Physx Files with Graphics Settings. 1

These are for some graphics settings, and might fix other issues.
Note that if you can't find the folders mentioned, check the 2 pictures below.
Try these steps.
Step 1. -
Rename physx files.png, as physx files.zip, and do the same with the rest.

Step 2. -
Open physx files.zip and extract the folder to the game's binaries folder where the .exe file is located.
The path is - "the drive letter you used to install the game"\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\transformers war for cybertron\Binaries\.

Step 3. -
Open all the .zip files that you had to rename as .zip from .png, extract each one into the physx files folder, that you placed in the binaries folder of the game.

Note that you will need to update these files with what is in your updated physx folder, located in your program files folder - nvidia, on the harddrive that you installed physx.
Although I have the latest version in these as of 7/19/2014, until another update happends.

Right click on the .exe file of the game, click properties, find the compatibility tab at the top, click on it and check the box that says "run this program as an administrator". Click apply and click ok.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once you have done this, download the config.png file, rename it config.zip, and extract it into the path "the drive you have your documents folder" \Users\'user name'\Documents\my games\Transformers\TransGame\.

If you have any folders open, just close them after all files are in the right paths.

Delete the .png and .zip files, any left over should be deleted.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Right click on the desktop, click on "nvidia control panel".
Once it is open, click on "adjust image settings with preview" tab on the far left, under 3d settings.
Click on "Use the advanced 3d image settings".
Next, click on "manage 3d settings" tab on the far left.
Click on the "program settings" tab under the manage 3d settings tab.
Find under the game's list, Transformers: War for Cybertron.
If it is not there, click "add", and find the .exe of the game.

Once it is there, set these settings.

Antialiasing - Mode = Override any application setting.
Preferred refresh rate = Highest available.
Click Apply, and once the settings are saved, close the nvidia control panel.

If you can, download the nvidia inspector, and modify the game some more for the most advanced settings. Only a few settings will work.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you find these settings won't let your game work, open the nvidia control panel, and set it to "let the 3d application decide". Then try the game again.
Also radeon video card users, should try some of the steps, such as the physx files folder placed into the binaries folder, as well as the config folder needs placed in the path listed above.
And then try any settings you can in your radeon catalyst control center, remember where it is at before you change it.
Note for radeon graphics card users. -
If you don't feel like changing it right now for the radeon, at least try the other steps I listed above with the files and folders extracting to the paths, it might fix your game if it doesn't start up, as well as some graphics settings.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is only a test, and it does help your game a little in graphics, but it might help others, in other small ways.
Also if you have sli multiple video cards, you will need to adjust your settings in the nvidia control panel and nvidia inspector accordingly, for it to work right with the game. Same with radeon video cards, use your catalyst control center and find settings for crossfire multiple video cards.

What the purpose of all of this? Messing around with the PhysX files seems pointless. The game runs fine as is.

Also use the mod that gives you some graphical visuals to enhance it and then use 4k DSR in the Nvidia Control Panel for the game, for the game at that resolution and check out how amazing the jets look.. or anything in the game.

It really wasn't that difficult, just move some files and modify / tweak the settings for the game in Nvidia Inspector.

The files would also need updated in this info.
There could be more or less, with updated versions and on top of that, yes.. it did look extremely nice.
However.. was also at the risk of causing hangs to the game or screen crash / system crash.

It actually worked but it was at an extreme alpha phase and thus.. it caused serious bugs, but I'm sure it's more stable now than it was at the time..

Although this is a very old thread.. I never updated this, though I might at some point but not for some time. Also the graphics drivers have been updated many times since then and with bug fixes.

Seems like a hell of a lot of work for a little or possibly no results!
