Something weird is happening with Geometry Dash for me.

So randomly I was playing Geometry dash but I noticed that I had lost 50 demon keys. Then I noticed that some random demon levels had progress that was reset (I've only seen on demon levels I haven't completed) and on levels I have beaten it does the thing where if you beat a level in 2.0 then you get orbs for the level if you get a new best on levels in 2.1. I started playing in 2.1 so I'm not sure how it works. I also have lost around 20,000 orbs but I believe the result in the 20,000 orbs and the 50 demon keys is from the progress being reset on demon levels. Whenever I'm looking through demon levels I notice more and more demon levels that my progress has been reset so I'm not sure if more levels are being reset or if it was all at the same time. Today I noticed that my icons were invisible even with a texture pack. I also noticed that the object in levels were invisible except for the default particles (which kind of isn't a part of the level). I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the invisible objects were fixed but nothing else.


I don't know if this matters but I use MegaHack v7.1 and I used to use GD Hackermode and I hadn't been able to fully uninstall it so I just removed the files and it worked but I don't know if that has something to do with this.


I hope that somebody can maybe have a way to fix this or at least say if this is happening to them. It's kind of weird but I just wanted to bring attention to this with people in the Geometry Dash community. If you have help it would be appreciated.

edit: I think it's also happened on unrated levels too but I don't think it's as often as rated levels.

I've had the same problem reinstall your game and it fixes you won't have to reinstall mega hack or anything after also.

if you went from 2.0 to 2.1, there was a bug robtop fixed where you could dupe stuff. many people did this on accident.

try using mh v6 or mh v5. mh 6 is basically v7 with out the botting capabilities, and mh 5 is mh 6 without speedhack

the lost progress my only guess is that you forgot to save after logging out or had to many levels made. for the invisible stuff, my guess is that it has to do with the texture pack
