance to shoot.
f. After activating the Telelectroscope, mad dash back to the tent. The timing is very TIGHT.
g. Mad dash back to the Old Storage.

Personally I'd use a book of Enlightenment to save right here in the old storage because of the upcoming Platoon fight.
Maso Mode Part 4
30. Platoon
I am not aware of any magic strategy that doesn't turn this fight into a save-scum fest. There are two ways to do this. Take out the Cannon first or take out the Torso.
Taking out the Cannon first means you only have to endure 2 coin tosses but you need to amputate both of his arms afterwards.
Taking out the Torso first means you have to endure 3 coin tosses but don't need to bother with the arms.

First eat a Mushroom Stew+ for evasion because I've seen a coin toss attack miss because of it. So we're reducing the 25% failure chance even further. Afterwards
Turn 1: Condensed Hemlock on Cannon or Torso
Turn 2: Heal up if you took damage. Otherwise Rev 3 double attack on cannon/torso.
Turn 3+: Heal up if you took damage. Otherwise spam Greater Black Orb on cannon/torso until dead.

31. Save at Donovan House
Go to Donovan's House and draw the Fear & Hunger sigil on the AF Circle and save. You are now completely ready to do Endings A & B. Ending C is not accessible in Maso Mode.

32. Ending B
Go up the moon tower.
Equip Red Virtue, Darkness, Death Mask, Chac Chac, Betel Stone, and Small Thing's Amulet. Rher has increased speed so you need the Small Thing's Amulet.

Per'kele
Use Condensed Hemloc on Per'kele's Torso. Next turn he dies. Extremely easy.

Rher
Pheromone up your Golem so 100% of the mind draining blasts hit him. Heal your Golem every turn and spam that Double Black Smog until only the main body is left and then spam Greater Black Orb until he's dead.

33. Ending A
I use a Book of Enlightenment right before the Platoon fight. Eat a Mushroom Stew+ before it and use your third and final Condensed Hemlock on it.

Kaiser is easy. Eat a Mushroom Stew+ and work the Torso with Greater Black Orbs until he's dead. Remember to equip amputation protection and the Small Thing's Amulet against him.

Logic is easy but a grind fest same as normal. Remember to put the Blue Orb on Loving Whispers and equip the Leechmonger Ring. Work the body with your sword while Double Black Smogging when the lights turn on and Pheromone and Heal up your golem as necessary. Second stage spam normal Black Orb until the Hand of Destruction is dead. From then on every turn do Rev3 Double Attack and then Guard and let your Golem die because she does a hell of a lot more damage to the Golem than to you. Repeat until she's dead.

And that's it! You beat Maso Mode!
Adapting this guide for other characters
The only difference between Marina and other characters is
1. She only needs 2 Skin Bibles because she starts with 2 (essentially) where as other characters need to find all 4.
2. She has access to Advanced Occultism near the start allowing her to use Black Smog on her first turn.

While these are significant advantages, they're not mandatory advantages. Every character can get 4 Skin bibles thanks to Pocketcat unless Lady Luck is seriously out to screw them. And every character can survive a turn to do a Black Smog turn 2.

The only danger here is trying to kill the contestants without turn 1 Black Smog is a little dangerous. Olivia can paralyze you. Marina can blind you. But Sylvian cures the paralysis and Bremen Elite Helmet prevents blindness and a guaranteed Brehmen Soldier spawns in the area east of the Church. He's really easy to take out with two rifle shots to amputate his arms.

So for Fear & Hunger mode the strategy for any character is to basically kill all human contestants day 2 - morning with Black Steel, buy a bunch of skin bibles from Pocketcat, and then max out your affinities and sleep to get the skills you need to kill Sergal with. With a combination of Samarie's skill tree and the 3 GVSR circles (not counting Church because that's required for the Heartless One) you have more than enough to max out Gro-goroth, Sylvian, and Fear & Hunger.

Worst case scenario plan:
1. Get Black Steel via Glass Shard, Leechmonger Ring, and Betel Stone.
2. Loot all the places with Bookshelves while dodging everyone.
3. Day 2 morning kill all human contestants.
4. After trading with Pocketcat draw 2 Gro-goroth, 1 Sylvian, and 2 F&H circles.
5. Get all of Marina's and O'ssa's skills, tier 2 Gro-goroth skills, and Pheromones in a sleep.
6. Kill Samarie and Sergal
7. Use the Donovan Hexen, Necromancy, and Samarie's skills to max out your affinities
8. Get Black Orb, Loving Whispers, and Olivia and Henryk's skills.
9. Finish the game from there.
I have successfully used the worst case scenario plan to get all 3 endings with Karin.

For Maso mode I think you can do it. I think you can kill Sergal with Pep pills/Brown Vial, Murky Vial, amputation protection, and a lot of healing. Murky Vial to burn him to death, pep pills so you can heal and guard every turn, and amputation protection to not lose limbs. Once he's down draw 1 Sylvian circle and 1 Gro-goroth circle. Use necromancy and Samarie's skills to max out your Gro-goroth and Sylvian affinities and then proceed as normal from there.
