Silent Hill: Casual Nightmare Part A

Leírás
First part of a fan-made match-3 game based on SH1. All rights belong to their respective owners.

After finishing the chapter, select the next one from the "Chapters" menu (second button below the cover, from left to right).

If you feel that the gameplay gets too hard in the later chapters, don't forget to add healing artifacts to your inventory before the start of the game (I designed the battles so that they could be completed even without using them, but chance and luck still play too big role in match-3 episodes. For example, the battle with the Nurse from Chapter 6 in some playthroughs was very easy for me, yet sometimes it was unbearable without using healing power-ups - so, if you stuck, don't hestitate to use them).

Please, watch the credits to to the end - this section includes an information about all of the sources of used materials and an afterword.

If you wish to support the author, the best thing you can do in current circumstances is to support all the people of Ukraine - visit StandForUkraine[dot]com to choose the reliable organization that helps to fight russian invasion and overcome its consequences.

I will prepare the file with an English/ Google-translated Chinese script when I got some spare time in a future. Even if there will be no enthusiast to translate it, it will be easier for players to understand what is happening in the game when original text is available for manual auto-translation. Thank you for your attention to this mod! ^^

Too bad I don't speak Chinese T___T

The best thing I can do now is to publish the mod's script both in English and with Google Translation from English to Chinese (it's better than nothing, yet much worse than a real translation), in hopes that someday there will be an enthusiast who knows both Chinese and English, and who can translate the file - alas, for free.

(For now my financial state does not allow me to pay for a translator, especially since there may be a problem in my country with transferring money to cards from another countries). Of course, in that case I will add this person's name/ nickname to Credits page as a translator (and to Steam mod description page too).

It's definitely not a masterpiece (and, frankly, it's a parody in its basis, the concept of which was inspired by Konami's announces of three new Silent Hill games in October 2022), yet I feel satisfied with the result, including its comical (post-ironic?) visual presentation and a campy atmoshpere (which is backed up by special effects of Mirror Maker engine).
