Genovia | The Princess Diaries

This mod adds in "Genovia" from The Princess Diaries!

This is a very very early WIP. Basically it's just on the steam workshop so I can playtest it with some friends.

Pretty much I just created this because I was watching The Princess Diaries and thought it would be fun to play it in Vicky 3!

Features:
- Adds Genovia between France and Italy (per the books)!

Future Improvements:
- Add an emblem to the flag
- Journal entries
- Pretty much everything you can think of

If you have any suggestions on changes to make please leave a comment! This is my first time modding and I know basically nothing about balancing this game

Changelog:
11/12 - Moved Genovia to be its own state to the SE of France. It's much much smaller now

Ah ok, thanks for clearing that up, I didn't even know the book existed. If I were to assume why the movie changed it, it's probably so they could use Andorra if a scene with a map ever came up (I mean, Monaco exists too, but that would be way too small to qualify as much more than a city-state. so it wouldn't work in scenes that would require a visual of the actual county on a world map or map of Europe).

it's weird, the movie states that it's between Spain and France, but the books state that it's between France and Italy... Not sure why they decided to change it that way for the movies? There seemed to be a more Italian influence than Spanish influence in the movies though, so I ended up placing it in SE France.

Looks like a great mod, though if we're talking about, shouldn't it be located "in the mountains between France and Spain" as it's mentioned in the movie?

Always found it interesting where they chose to describe that country. Personally my first thought was always "so it's where Andorra is in real life then?"

That's a pretty big Genovia! I thought it was supposed to be Monaco-sized.
