Modular EFT in PAC3

Start & Basics

Take any EFT playermodel. Preferably with all bodygroups set to 0 in case something goes wrong.

This is what your pac menu should look like:

Next add Entity by Right Clicking on group and selecting "entity". This will be your player entity.


Since we're making playermodel with modular models, we need to hide our base entity with "no draw" option.

Adding Models

To add a model, Right Click on the group and then click on "model"


Next, we need path of model you want to add.
Go to your addons folder in spawnmenu and find your model.


When you found a model, Right Click it and click "Copy to clipboard"


Now, go to the model you added in PAC3, click on it, and replace the "model" option with your copied model path.


The last step for now is to actually bonemerge it. Just click the "bone merge" option in model's properties.


Just repeat it for all parts. The end result might be something like that:

Send your outfit to server by clicking "pac" in the top left part of menu and then clicking "wear"

Fixing clipping issues with Bodies and Armor

To fix your clipping issues on body you just have to change body's bodygroup.
Go to your model and find "bodygroups" at the bottom.


For most tops the order is the following:
0 - Base
1 - Armor
2 - Chest Rig

Put your bodygroup value to whatever looks best.

Saving & Loading

To save, you just have to click "pac" on the top left, then click "save" and either:

Click "new file" will save your outfit as its own file.

You'll be asked to provide a name for saved outfit:


Clicking "auto load (your spawn outfit)" will save your outfit under the name "autoload"

As it says, it will be your outfit on spawn.



Loading is the same, but you have to click "load" instead of "save", then select your outfit.

this is the most detailed and simple guide. i highly reccomend using PAC instead of modeling your own PM's. So much simpler. 10/10.

cant find the EFT stuff in the addon folder for the life of me

So you open the C menu (hold down c)
Then PAC3 should be there
