Post-Patch Midnight Suns Steam Deck Fix. No more crashes!

Intro
Put this together to counter the slew of posts complaining about bad performance on the Steam Deck after the recent patch. Since the day the game was launched, I've used the below settings and have had little to no stuttering, no crashes, and no save game issues. Game is installed on internal harddrive, not an SD card, and it was purchased through Steam (vs Epic store, GOG, etc). No specific version of proton was forced, simply default. Try it out and let me know.

Performance fix
First and foremost, CryoByte33's performance upgrades are mandatory to get better performance - please follow this video.

Cryobyte has created an easy-to-run script that will add anywhere from a 10% to 30% increase in Steam Deck performance. Again, it's absolutely mandatory.

Screenshots of Graphics Settings
Next, I came across a post about Epic/High settings on the official Steam Deck Reddit that I adopted. The post was removed quickly after it was posted no idea why, but here are screenshots from my end.

Closing
That's all I got. I heard something about resetting graphics settings to fix things post patch - but I haven't had the need to do that. These settings have been rock solid from the start. Good luck!

Thanks and apologies, I misread the title! Greatly appreciate your trying to help any of they gaming community! After one month of engaging with Firaxis customer service I’m still unable to play without CTD. What a cluster F. Good luck fellow gamers, whatever platform you’re on

@peter this is a Steam Deck guide. Sorry you're having issues on Windows, but I can't help you.

Constant crashes in combat since the start, on PC. Finally forced to skip tutorial yet still constant crashing. Game unplayable. System greatly exceeds recommended. A month since the last patch so guessing they're just not going to fix this issue that plagues many. For those of us who cannot play (too late now for a refund) I guess we're just viewed as "acceptable losses" huh Firaxis? That's $100 I literally wasted.

@zroge13240 as for the harddrive space you'd have to uninstall all the big games on your SD as they are loading up your internal drive with shader caches taking up all your space. Then transfer the game over. You might be able to get away with it given the vram fix, but there's a chance you still have issues playing on SD card

@zroge13240 I gotcha buddy, watch the video in the guide and follow all those steps. You should do the whole process explained in the video but the info at 22:47 should specifically help with that particular crash. Lmk

How do you perform a vram fix? For me I keep getting crashes the further in progress in the story and I've had to start over from the beginning 4 times. If theres any solution I'm up for any help. Sadly I can't switch it back to internal hard drive I ran out of space and don't know how to clear things up internally to make room for it. I'm stuck on SD card for rn
