FIREFALL TRAVEL SYSTEM

There are a few different ways to travel around in Firefall – Running, Jumping with Jumpjets, going by Dropship, LGV (Motorbike), Ranger All-Terrain MGV, Glider , Melding Fragment Arcfolder, Copacabana Personal Arcporter or Teleport.

Glider Pad

Glider Pads come in two variations :

Stationary Glider Pads are permanent and can be found at various locations, such as Watchtowers.

Deployable Glider Pad can be consumables or reusable calldowns providing gliders if needed. They have to be deployed in a place with enough vertical clearance and sufficiently level ground.

Dropship

Dropships are Firafall's form of automated fast travel between the various POI's. They fly on predefined paths and will land for a short period in any Accord controlled hub or outpost.
A Dropship can be exited any time during flight by pressing "E". Shortly after ejecting, the glider will activate automatically to provide a safe landing. Player characters exit a dropship automatically at the next stop after being flagged as afk (a term to describe the user as "away from keyboard", or inactive).

Dropship Routes

LGV (Motorbike) or Ranger All-Terrain MGV

LGV's (Light Ground Vehicles) are reusable (two exceptions) calldowns and one form of fast travel possibilities in New Eden and the Warfronts.
They usually can be accessed in the "Vehicles" tab of the Calldown menu and have to be deployed in a place with enough vertical clearance and sufficiently level ground.

You can get your arcporter from in game store or marketplace.
