Maybe javelins only sell for 16674 denars without perks, but with the "Artisan Smith" (Smithing perk) and "Appraiser" (Trade perk), im getting 28442 denars for javelins that have MAX SIZE on all of these parts:

For reference I've also checked how much your recipe sells for in my game with the character from comment below. The Two-handed polearm (Price: ~33676) with Artisan Smith and Appraiser sells for 49643 Denars. So it's only 66% more coin (50k vs 30k) for 400% bigger material cost.

The true best smithing weapon for sale is a Two Handed Polearm that sells around ~30k and is cheap as hell to make (2 steel, 1 wood, 1 charcoal). With Artisan Smith (Smithing 175) [www.bannerlordperks.com] and Appraiser (Trade 25) [www.bannerlordperks.com] it sells for 29200.

It is also great for leveling other characters by smelting. One smelt allows upgrading supporting companions to 25 Smithing, so they can make you the charcoal (2 wood -> 3 coal).
